The lens was in the condition described on the website. It was delivered promptly, and it works perfectly. This is the second time I have ordered used gear from Roberts Camera and it's the second time I have been blown away by the service. My order arrived quickly, within two days, free of any shipping charge, packaged properly in a highly cushioned box. I open it and the lens I ordered was spotlessly clean, works like new and looks practically new. I can now say, after two orders, that I have full confidence in your rating system. "Excellent" truly means Excellent. If it were not for one tiny scratch on the black paint of this hard-to-find 50mm f/1.2 Nikkor lens, it would be hard to distinguish from a brand new product! Top that off with the price -- $25 to $50 lower than anyone else's -- and I am a happy camper.
I've been wanting to get into medium format for a while. Pentax 645 was on my radar and I missed out on a camera body on UsedPhotoPro recently. I purchased the Nikon D3 with approx 9k shutter count for about $600. It is in mint condition. Hell Yezz! Very pleased with their customer service... there is not enough room to talk about how helpful they were. To keep in short, I saw it [n ebay and was advise via email that I might want to buy direct from their site for further savings... who does that? Awesome
Was looking for the fairly new Tamron 45, f/1.8 in a Nikon mount. They had it rated Ex, for a decent price. Then they had an extra 10% off for their birthday. What a deal. I would rate the lens a Ex+ maybe even mint. Works great on my Nikon D810 - steady handheld shots at 1/4 second. Can you believe it?
Camera is in good shape at a nice price. Seals and mirror bumper foam required replacement, which is to be expected at the price point listing, so that service I performed when received. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase from Roberts. The condition of both the Nikon D750 and 50mm 1.8g lens were under rated in my opinion. The camera body was very clean and works perfectly, and the lens was spotless like it was never used. The only thing I could be even slightly negative about is the battery that came with the camera doesn't charge fully and last for maybe 100 clicks. But that isn't their fault. So overall the purchase experience was super simple and items were accurately graded and shipping was really quick.
I received my camera, which is in very good condition externally, bought a new lens for it and everything only to find out it will not turn on with the battery it came with. I recharged it and still nothing. I ordered a new battery and hopefully that is the problem. Otherwise I will be returning.

The flash is great. It was 2 days late due to FedEx no customer, 2 day delivery was 4 days I drove 45 min to get it from fed ex shipping center. Not your fault though. Look fiorward to buying lenses from you.
I was told by Indianapolis locals that Robert's Camera is well-respected. I ordered a camera and lens from them. The site is excellent, the price was good, and the order came as promised. I would definitely do business with them again, and probably will.
I bought a used Sigma 170/500mm lens online from Roberts. By my own mistake I ordered the wrong lens. I assumed the lens was AF, it was not. I checked online and Robert's had the lens I actually wanted and should have bought. One call to Robert's customer service and they advised me to return the lens and I would get a full refund. Shipped the lens back and tracked it via USPS. Tracking showed the lens made it to Indianapolis but no verification of delivery. Another phone call to Robert's and they quickly verified that they had received the lens and the correct lens had been shipped out to me. Same day got a verification that my credit card account had been credited the original amount. The whole process was seamless, other than my original mistake. Will be buying from Robert's again in the future. PS: The new lens works fantastic.
I finally broke down and bought a Fuji 16mm f/1.4. It's not as if I needed another lens to cover the 16mm range - the 16-55mm f/2.8 does that in spades. Truth be told, the 18-55 kit lens does a fine job of being fairly wide and delivers great images. But I wanted to see for myself why so many people sing the praises of the 16mm f/1.4. Now that I've had it a short while and shot with it, I can understand. This lens has its own flavor, its own presence. It is crisper and seems to give my images more separation. This may sound a little silly but even closed down to f/2.8 and f/4, it produces images that pop more than my wonderful 16-55... I don't know how they did it but somehow, this 16 is almost magical. It is great fun to shoot with!

Roberts UsedPhotoPro is the best place I have found to purchase high quality used camera lenses. They are great, and I love it that they do not strip off the caps and hoods and try to sell them back to you the way some places do. Highly recommended.

My lens arrived quickly and was as described. Unfortunately, it did not fit my camera (my fault for not doing enough research) and the lens is on it's way back for a refund. I called customer service 2x and both times I was connected directly to a real person with no waiting. The lady was very friendly and helpful. I am looking for another used lens and will definitely order from Robertscamera if they have a suitable lens.

I bought the d300s on a youtube recommendation from 4 years ago and even though I could have bought the d7100 for the same money, I Have no regrets. This is a pro-grade crop sensor and very good, very fast and easy to use. I talked to Corey, Leah and one other person there and they were helpful and easy to work with on this purchase. My budget is tight but they didn't make me feel like I was wrong for buying an older style camera. They just wanted to help.
