Yes legit and good people to boot. When I got a unit that didn't work... they refunded... I actually ordered another identical unit from them before I got that refund... both used units... and the second one worked fine and they gave a total refund on the first one that did not.
Similar to above... got used strobe didn't work... they had another listed same unit I purchased it and complained about the first one... they refunded the price on the one that didn't work, and I got the 'next' one a few days later... and it works fine... and has their used warranty which as I recall is 180 days... better than anyone on eBay and at similar prices... with usually free shipping always in my experiences.
Price and inventory. I have a tendency to buy used when I can for $$ savings. They have a rotating stock, and often their prices are as good as eBay... and Roberts has a warranty which from private party on eBay you will not receive... and they stand behind that warranty. No brainer. You do have to visit their site to check inventory often as it changes with used gear.
