I ordered 3 lightsabers from their site that stated they would arrive in 6-8 weeks. They billed me immediately, but I did not receive anything until 13 weeks, 1 day. It was very difficult to get any communication from them and most emails went unanswered (they ONLY use email). What I finally received was terrible. All 3 were defective. 2 of them had LEDs improperly installed causing internal burning and destroying the sabers. The sabers had mismatched parts and no tools were included to attach them (instructions state tools are included). I couldn't get anyone to return my emails so I canceled payment on my credit card. They didn't even notice for 2 months and then, when they finally noticed, they threatened legal action against me even though they were the ones who sent defective items and refused to address it. They finally agreed to fix the problem, but refused to do it before we sent the old ones back. We felt it was only fair to keep them until new ones were sent since we already waited so long. They refused so it ended up taking almost 6 months to finally receive working sabers. After all this, they refused to take any money off or to throw in anything extra for all we had to go through. This is a very unprofessional company... stay far away. If in doubt, check them out at the BBB. Terrible place.

Buyer Be Very Aware

Be very careful before placing an order with this company. There is no telephone number to call and they are very slow to respond to emails. The instructions inside the box are vague at best. There are some instructions online but they are very hard to find and just as vague as whats in the box. Also you only have 15 days from delivery to return your purchase. I placed an order for 2 lightsabers but immediately felt something was wrong because the light was very dim. Several emails just turned into wasted time so I started a return process. Two weeks went by after they received my return and I never received any type of return confirmation from them. I sent another email threatening to open a charge dispute with my credit card company and all of sudden they are availabe to send me an email. They admitted that the lightsaber tubes inside my box were incorrect which is why the brightness was so dim. Now they are going to charge me a 15% restocking fee because they say there are scratches on the handles. My son never played with them because of how dissappointed he was that the light wasw so dim. I think they are charging me the restocking fee because I threatening to open a charge dispute with my credit card. I will never do business with this company again. Be very careful and think before buying something from this company.

My credit card was charged 4 times after telling me it was not accepted. Also, there is no place to tell where or who to send the gift card.
Since then, I contacted customer service and they told me"Our records show only one charge was accepted for your order. Sometimes with declined trasnactions, banks / credit card companies place temporary holds on the account for the amount of the declined transaction. These holds are usually lifted within a few days." The second charge was lifted shortly therafter.
As far as the email address for the gift card emaill address, the customer service stated, "Gift cards are emailed, and the email address you use to place the order for the gift card is the email it will be sent to. From there, you can forward it to the person you intended it for, or you can use their email address when you place the order initially. As per the description for gift cards" It was my fault I did not understand the procedure and used my own email address instead of the recipient.

I ordered a Mystery Saber, Initiate, and was looking forward to having a lightsaber I could have some fun with. I didn't consider the time it would take to fulfill the order, which time it took actually makes sense, but got the shipment two days after shipping, which is what I paid for.

What came was a mystery hilt. I did understand that it would have no electronics, but I thought it would have came with a blade of some kind. It was only after reviewing the mystery box saber description that I found that anything above initiate level came with a blade, but the initiate just came empty, which is NOT what I thought I was ordering.

Am I a bit frustrated and disappointed? Yes, but honestly all the information was right there in front of me. I was just too excited to read the full description to catch that little detail. If I did see that, I wouldn't have ordered, and taken my money to Ultrasaber and bought a grab bag lightsaber for $70 that comes with a hilt and a blade and lights up in a color you get to pick out. I even found a coupon on Honey so the total was $87 with shipping verses the $93 it cost for an empty hilt I got here.

While an empty hilt does lead to some interesting possibilities, it wasn't what I wanted, but I only have myself to blame for that. I might order another mystery box saber in the future, but only after I have some experience of what I'd want to do with it. It's a little hard to swallow spending almost $100 total for a cool looking paperweight.

Saber is fantastic but maybe wouldn't order another because the order was shipped using FedEx I had to pay £86 in imports fees, (UK) using shipping like DHL could possibly avoid this.

This is a response to my e-mail where I explained that the entire reason for me ordering the thing has passed, at this point I'm just waiting to see if they actually fulfill the order or not. This is pulled directly from their e-mail, no editing except for font, which is different mid-way through (likely the first bit is a copy-pasted, canned response to e-mails). Also, they don't appear to count mondays as business days, so the lead time on their responses reflects that as well (if you e-mail them on a friday, you can expect to wait almost 2 calendar weeks to get a reply, minimum).

Ordered without knowing about the incredible lead times on their items. Only after they took my money did they let me know it is at barest minimum 9 weeks to receive anything from them. I e-mailed them 4 weeks out to get any kind of update on the process, and it took them 2 weeks to reply to my e-mail. The customer service person said to expect at least a 2-5 weekday lead time on e-mail responses. I e-mailed back and it's been almost 3 weeks with no response. I've filled out a BBB complaint, for whatever that is worth. I spent almost $400 on my order, and I have a creeping suspicion I will not see hide or tail of either my order, or that money again. Buyers beware, there has to be a better option than this.
