Poor quality Clothing

What a headache it has been. I didn't do my research. Order some clothing, a couple of dresses and tops. You think you would get what you pay for and of high quality clothing or of something close to what was advertised from the description and the model photo. Quality was so poor that it is not wearable. Material so thin, colour and print so far from the description, cut + design, workmanship; all of very very very poor quality. Coming from Asia myself i know what some of the homeland clothing can be like and was mindful of this. This was that, a backyard job or work of someone who is just learning to sew. Material is so bad that i can not even explain except it is so thin and i wouldn't even wear it as PJs. Would like a refund and ROMWE to be responsible for their quality control and take ownership of the transaction, paying for the return shipping as it is their fault. This company is so dodgy and since unable to resolve have had to get VISA to follow it up. Think twice before purchasing anything form ROMWE or better yet don't put yourself through the headache i am and many others are experiencing and going through

My sister and cousin both ordered from Romwe and what they received were in great condition. I read reviews and they weren't that good. I decided to take the risk and order from them anyways. I ordered a top, a pair of shorts, and a bathing suit. The top and shorts fit great on me but the bathing suit was POORLY made and it came all messed up. It's so messed up to the point where it looks nothing like the picture and now I can't even wear it. It's a bathing suit bottom that cross cross on your stomach but material was seen on backwards so it looks bad. Not to mention that you can't even return bathing suits so BE CAREFUL! My sister's bathing suit on the other hand came out really cute. The clothing is made out of cheap material and for the price that you get the clothes at, it's really no surprise so really you get what you paid for. I'm disappointed the bathing suit came out so bad, now I don't know what I'm going to do with it. If you'd like, take the risk but I suggest not ordering bathing suits from here. I'm solely rating it a 3 based on the fact that it came pretty quickly and 2 out of the 3 items I ordered came in good condition.

I've always been put off by the unrealistic low prices because i've been ripped off from dodgy websites before. I read a chunck of reviews before purchasing online. I really don't know why there's so many 1 star reviews. Not sure what shipping is like to other locations. I live on the gold coast in australia and my items legit arrived within 7 days - i ended up buying more items a few days later, and they're due to arrive today, just 6 days after ordering? Plus the quality of the clothes is fine! (i'm starting to think that all clothes in australia are just poor quality and this is what i'm used to ahha? I'm just confused why everyones saying the quality is crap? Everything i got is fine, and fits perfectly) i am a small build, size 8 aus. So I think maybe it's better suited to people my size? I noticed that a lot of the sizing varied by just 1 or 2 cm? Pretty sure everything i ordered fits fine. I legit don't think i'll use another website again (unless i want something pretty good quality like a fancy dress for the races or whatever) but yep i'm really happy with what i ordered. Ps. You can track the parcel right away online? It tells you when it's leaving the warehouse and when it's nearby?

I had a good experience.

I saw Romwe on facebook. The clothes were cheap & cute. I looked up reviews to see if the site was legit, and saw a lot of people saying mostly two things:
- Shipping was awful
- The clothes were too small.
I decided to take a chance, and my first order was 5 items (three dresses & two blouses). The total was about $50 after discounts & fees (Shipping was free). I ordered everything in a LARGE (I am generally a medium/small).

The package came in about a week and a half. Two of the dresses are SO CUTE and fit very well. The third dress is a little short. The two blouses are very cute and fit very well. Since I had a positive experience, I decided to order again.

My second order was ten items (Two dresses, a kimono, shorts, skirt, 5 blouses). Again, everything in a LARGE. The total was $75.

One of the dresses is just darling. I love it soo much, gerat quality and fits very well. The other dress fits well, but is a little bunched up around the cinch. The kimono is super cute. I absolutely love the shorts.
Out of the blouses, i LOVE 2 of them. Two of them are cute, and one just looks odd on me. Everything looked like the photos, albeit you can see that it's not made exactly to match.

So, out of my 15 items, I'm displeased with two. They both looked like the photos, but they just fit me strangely. I would order from them again.

Quality: Every article of clothing that arrived had a strong toxic chemical smell, but it wore off after a wash in the laundry. The quality and material of most the tees I ordered wasn't the best, and you could tell it was cheaply made, but it was decent for the extremely affordable price. Most of the sweatshirts/sweaters I ordered, however, were unexpectedly thick and were pretty good quality, and the jeans/jean shorts had nice quality as well.

Resemblance to picture: Everything resembled or looked exactly the picture, but some of the items had an unflattering fit, which is expected for the cheap price. However, all the sizes of the items corresponded to the sizing charts and fitted.

Shipping: The shipping was fast and came on time, but the processing took slightly longer than expected. I ordered with express shipping (which was free because my order exceeded a specific price). It took 10 business days to process (even though the website says its usually 7 maximum) and a week to deliver.

Costumer Service: Good customer service. Both times I contacted costumer service using the online chat, they responded pretty quickly. The employees handling my situation were polite as well as helpful.

This site was advertised on facebook, it was a week before payday and I had a few bob burning a hole in my pocket, I ordered 2 items (a 'denim' jacket with grey gillet inner and a black knitted oversized jumper). Both ordered in 2 sizes too big as I read previous reviews mentioning of the small sizes due to them being made in china. No word of a lie, they both came within 14 days and that was fab! But the issue is that not only are the sizes nothing at all as they are listed but the clothing itself doesn't have a resemblance to the photos on their website. Neither fit regardless of me ordering 2 sizes larger than I needed, the sleeves are very short and considering they should have both been extra large my 13 year old cousin found difficulty in fitting into them also.
As my title says, they are cheap for a reason and I would not recommend these to anyone as it is false advertisement! Their returns system is a farce and I couldn't send them back even if I wanted to. There wasn't even a receipt inside the parcel!

An edit to what i posted before, Romwe is helping me so I can receive my package And I will not have to pay a fee that I dont really have to pay. I havent received it yet but when I do I will review on the quality of the products. However I am satisfied on how fast they reach out to their customers to better the experience. Just give them a chance and be patient. They are willing to help.

I have always been a customer at Romwe but at the 3rd purchase they apparently put the wrong address therefore can't ship it, i contacted customer service via chat, and agent said "how about you pay $3.99" so they can get it from FedEx and send it to the right address. Wow! Talk about bad customer service. The agent seems to be blaming me for providing them with the wrong address when in fact this has been my 3rd order and i did put the right address or else i wouldn't receive my first order nor the second. I also contacted both shipping companies both FedEx and USPS and they both told me that apartment number is not listed on the shipping label. I told this and the agent kept pushing me to pay $3.99 because she said I won't receive my order unless I do so. Another thing is that in this one order of mine, they choose to put it in two separate shipping and every time i check the shipping status of the second one, it just says shipping label created and it has been like this for four days now. Never again romwe. Never again. And I thought they are a good company. After 2 purchases and tons of recommendations to my friends this is what I got. Hays.

I feel bad for every one who has had issues with Romwe, because this is the second time ordering from them and I have not been disappointed at all yet. I was wary of them at first too because of all the bad reviews, but I saw a couple youtubers who bought from them and were pleased, so I gave them a chance and i'm glad I did. I hope people aren't just exaggerating to get free things, because i've honestly had great service from them so far. In fact when I ordered clothes from them this past time I only paid for standard shipping, but I received them as priority 2 day mail. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or if they were being really nice, but either way i've been quite happy with their service. Asian sizes do tend run small for most people, so sometimes you do have to buy a bigger size than you initially expect, at least for pants and shoes in my case. I think the style of clothes they sell are absolutely adorable, so i'm really glad that I gave them a chance. If you're worried about sizes then i'd suggest not splurging, only buy a few items the first time you shop with them, just in case, so you know how the sizes work for you. I think they're great! I hope they get a wider accumulation of good reviews.

It's been over a month since ordering the tracking information says it has been Recived by Royal Mail and it has not. I'm sure this is a scam I spent over £100 and have not gotten a single item DO NOT USE if I had a no star option I would use that!

I haven't even gotten my clothes yet and this whole thing has been a let down. I ordered on the 17th. And obviously I didn't expect to be getting it right away, but every time I check the estimated shipping time IT CHANGES. I mean what's the point of having that if every day that it says it could ship, it moves back a day again. This has been going on for almost a week or longer for me. I started searching other people's reviews and experiences with the shipping and they don't really expand on that. I tried emailing multiple emails I found for them, and have been for about a week. And not once have I gotten a response. I understand things can take awhile to ship. But when your estimated time keeps changing every day it gets frustrating. So by this experience I can't say I expect a lot from the clothes themselves. And I wouldn't even be this mad if they took 2 minutes to just rapini to me. Even if they aren't 100% sure. At least I'd know something happening and not that I'm never getting my clothes. Because right now that's a little what it looks like.

I bought a product which is completely different from the picture. Asked how to proceed to send it back and have a refund and I must say that I'm still chocked that I HAVE TO PAY TO SEND IT BACK. Ridiculous! First and last time ordering from this company. It's possible to buy good items from thousands good websites with prices as good as there. I don't recommend it to anyone who appreciates a good service.

I ordered 4 things from Romwe. A crop top, some skinny jeans, a plaid fall jacket, and some chunky heeled boots. Let's start with the top. The crop top is the only thing that is pretty good quality and looks like the picture. Nice material, showed up looking as expected. The skinny jeans, well you can't even call them jeans. They are more like a stretchy jegging type material, they are short and do not reach my ankles and very small and tight despite the fact that I ordered a large for my medium sized body. When I took them out of the package I doubted they could fit on a five year old child, but they stretched enough to fit over my legs at least. The jacket did not look like the picture. Yes it was plaid but not the design I fell for. There was no lining inside, it was very cheaply made, not good quality at all. What is the point of sewing in pocket flaps if the pockets are going to be sewn up and deemed unusable!? I havent yet recieved my shoes but from the quality of my first few items, i dont have high hopes. I've read enough reviews that I am not going to try to deal with customer service, no way I'm paying more money to ship it back to them. The quality is just good enough i could probably sell them to a local thrift shop for $10 a piece, if I'm even that lucky. Sadly I've already accepted I won't be getting my $130 back for the order. So dissapointed. I'll be deleting the app and sticking to my Forever 21 and electro threads shopping instead. Consider yourself warned.

DO NOT BOTHER

I'm so disappointed I fell for buying products off this site. The shipping was no problem for me, I was prepared to wait however when my items did come, they were of the WORST QUALITY. I bought one pair of pants, 2 work shirts and 2 jumpers. The two jumpers i have NEVER felt anything more thin and 'plastic' feeling in my life, just absolutely horrible. The two shirts had stringy bits/thread from the hem of the shirts just coming apart all over the place. Everything was just of such bad qaulity, although cheap, I wouldn't even buy these products for $1! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I can't even return these items because I know it will cost more for postage to send them back to them than the products and there isn't even a return form slip or anything grrrrrr

Waste of Money!

As you can see the dress on the model is not see through in any way shape or form, however the dress I got in the mail was completely see through. They used a cheaper material than what's in the picture. I am quite disappointed. I will not buy from them again.

P.s. They wrote to me asking for me to remove my review and in return they will give me 50% on my next purchase. NO ROMWE I WILL NOT HELP YOU LIE TO OTHER PEOPLE JUST SO YOU CAN MAKE MONEY! I DO NOT WANT YOUR DISCOUNTS LIKE HOW YOU WANT MY MONEY. I WILL DONATE WHAT I SPENT ON THAT PIECE OF CRAP FABRIC YOU SENT ME. AND NO DO NOT BLAME IT ON THE PIXELS. I was a bit worried with some mixed reviews when I was first ordering from ROMWE, but couldn't resist from ordering as i really fell in love with the products and I was pleasantly surprised when I went ahead with my order. Very easy to Order and after i received the product I should mention that it was packed properly, overall prompt service.

I ordered a Faux Mohair Dark-blue Jumper and it was exactly the same that was shown in the website, I am really happy with the fitting, stitching and the quality.

I will definitely order from ROMWE again. I RECOMMEND ROMWE to all of you, give it a try.

Not too impressed

I ordered 3 items from romwe about a week ago, 2 cardigans and a shirt. The deal that was offered me was that I had spent enough money i could get regular shipping for free, fair enough. I was suprised today to receive the items at my door but not happy when I was told by the delivery person that I had to pay a 25$ customs fee (that is more than some of the items I ordered) that upon closer inspection, included the "free shipping" that I was given. I am not sure if they maybe charged me for faster shipping because it arrived in a week but I would have rather waited a bit longer than had to pay the 25$ that really isnt in my budget right now. The items are pretty much the same as what was shown in the pictures though the measurements are a little bit off (and yes I measured myself before purchasing). The material quality is good, the sewing could be better on some items but the clothing itself is almost what I ordered. Overall I am satisfied with the items I received though i am very angry about the extra unadvertised fees, so unfortunatly I will not be purchasing from romwe again.

Awful company, after taking over 3 weeks to receive the items.
I finally received my cardigans which in fact turned out to be jumpers.
They were the same items of clothing but they were badly stitched all the way up the middle.
I have been toing and froing with the awful romwe customer service staff and they advised they can only give me a coupon even though I spent £70 on their site and I also incurred further costs as I had to order more clothes elsewhere as the ones they sent were not wearable.
I have received terrible replies from them they even told me to list the products on ebay!
They said the only refund they could give me was 25%! I am of course argueing with them if they respond to me.
I also left a review on Romwe when I first received the items and they wrote on the review they will give me a full refund and now they have decided they do not want to do this.
I have sent them images of the clothing twice yes it still makes no difference.
Please do not use this company you will be scammed!

I ordered some things on the 20th that all said "ships in 24 hours." This items were for a specific trip that I'd be taking in 6 days so I assumed there was a good chance of the items arriving on time. A couple of days before the trip I sent a message inquiring on the status of my order since it was still in the "processing" phase after more than 24 hours, and was told that items sometimes take 5-7 days to ship, would I like to cancel my order? I responded no, that I would still like to have it shipped and I would just wait. The next day I again received a message asking if I still wanted to keep my order because they were not sure how long it was going to take (isn't it the goal of most businesses to make money, not return it?!) I, again, responded that I still wanted the items. And today, 9 days total since I placed my order, my item is no closer to arriving than it was the day I ordered it. It's simply misadertisment to state that something will ship in 24 hours if they have no intention of even beginning the process of shipment for over a week and a half. I saw many reviews stating this same problem before I made my order, and should have taken them more seriously. Would never use again
