First, I don't write reviews often, but I wanted people to understand how BAD this company is to deal with. I would give them 0 stars! I picked out brakes that from entering make, model, year and sub categories. I received the brakes and they did not fit. They charged me over 80.00 to ship them to me and then over $40.00 to return them. They would not refund the money due to fact it was only a 30 day return. I never show this. Further there is NO phone support and NO way to email them from the site. We figured out how to create a ticket and they answered them. I had to dispute the purchase with my credit card company for my refund. Horrible Horrible company to deal with! NEVER AGAIN! Buyer please beware!
Absolute garbage. Purchased 4 tail lights. My certified German auto mechanic verified they were the correct ones before I placed my order. They fit, but only the turn signal and brake lights worked, no parking lights or rear tail lights at night on the highway with my 16 month old daughter. $25 to have them shipped, $55 for my mechanics 30 minutes and another $45 to return them via rock autos "discounted shipping label" where they give you a label, but deduct $45 from your return. So that put me out $125. There is no customer service online or chat feature on their website. Don't waste your time, they absolutely suck. I will spread the word and never purchase from them again
If you are lucky, Rock will send the part that fits & you will save a couple bucks. Then they won't & it's impossible to get satisfaction. I sent 2 identical wrong parts back, labeled with order # and with letter of explanation. Only ever got credit for one. Those "couple buck" savings disappeared when they stole $60. From me.
I have used rock auto for many many years, but recently I am finding false advertising. My most recent purchase of an exhaust kit shows a FULL exhaust in its description. Well, when you get the kit you find out, it doesn't come with converters, sensors and missing hardware. I will NEVER be using them again. This was a lie that cost me hundreds of dollars.
Rock auto used to be a great company. Unfortunately their customer service has really gone downhill. Now they don't even want you to call or email them. Can't contact and ask questions. Prices are OK but a lot of times you can find similar on Amazon, local, eBay or wherever if you look hard enough.
Their automated system is total garbage, wrong part and system does everything to avoid mentioning it must be their error, I am done ordering from this place after 4 incorrect orders. I've spent thousands though them and must have got lucky on a lot of stuff, in Canada can't always get parts for classics cars but will sure look everywhere else first. No human customer service for a reason just to rip people off!
Prices are fantastic. Shipping cost for basic shipping is cheap and generally arrives within 2 - 5 days. All my parts have been good.
The exact same wheel hub was 35$ on sale or 60$.
At Autozone it cost 120$
Order delivered at wrong address. FedEx is investigating and assure us that we are right. The delivery truck's gps verified this. In the meantime. RockAuto closed my claim number and blocked me. Not nice.
Rockauto use to be my go to site but they've gone downhill in the past 6 years. Maybe if they offered shipping through UPS, they'll return to relevancy. Their main issue is their partnership with FedEx who's known for losing parts and not delivering on time. Also, invest in warehouses that stock parts and don't take 2 days to ship.
I ordered a st of control arms w ball joint and a bearing, it never arrived. Filed a claim and they say it was delivered. Yet if you look at picture. It's clearly not my home. Ripped me off. I don't recommend them for nothing. Customer service is also a joke. DPollard
Hi cuys, I ordered ball joints from Rock Auto and after two weeks delivery time finally got joints which do not fit to my Bird. Totally wrong measures. Now RockAuto is asking me to split what I paid. I asked phone number to call and discuss, then they closed the whole case. I cannot understand that kind of business attitude! Please be careful if you are going to order something from Rock Auto! #rockauto.
On12/11 ordered grill guard for Chevy truck it arrived after dark, Carrier under time constraints does not allow for time to properly open and inspect large package like this. Took to shop for install was for ford. Returned got refund (good). Reordered, got correct one but damaged. Plus cost double for install labor b/c done twice. Picture shows damage. Do not want to have removed b/c of labor costs have already spent over $300 just for installation. Due to physical condition cannot install myself. Will be looking elsewhere for a new supplier in the future.
I have had the company send wrong parts on multiple occasions and getting in touch with them is almost impossible. Not only that, they want to charge you a return fee or only give a partial refund. The last straw for me, that I am currently dealing with, I ordered about $600 in parts for a customers vehicle. I had to delay here vehicle getting fixed because the parts never arrived and now rockauto wants me to wait over 10 days so they can contact the carrier before they will give me a refund. If they had a number I could call and tell them I've already done that and the carrier has said it is lost and to contact them. So now I had to spend additional money to get this part for the customer and I still don't know if I will get the full refund back from rockauto because they seem to almost be boarder line of a scam, almost like ordering something from China. You never know what you are going to get.

Last time I order from this place. Had no issues with 3 previous orders, but this one has gone completely wrong. Company took a few days to respond with "for some reason the order didn't ship". Seriously? Terrible support. Refused to upgrade shipping even though this was 100% their issue.
Had to ask for replacement parts and now have no clue when or if any parts will arrive.
I use to order from here all the time before they absolutely ripped me off on my store credit. Gave me a code that never worked. Nearly impossible to talk to anyone for help. Don't recommend. Try Parts King!
Bought 2 wiper arms for a car as they were getting worse for wear. I got the shipment pretty fast, but after inspecting them they used ones a customer must have returned and it wasn't inspected at the warehouse. I tried to setup a return but that was a hassle, and there is no way to get customer support. Then you read the reviews and find out their returns are full of issues as well. I just kept them and am dealing with being charged a fortune for used goods that look maybe 20% better than what I was replacing. Lesson learned about rock auto.
Ordered some new parts for my '93 LeBaron on 06/21/22 (Tuesday). I needed the parts in a more hurried fashion, so I chose an option described as 2 day shipping at $50 extra. Turned a $60 order into a $110+ order, but whatever, new parts quicker!…OR, so I thought. Ended up receiving the parts on 6/28/22 (Tuesday), 7 entire days later, 5 being business days. Wish I could get reimbursed with at LEAST some store credit - but RockAuto's customer support is non existent! It quite literally does not exist - no support line, nothing! Will not be back.
Sent me the wrong parts. Shipped it back, never received the new parts. Contact "customer service" that can only be reached through their email, who didn't anything or any effort to correct my issue. Won't be fool again.
Ordered a set of heads and returned the cores but evidently the warehouse can't find them and I'm not getting a refund- Oh yeah, There is also absolutely no one you can call about problems.
