I purchased a $3000 Moraccon rug and was promised a certificate of authenticity, however, I haven't received anything and the rug arrived before Christmas or approximately there of. I called multiple times and each time I was told it was mailed. Well, have you seen it? Because I have not. Customer service takes forever to answer the phone. I even asked to speak to the buyer who purchases these rugs for the company. I was told they weren't available. L must say the rug came in very good condition as promised. However, Persian rugs, oriental rugs and Moroccan rugs are very expensive and it is necessary to have a certificate of authenticity if you want to sell the rug some day. These rugs are antique and very desirable.
At this point I am going to call and ask for a manager but I don't think it will get me anywhere.
My advice, don't buy from this company. They are not reputable.
I ordered what I thought was a crimson red living room area rug. I ordered through Amazon from this site. What was delivered today was a joke! The quality of the rug isn't the best, but the color is nothing like the picture and nothing like I imagined. I received a cranberry rug with no grip or weight to it. Right now, it's being weighed down with dumb bells because of the extremely curled/bent ends. The color is awful! I'm going to try my best to return it, and get my money back.
I just received my kitchen rug. It is perfect
It gives me the look I was wanting
Thank you for your fast service
Great product
Purchased a rug - listed for $200 but on sale for $99. Have purchased other rugs from box stores for this price and have been please. Rug we received was thin and looked like the $49 special at Walmart. Edges have curled, doesn't lay flat and looks Cheap! Cheap! Cheap. This is our experience from Rugs.com - they seem to sell just cheap rugs, as other reviews have alluded to! Wish I could give them a good report, but quality of their products is below par!
The rug I received was nice but color was not the perfect match that I needed. The problem was the cost to return this rug. The cost was $70.00 to return plus the initial shipping and handling fee. It also took 11 days after they received the rug to recieve my refund. That was after a few phone calls inquiring about my refund. The refund amount was short the taxes I paid so I had to email them and the shortage which they did acknowledge and refund that amount right away. Due to the fact of the expensive return cost I will now order rugs from local shops to avoid the costly return fees.
The rug 8" rug came folded rather than rolled because it cheaper to ship that way. No way could I get the deep creases out. I returned it with their return label and they acknowledged that they received it... but no credit was made to my credit card despite my repeated calls. I finally had to resort to disputing the charge on my credit card to get my money back. Save your money and buy from Amazon.
Do not bother with this company. Stick with Amazon folks. This company is un professional and unapologetic when THEY make mistakes!
The rug I ordered isn't close to what I received and I have had to jump through hoops to try and return a rug that I never even ordered!
Worse rugs ever and worse customer service I asked to return the rug I bought from them because the rug edges are not flat on thr floor, they never answer and when they answered by email refunded only $9 from $53 and then they stopped to answer.
Bought an 8x10 rug, the price seemed good, and they state on their site that they GUARANTEE their prices to be the lowest. While later looking for a runner to match, I found the same 8x10 elsewhere for $100 less! Contacted Rugs.com an hour or two after buying by email, asked if they'd match the price since they say they have the lowest prices, never got a reply. Also tried calling several times, was on hold forever, no response despite them claiming to have customer service 24/7. They do say that replies will take longer because of Covid but they NEVER reply, and other unhappy buyers complained about no customer service before Covid, so that's an excuse. I finally demanded that they cancel my order - which hadn't shipped, got NO response to that either. These people are either totally inept of frauds. If they ship the rug I'll refuse it and will contest the charges. I contacted the BBB and the SC attorney general's consumer complaints office. HORRIBLE experience, never again with this fraud of a company!
Ordered and was told "most ship within 24-48 hours"
In 6 days after got 13 emails for "sales" and "specials" and NOT ONE about my order. Never was shipped, Cancelled and three days later still waiting for a refund
I purchased an outdoor rug from this company in shades of orange and red. It arrived promptly and I put it in my backyard. Granted, I live in sunny California, but after just a month or two the colors faded to a dull brown. I contacted customer service and Janigua took good care of me... authorizing me to select a replacement rug at no charge. My new rug arrived quickly, in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this company.
The client service is only robotic. There is no return process in place. I have a terrible experience.
Order online, rugs, com stated sale ends tonight. Paid by CC. Sale is still same price next day and the stated that my order was canceled because on merchant services denied it. No ideal what merchant services is but then they follow up with another email saying I can pay using paypal. They bait you with your CC then tell you CC was denied. They want you to use paypal because paypal will not enforce them to return, refund or honor their products. In other words, CC companies force them to honor their commitments, paypal much more easier for them to scam you. Review the BBB, over 150 complaints, review the complaints from the internet and you decide.
With my order of multiple sizes of one design, rugs are different background shades of colors!
Back order of a rug, took 6 weeks,
rugs.com tried to get me to buy a different one of same or lower price instead.
Rugs from rugs.com are buckled, their instructions state:"Just vacuum them", did not remove the buckling.
This is the second time in several years that I have tried to buy something from rugs.com. They canceled both times. When I wrote to ask them why they wrote back:
"Thank you for your email. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience.
There are many reasons an order may be found invalid and canceled but, unfortunately, Merchant Services does not provide us with those reasons. When an order is canceled, we relay that to the customer and advise them to use PayPal if the order is still wanted.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter
Kindest Regards

I use the same credit card, same address, and same name each time. I have no debt on this card, so why do they cancel? The reason is evident in the line "When an order is canceled, we relay that to the customer and advise them to use PayPal if the order is still wanted." They want lower cost. To me, this is an absolutely invalid reason and the credit card should be notified, so I will.
There are wrinkles in my big rug that haven't gone away. I tried rolling it up front side up and back side up. Nothing has helped get the wrinkles out. My matching hallway rugs turn up at the corners.
We were encouraged to bring some rugs home to see if they were a fit for our house. We were told, upon return of any rugs that we would be refunded. The rugs we took home were returned within 2 days and we are at day FORTY with no refund. Total BS. Avoid this place at all costs.
My rugs arrive a little late, not a big problem. The rug was too big. So tried to return it, have been waiting over a month for return labels which you must have to return item. Have emailed then, call several times, no respond no one answers the phone no matter what time you call just a recording.
If you order from them you better like it, because they really don't have a return policy
Ordered 2 rugs. Only got one but was billed for 2. Tried calling 2 straight days. NOTHING. Emailed them. NOTHING. Never again will I do business with them. BAD BUSINESS.
Great experience. Received my tracking information within 24hrs. Ordered my rugs on Wednesday one came Saturday and the other 2 came Monday just as I was told. I do not have them down yet but they look exactly like the picture. I will not hesitate to order from them again. Thank-you rugs.com
Answer: Impossible to return! They don't provide a return lable you have to call. I called twice staying on hold 20min and again for over 40 min before I hung up. Tried email twice, still here with no response after 3 weeks! Stay away from them!
Answer: eSaleRugs.com sells the rugs that I purchased from Rugs.com for much less money and they were delivered even faster. I will not be doing business with Rugs.com anymore due to inability to contact customer service unless you hang on the phone on hold for more than an hour. Rugs.com has lost another loyal customer.
Answer: Please may I have your email used when you made the purchase or order ID I will locate your order.

Answer: Hello Mary! Our apologies for the delayed response (we don't get many inquiries on this platform). Typically the rug will lay flat within 1-2 weeks on it's own, however if you would like to hasten this process, we recommend the following these 4 steps: Step 1 Try back-rolling the carpet. To do so, unroll the carpet and then roll it again, this time rolling it in the opposite direction. Let the rolled carpet sit for a day or two and then unroll it again. Step 2 Place a piece of furniture or a stack of heavy books on the creases for a few days to flatten them out using weight. If the corners of the rug are curling, curl them backward, flatten them back out and place weights in just the corners of the rug. Step 3 If your rug still won't lie flat, apply some heat to it. Spread the rug over a clean concrete or asphalt slab such as your driveway on a sunny day. It's best to do this in the afternoon on a warm day, giving the surface time to absorb the sun's heat all morning. Usually, one or two hours in the sun is enough to release wrinkles and creases. If you don't have a large enough patch of sun, flip the rug over and use a hair dryer to heat up the creases of the rug and release them. Always hold the hair dryer 6 to 9 inches away from the rug and use a sweeping motion. It's possible to melt rug fibers, so use a low or medium heat setting and keep the hair dryer moving back and forth at all times. Step 4 Tape it down. Double-sided carpet tape is available in furniture and home improvement stores. Apply this tape to the back of your rug; then remove the paper covering the adhesive and smooth the rug over the floor. Press the tape down firmly, smoothing it as you go. Carpet tape works on hard floors and on existing wall-to-wall carpet, holding your rug in place to flatten existing creases and eliminate new ones.
