I just came to look a little for future reference at the moment. The search process seemed a little awkward at first but eventually I got used to it. I didn't spend a lot of time because I was just testing the waters at the moment.

Roomies will ban your account for no reason. I have subscribed 3 times and verified with a legit phone number and immediately get banned. I am doing nothing wrong but messaging prospective roommates and follow all the rules. Message tech, get zero support. I guess this is a way of them hoping youll pay in order to use their site

Absolutely do not pay. Its supposed to be free but whats the point if you get banned for no reason.

The website is straightforward to use and facilitates communication between potential roommates. The user interface is friendly and the information displayed is concise.

Easy to use. Found one of my great roommates here. The platform helps to connect potential roommates as well as renters.

Just the simple fact that this website is free to post a room and have the option to add other features for a minor cost is great!

This home is located in Conyers. The lady in charge has issues and a lot of rules. You can't have guest but once a week. They're cameras all over the place except in your room and bathroom. She watches and monitors your every move 24/7. Parking is terrible because you basically park on the side of a hill and there in no sufficient space if you have a big truck. You can't really use the washer and dryer if you have large loads and have limited space in the fridge. You can't use her oven or stove.

Was skeptical of Roomies, but it really weird. Found a great space in a safe neighborhood and Roomies made it easy and convenient. Whether really fast too!

I'm 74 years old and I cannot figure out how to use this site. I need to be out of here by March 31st.

Twice now I have found the place of my dreams using Roomies. And get this. Each time it gets better and better.

This site is not well maintained. Most of the listings are no longer available. It is very frustrating to try to use these listings.

I was going to rent a room. The person request an $850 to hold the room after I decided it wasn't a good fit the person became extremely rude, and refuse to return my funds. I am now in the process of filing a lawsuit for my money and additional fees

You need to make a subscription to view messages - I think it's $12 one time and $30 monthly ongoing.
Regardless of that I was scammed on the very first offer.
Other offers were presented in misleading manner.
Stay careful or stay away!

I have used Roomies twice successfully. I get good responses on the site. However there are scammers on the site using fake identities.

Roomies was helpful but can improve in some ways:
- Allow users to select multiple filters in a category (ex. Be able to select both females preferred and anyone welcome)
- Option to delete listing / search for roommate without deleting profile, I think this can be a cause of people not responding which can be very frustrating
- Option to share videos/pictures in the chat to see room or share other info that is shared better visually
- Option to create groupchats on roomies

I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and overall quality of the site. The design was user-friendly, making it easy to search for potential roommates and connect with them through the platform.

Literally tried everything to find two roommates: Facebook, College Site, Craigslist, Couchsurfer, word of mouth, and nothing worked to find the roommate I was looking for (young woman about my same age). Two weeks on Roomies and I have two amazing roommates!
