Dog owners do well with washable "outdoor" rugs indoors. "Natural" materials don't do well with frequent washing, etc. Rugs.com has good selection of polypropylene rugs including Sissal-Look polypropylene.

Very good, found exactly the rug I was looking for and went a size up which was a bonus.
This is my 2nd time finding rugs that reflect my sense of style, a hot pink Oriental for my Bohemian room, and this time a fun blue blend for my room containing a huge heavy 7 ft long black grand piano, ugh! In both environs, my goal was to lighten the room and invite a sense of playfulness.
