I bought a beautiful multicolored necklace for $125 from Ross Simons a few years ago and the necklace broke which was my fault and CS said no problem we will send you a return label and was super nice. I sent it in and they fixed it no problem at all. They did fix it with a different material which was some type of thin wire and the wire started fraying and poking me in the side of my neck so I called customer service and they were very polite and told me to send it in and there would be no charge to fix it and I said well I would at least like to pay for the shipping after it's fixed and the representative told me not to worry about it, so I sent it in and a few weeks later I got an email from somebody in repairs and they said it would be $59 so I said right now I'm dealing with serious health problems so please just send it back and I will gladly pay for shipping. I got an email saying "We will be happy to send back the unrepaired necklace immediately" about a week later I received my broken necklace with a repair order that stated the customer doesn't want it fixed because of health issues.To me just saying unrepared would have been suffice but they just had to add insult to the injury. That was in poor taste, IMO.
