Rocket Lawyer automatically charged my checking account just under $300 to renew a generally worthless membership. Not realizing that they would automatically renew, I downgraded my account immediately and requested a refund. After the first e-mail, I received a response saying that I needed to direct my complaint to a refund-specific address, which I then did. Four additional e-mails and two and a half weeks later, I have still not received any response.
I am not normally one to complain, and if there was a mistake made on my part to cause the automatic withdrawal I would certainly have accepted that and dealt with it. However, they have made absolutely no attempt to contact me or to resolve this issue. Absolutely poor.
This is also not the first time that I have received no response from Rocket Lawyer. Though they were generally useful in helping me form my first LLC, they completely ignored my questions regarding forming another. Of course, my current situation is a lot more frustrating, as they have $300 in charges that I anticipate having to dispute very soon.
It's been a very long time since I've spoken to a customer service representative who was this competent, polite, and cheerful...

Looking for a Rental agreement for a Florida property - Options came up quickly and creating the final document was easy and not time consuming - Got hung up on the signature portion of the process where I could not skip the fields after my signature as Landlord was done - Wanted to send doc as is but could not - ended up saving /printing and scanning on my own workstation - But Overall will use site again if needed

Can't imagine a worse, sneaky online experience. I was quickly charged two monthly fees of $39.99 for services I did not authorize.
When I called them Rosechelle was prompt at reversing the charges. Reversal MAY TAKE TEN BUSINESS DAYS.

If a free document is truly free one should not be FORCED to have an "upgraded" account when in fact one doesnt want an account at all. Thankfully I have an alert on my card for purchases otherwise this would be a backdoor way of scamming customers who are unaware of a ongoing monthly fee whether they use the service or not. The BBB needs to be notified.
