Ross Simons makes it easy. I get on the website, look up 18k gold earrings and tell the wife to pick what she likes for her birthday and then I order and it quickly arrives a week later. She's happy and I'm not dealing with the stress of going to the mall and looking and hoping to find something she likes because 18k gold earrings can be limited in availability, but she has to have 18k gold earrings. Anything less and her ears itch and burn.
I needed to return an item. I was required to call customer service for a reference number and they do NOT provide you with a mailing label. You have to pay for the return postage. They give you a tiny little label to fill out and it is so confusing that the USPS sent the return BACK to me rather than to Ross Simmons.

Difficult to find specific items. New customer sign-up, took MANY mails before I got coupon code. Not impressed with that aspect. As far as the necklace itself goes-- I was greatly disappointed in it. I absolutely loved the necklace as pictured. When I took it from the box, the chain looked like it would break easily. It was thin. And the clasp did not sit nicely on the neck as shown in the picture. The weight and configuration of the clasp made it fall into a "V" that didn't really highlight the clasp itself, which was the whole point of this necklace! I returned it, sadly, but it just didn;t seem to me that it was worth the money and it didn't have the look that I wanted.

I love the look of my 14K gold, 20-inch necklace. However, I am finding that utilizing the lobster-claw clasp is extremely difficult. It's hard to get a purchase on the tiny "lever" in order to apply enough pressure with thumb pad or fingernail (latter is not advised, as I put a dent in my fingernail when trying this) to get the opening of the lobster-claw large enough to insert the loop on the other end of the necklace. Do you have any advise/tips?

Was excited to find a solid gold ring at such a great price! Turns out the ring is more thin than paper and looks very strange sitting on your finger unless you were to buy it 2-3x the size you need. Disappointed!
