Ordered 4 shocks 4 rotors and pads and some filters. Not a single part matched what I ordered. They were all the wrong parts in the right boxes. Went to return and they want me to pay return shipping which adds up to roughly $100. I paid shipping to get them and this is their mistake but of course there is no customer service so nobody to call. They also say on their website they have to inspect the part before they will issue a refund. So if they decide not to refund apparently that is okay. I wouldn't trust this company.

I returned a part that I didn't need. Returned the part as said in the policy but they wanted to keep my money. Once I opened a complaint about my money they refused to sell me anymore parts. So I'm filling a complaint with the BBB about this company and situation. Be safe with these people because they will try and bullie you out your money.
I was skeptical at first reading all the bad reviews … but I ordered 2 complete struts and a new mirror assembly for my 2012 Dodge Charger. They are now installed all parts were accounted for. Only flaw I do have is paying extra for next day shipping at 10 am on Friday and it didn't come until Monday. I thought I would get it on Saturday. But I'm over all satisfied saved me a a couple hundred dollars or so. So satisfied I created an account so I will be a returning customer
I ordered a front end kit for my Honda Accord 2.4l. The kit had 8 components to it. Upper and Lower Control Arms for each side, Inner and Outer Tie Rods for each side, Also upper ball joints were in the kit, but were not needed because all ball joints are already compressed in the upper and lower control arms. The inner tie rods, and the upper control arms are for a Honda Accord 3.0l and do not fit my Accord 2.4l. That is half the components in the kit that do not fit, or are not needed. When receiving the kit, I checked to see if the lower control arm was a match, it was, so the rest of the kit should match all parts for car. Found out on November 20th when the work was done that the 1/2th the kit parts did not all match, Rock auto will not refund, or replace wrong parts in the kit because they were not sent back by the 11th. Kit arrived third week of October. How can anyone order parts from this company after reading this? See photo also.
This place is a rip off they sent me the wrong part and then charge me to return it and ask me if I want to buy another part from them. Why so they can send me the wrong part again and charge for more return shipping. Buyers I warn you not to buy from them, They ship the wrong part and will not fit, Unless you pay for return shipping they will not exchange it or refund it and all parts are from overseas. On the RockAuto site it says my delivery was shipped on the 14th of November it is now the 20th of November in my shipment should have been here by now at $11 shipping cost this is ridiculous $134 and I still do not have my product.
I am a repeat customer and I ordered almost $300 worth of parts and I paid $86.98 for next day express delivery. That was 2 days ago and I still haven't received my parts. I sent 5 emails about me paying extra money ey fir next day service and was told all 5 times by 5 different people it's no guarantee I'll get it next day. Why have the option and take people money if it's a lie? I could've just waited fir regular delivery. They won't even refund half my shipping cost. I will not order again!
Ordered 2 catalytic converters not only were they welded terribly and crooked but they were also 2 different catalytic converters! Terrible service! Was sent back they received it 3 days again and I still haven't got my refund! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

I purchased rear shock absorbers for my 2008 Chevy Cobalt 2.2L 4 cyl. An option offered was FCS part number *******, Rock Auto Order number *******. I purchased the 2 shocks. During installation I realized the upper shock would not fit. The top of the shock was 1/4 inch wider than the correctly dimensioned shocks for my car. Since I purchased the shocks 38 days ago, 8 days after the 30 day return policy this one is my loss. Recommending incorrect parts, Rock Auto's fault. If it happens again my fault from making another purchase. That will not happen.
Never again. Radiator had a very small crack, No way it could be detected in initial inspection. It became obvious once installed a nd vehicle was warming up. 65 days to review claim. Like I said, NEVER AGAIN. $750.00 down the drain.

I used to like RockAuto.com a few years ago. I recently changed my mind when I tried to order a drive belt tensioner and two other pulleys. Simple order. They claimed the order was filled and shipped and should arrive within two days. When the order did not arrive, I thought, okay, let me just see if there was a problem or if it is just going to take a couple more days. There is no one you can call to find out anything about your missing shipment. I say "missing" because after waiting on the phone for 45 minutes to speak to a FedEx rep, all she could say is that the tracking number does not show up in their system because the shipper did not give it to their driver for pick up. I needed to repair my truck so I went and bought the parts at a local store for about $10 more and decided to cancel the order. They will not allow cancellation because they claim the order already shipped even though they cannot prove it. I have worked in a warehouse for years and it is not hard to trace the order and show whether or not a FedEx driver scanned the shipping label when a "shipped" item was picked up. The problem is that they don't care about the customer.
I ordered on November 1st and received my parts November 4th. Amazing service considering it came from new Jersey and crossed the border to Canada all the way to Vancouver Island! And it was the right part!
Purchased an alternator yesterday for my Crown Vic it worked fine for about 1 1/2 weeks then my battery wouldn't stay charged. I checked the voltage and it was only putting out 11.5 volts. I Returned it and only got the core charge back. They need to have a phone number to call. Will never recommend this place to anyone. I don't have any pictures. It also sat in ocala Florida for 3 days before it was delivered
You can't call them. I have an order that they claim they shipped, but fedex claims they haven't received the shipment. In the meantime, my car is unusable.
Bought a part for my car and had to return it. Got charged for both the shipping to but also the shipping back to them. The part, according to their website, was the only model available for my car but also said the car part was the right one. Unboxed the part, saw that is was not compatible, and put in back in the box to ship back. This entire process cost me $21.00 and I have nothing to show for it. Such as rip off.
I will never use RockAuto again. I've ordered three different parts from them in two orders. First order never arrived - even though the address was correct. I shipped a gas tank and fuel float indicator to my mechanic. He had his address featured prominently on his building and on the bill board next to his location. I was charged and never refunded.
