Ryobi enjoys a mixed reputation among its customers, with notable strengths in product quality and versatility. Many users appreciate the performance and ease of use of their tools, particularly battery-operated lawn equipment, which is praised for its efficiency and lightweight design. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to warranty claims, service delays, and difficulties in obtaining replacement parts. Complaints about inadequate support and communication suggest a need for improvement in customer relations. Overall, while Ryobi has a loyal customer base, enhancing service responsiveness could bolster its reputation further.

I have used a ryobi one drill for a few years and. Had been pleased. I needed a weedwacker and purchased the 40-volt ryobi it has been a 250 dollar disaster first the battery went bad verified by ryobi rep told that under warranty but they were backorder a n d to go to home depot a ND purchase new battery and would be reimbursed the battery was purchased on 6/14 today is 9/18 still no check the wacker stopped functioning would run fine for about5 minutes and then would slow to crawl I will not waste my time and just take an approximate 400 dollar loss even though under warranty. Would not recommend either tool or company
My new 18 volt sting trimmer/ edger is light weight and easy to use. It handles all my trimming needs effectively. I would definitely recommend it for someone doing trimming around their yard.
Overall a good tool line. Verly pleased with the performance. Would buy again i tell everyone to try the products.
Light weight and powerful enough to bag grass. I am impressed.
Perfect for senior citizens and smaller yards.
Excellent product. Exceptional quality for the cost. Product was exactly what was expecting based upon expectations from past purchases.
Very easy to use & very efficient. RYOBI tools are sturdy & made to last. RYOBI products are the best!
My Ryobi snowblower came with two batteries and I have never run out of power with it yet. I use it mainly for cleaning sidewalks and decks and have been very happy with it. I wish it was self-propelled but it is not a big problem for my uses. I also like the light for those days I get up early to clean off the walks.
I currently own multiple Ryobi tools, in which I can not say enough good things about them. I currently have 2 drill sets, 2 chain saws 18" and 14" bar, leaf blower, weed eater, tire inflater and recently just brought the power washer. I used my chain saws to clear cut area to place home on up north 6 years ago and to this day it still fire's up on the first or second pull when a tree is down. I will continue to purchase other tools as projects come up. To the Ryobi team, please continue to make your A1 products and I will continue on purchasing the product line. Thank you again.
I have a few different Ryobi tools. I'm sharing my experience regarding the 18 Volt chemical sprayer. I already had a 1 gal. Unit! While shopping Ryobi tools, I saw the 2/ 2 gal. Sprayer. This allows 4 gallons ready to go! Just remove motorized cap and add to other tank. Great time saver!
I really enjoy my way RYOBItools they make my yard work life very very easy and stress-free. I'm not sure how I made it all these years with other tools other than having Ryobi.
This is my second RYOBI blower I have purchased in the past
Three months. I have a home in Florida and NY State and would not be
Without these. I left my one in Florida and purchased my second one for NY State.
I tried a Craftsman and also had a older Black and Decker. These ROBI products
Have others beat ten fold. The RYOBI blower is the absolute best and powerful.
Other blowers don't hold a candle to these. I'm sold on these products and will
Not have any others.

My 18 volt blower is a wonderful addition to my list of roybi 18 volt tools. I selected roybi tools because od the past great sevice the tools have provided me with.
I've used this shearer 2 times now and something happened to the blade and it will no longer trim. It moves back and forth but won't cut anything. Some of their other tools I've purchased from Ryobi have been fine but this is pretty poor, cheap quality. I can either pay Home Depot to look at it and try to fix it or take it to some Ryobi center and it will take them 8 weeks to look at it as they have more than 250 jobs in front of mine. OMG, how frustrating and what a crappy tool.
Battery powered tools will set the standards for the future. No gas, heavy equipment. Mixing of gas and all the other choirs of gasoline motors. So many times I just couldn't get those things started. Now I can actually do my own lawns again. I've been fighting cancer for over 6 years getting weaker as the battle continues. I now don't have to worry about getting my equipment started. THANK YOU RYOBI!
I really like me RYOBI tools they work very well and are very tuff tools and the new Batteries are very good and last a long time, plus the new Batteries work in some of my older RTOBI tools which is saving me some money, being a retired senior that really helps.
I am very happy with my new battery operated lawn mower. It is so easy to do my lawn now. I told my neighbour so she has now bought one also.
Like all of the Ryobi cordless tools I own, it worked perfectly. Put it together and go. Easy to carry, easy to fill, easy to clean
Excellent choice for our garden remodel project, made planting and other hole digging much better than manually digging with post hole diggers
I've had a lot of power tools and payed the higher price for Dewalt, Then working at home and doing small projects I got to depending more on Ryobi, I noticed the reviews in Consumers Reports and so I bought my Ryobi generator over the more expensive Honda, The Ryobi is as good in every way and cost me several hundred less. Their power tools are in every way as good as Dewalt IMO, The most important thing is I can afford to have more power tools by using Ryobi and I get everything I did from the more expensive brands. I have not been asked to give a positive review I just think everyone likes to save money
Answer: I own 2 chain saws, 18" bar and 14"bar, both run excellent, I have cleared a lot of trees over the last several years on property up north, thank you
Answer: Yes, call Ryobi's 800 number. They will send a replacement. The same thing happened to me.
