I have found Saffy a bit hit and miss, at first she was very helpful, sent me an invoice and said it would be ready in about a week. It wasn't. She then got my name wrong and said she hadn't seen my messages where I told her the name I wanted, even though she had replied. Odd. More time passed so I messaged her and she said her Nanna had died, which I felt sorry for her and didn't mind waiting. However she was then still advertising for business and posting on network groups. If you cannot do the orders you already have why would you be advertising for more? It got to the point where I was loosing business as I wanted to open up my new page with my new branding that I just excepted what ever she gave me even though I was not completely happy with it. I needed a stamp to go with my business, this was essential so I kept asking if she could do this. She replied on a selling group and said it was fine and to order though her shop. I never got this. She ignored all of my messages apart from one when I said I was going to apply to paypal for a refund aswell as contact trading standards. She said she had emailed me to say there was a delay and it would be posted Tuesday. I never had an email. It was never posted. She did not reply to my messages. She deleted any messages I posted on her page (these were not bad messages to her page just ones asking her to contact me). I have contacted several other stamp makers asking to do me one in the design and they said they couldn't do it. I have seen so many people on crafting groups that have had the same issues and are ignored by Saffy when things go wrong. I hope you take this as constructive criticism as your designs are beautiful and you do have a real talent however you can not run a business this way. You are taking peoples money and not giving them what they paid for. After having really high hopes for this when I ordered I have been left feeling very disappointed and looking for someone else to re do them. Luckily I paid via paypal and they have refunded me.
I ordered a website and logo package through her ETSY store... at close to $1000. 00. Biggest business mistake of my life! After 4 months of listening to her lies, broken promises such as 'Hi lovely, I sent your proofs through' which was just a blatant lie and a stalling tactic I still had absolutely NOTHING from her. I started to investigate her and found the 'Saffy Loves is a Scam' webpage which I wish I had read before giving her my money.
Once I started to ask for my money back... what little communication we did had stopped. By the end I was BEGGING her to give me back my money. Thankfully ETSY ripped it out of her account and gave it back to me but Facebook users have NO protection.
DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.It was my first lesson in business hell.
Takes money quickly. Makes promises. Never fulfilled. I was very stressed out during my dealings with her. Long story - promises made, never kept to them, only my money. I kissed goodbye to over £50.00. Do not touch this business. Not good.
Do not order from her Facebook page or her website! She's quick to take the money... then you start to wonder why you haven't received your goods. She tells you she is posting replacements which is complete lies! Then when you try to message her again she doesn't respond! Luckily Paypal gave me a full refund straight away! Stay away!
I cannot begin to say how disappointed I am at the whole experience of a transaction with Saffy Loves Design. I really wish I had read these review before I placed my order with her on 7th of January 2015 for a branding package as clearly there is a huge pattern going on here. It all starts off well, the invoice is sent very quickly and then nothing, communication is very poor and when you give notice of intent to lodge a dispute with Paypal a little action happens then nothing once more. This is such a shame as her work appears to be very good which is why I placed the order in the first place, however, I should have realised when there is not a review tab on her Facebook page that she doesn't want any of this to touch her media profile. Unfortunately this is very quickly looking like a bit of a scam to me - despite fractions of orders appearing. What is very annoying is the heavy networking presence and advertising on social media - or am I being very naive and is this how real scammers work?
Saffy has saved me so many customers and gained me more. I'm happy to share my business cards. I'm not disappointed at all every time saffy has done something for me she does an excellent job. Thankyou saffy
Saffy designed me a whole logo and updated all the branding for me too. She took time on a weekend to get it all to me to make sure i would have it for my first craft fair of the year. Thanks so much!
Awful. Like the people above. Saffy is quick to to take money but once shes got it... thats it! She never ever replies. Just removes the comments you leave on her page and then blocks you! Shame on her for being such a scammer!
I can see Saffy has had some horrible reviews here but I wanted to write about my experience. She totally transformed my little business page on facebook made it all look more professional. Not only did she do this but she also helped me install it, I had no idea how to watermark images with my new logo and she also showed me how to do this too!

Communication is excellent until payment received and then all becomes quite a bit of a big communication MESS!
I ordered a design on 8th Dec and no design was received within the time stated. I gave it extra time before sending my Email. Saffy took her time to respond but then explained her CAT had eaten her computer wire.
After requesting a refund I was ignored. Saffy clearly doesn't give much due diligence to the fact that her personal details are linked to her business and her information and where abouts are displayed publicly using a very simple search.
After explaining I was fully prepared to take matters to a scam reporting agency along with these details - She finally responded and a refund was received.
Thanks Saffy - next time i'll go somewhere a little more ethical!
I had the exact same experience as the previous reviewer. I paid £60 initially for a logo design. I had to politely chase, and it took way longer than I had expected, but I did receive this. I then placed an order for some labels and a slightly amended version of the logo to include my website details. She sent me a proof and then nothing for two weeks. When I chased, she said that she doesn't drive so only goes to the post office once a week (as if I was being unreasonable chasing after 2 weeks). I left it at that, and didn't point out that even if she did only go once a week, I should have received it after 2 weeks! I asked about the digi file and she said she was just having something to eat and would email it after that. Nothing. That was the last reply I got, I sent more messages asking for the file to be emailed, and for a refund on the labels that had clearly never been posted (or even printed). I left polite chaser comments on her FB page which were instantly deleted, and in the end I had to raise a dispute through Paypal. I just got the refund from Paypal as a result of the dispute raised, but still not a word from her directly.
It's a ridiculous way to run a business. She designs lovely stuff, but clearly loses interest in actually doing the work after she's done the initial design. She posts several times a day offering various special offers and deals, so presumably is getting lots and lots of orders (and money) and then only fulfilling a handful of them. She really shouldn't take on more orders until she can fulfil those she's been paid for. Since she deletes any negative comments on her page quite quickly (and now I'm aware of this, I've noticed a lot of very polite emails from people asking when they will get their stuff, that then disappear off her comments). I'd have to say from my experience that she's nothing but a scammer, and it's a shame that Facebook don't do something about it. Having googled her I can see that she's had to stop using Instagram for this very reason. I just hope that some potential customers come across the reviews here and find someone reputable to design their logos.
I honestly could not be more distraught by the service and treatment that I have received from this business. When I first came across her graphic design shop on Etsy.com I was so pleased to find a designer creating the kind of logos which I had in mind. Excited about starting up my business, I spent the majority of money which I had saved up to start my business on a custom designed logo, business cards, order books, gift vouchers, Facebook timelines. Etc. So I waited a while to get my logo designs back, but it was fine. Since I run a small business myself, I understand that it can be very busy at times so I was patient. Received my logo through fine, then the problems started. All I wanted was the items which I had paid for, and I waited over 4 weeks before politely asking her how everything was going, to which I had no reply. Several times I asked if she could email me over my stuff, to which I was totally ignored. Phone calls ignored. Finally, 2 days before I would run out of time to open an Etsy case I did it, because I hadn't heard from her and felt if I didn't I would never receive what I had paid for. After opening the case I heard from her, nice as pie, saying she would print it off and send it. To which I replied with how grateful I was and again if she could email me over my Facebook timeline bits in the meantime. Then once again I was ignored. I have been ignored now again through the entire process of this case. I am absolutely distraught! Over 9 weeks after placing my order (which said 12 days to receive) I am still being ignored and still have not received my stuff. What could I have possibly done to Saffyloves in order to deserve being treated this way?! I paid for something, been patient and polite, and in return I get ignored and not receive my goods. I need these items to run my business! I cannot possibly describe how awful this ordeal has been, and in fact still is. At best this is the absolute worst customer service I have every received and at worst an absolute scam! Who knows if I will ever receive my stuff or my money back at least. Please avoid this website and business, it is honestly not worth the hassle and upset. Go to somewhere reputable and reliable.
