Saffy Loves Design

At first, I did not have a problem with saffy. Outside of the fact that she took a long time, she seemed helpful and delivered me a beautiful logo and business card. I did have a problem with the sizing of the business cards. They were not fitting into the template from any company without my design being cut off from the image being too large. She resized them multiple times, or so she said, but they never fit right. I gave up. Later on I asked her to update my email address on my card. My mistake for not noticing the spelling error. I trusted tha a graphics designer could spell. I was wrong. I asked her to resize my image poster sized. She asked me for the dimensions and promised me over and over, but never did. I tried contacting her to update my business card and correct her spelling error. I emailed multiple times in multiple forums. No response. She's moved websites and email addresses repeatedly. She called angry customers "haters" but they have good reason. She is extremely talented and has horrible business ethics. What a waste. I've had to hire a new designer and start from scratch for copywrite reasons. I can no longer use my beautiful work from her. Such a disappointment. She was the designer that I had dreamed of but it turned out to be a nightmare

I had the exact same experience as the previous reviewer. I paid £60 initially for a logo design. I had to politely chase, and it took way longer than I had expected, but I did receive this. I then placed an order for some labels and a slightly amended version of the logo to include my website details. She sent me a proof and then nothing for two weeks. When I chased, she said that she doesn't drive so only goes to the post office once a week (as if I was being unreasonable chasing after 2 weeks). I left it at that, and didn't point out that even if she did only go once a week, I should have received it after 2 weeks! I asked about the digi file and she said she was just having something to eat and would email it after that. Nothing. That was the last reply I got, I sent more messages asking for the file to be emailed, and for a refund on the labels that had clearly never been posted (or even printed). I left polite chaser comments on her FB page which were instantly deleted, and in the end I had to raise a dispute through Paypal. I just got the refund from Paypal as a result of the dispute raised, but still not a word from her directly.

It's a ridiculous way to run a business. She designs lovely stuff, but clearly loses interest in actually doing the work after she's done the initial design. She posts several times a day offering various special offers and deals, so presumably is getting lots and lots of orders (and money) and then only fulfilling a handful of them. She really shouldn't take on more orders until she can fulfil those she's been paid for. Since she deletes any negative comments on her page quite quickly (and now I'm aware of this, I've noticed a lot of very polite emails from people asking when they will get their stuff, that then disappear off her comments). I'd have to say from my experience that she's nothing but a scammer, and it's a shame that Facebook don't do something about it. Having googled her I can see that she's had to stop using Instagram for this very reason. I just hope that some potential customers come across the reviews here and find someone reputable to design their logos.

After researching for a designer style for my business facebook page last year I came across Saffy loves. I decided to contact Saffy and see if she would be able to design me a business logo and facebook banner.

Saffy replied back straight away and said yes she could do that and she would send me an invoice through PayPal along with a questionnaire to complete and email back. I asked for current turnaround times and was told 7-10 business days which I was more than happy with and completed payment.

10 days came and went without any contact with Saffy so after 15 days I sent her a Facebook message asking for an update. She replied quite promptly saying that she was working on it the following day and she would email me the proofs through. Expecting an email as promised I left it a few days before trying to contact Saffy again. This time I recieved no response even though Saffy continued to update her page. I decided to write a post on her page requesting a response to my message, this was deleted and no reply recieved again. I eventually sent Saffy a final message asking her to refund me my payment as my order was clearly not going to be completed. Again no response was recieved leaving me the only option of logging a dispute with PayPal. PayPal reimbursed me after they recieved no response from Saffy with regards to the claim I had logged.

For the people who say that the reviews on here are unfair or not correct, I have the messages from Saffy and then my numerous messages where I recieved no response despite them being read on facebook.
If you have had a good experience with Saffy then I would count yourselves as lucky as its not a pleasure having to constantly chase someone for a service paid for upfront. I understand small businesses are very busy at time but if you can't complete your current workload then don't keep advertising for more!
