Was easy, straight forward, my car was carried on the bottom level. I noticed some chips in the paint and a small chip in the windshield. I did not think they were there before but I could not verify so I did not place a claim. Carry on top would probably have been better.

This company was great

This company was great. My car came from Boston to San Diego. The driver kept me well informed as to his location. My car came 7 days later as promised. I would highly recommend them. Don't forget to tip your driver too.

Received my car in good shape as for road runner themselves would not recommend them whenI first contracted with them gave them my address with zip code after agreeing on a price they backed out claiming they had the wrong town and charged me an additional 100.00 I paid because I wanted my car in one piece. The actual carrier was excellent but Road Runner was not

Setting everything up with Road Runner was easy. The rep I spoke to was very helpful. I did have an issue with the first company contracted to come pick up my vehicle. They were out of Miami, very unfriendly. Customer service fixed the issue and I was paired with a driver out of Coconut Creek, Fl. He was great! I am definitely transporting my other vehicle with Road Runner again.

So far, so good

So far, so good.
Everything went fine, the car ignition had a wire come off and it would not start... I used my golf cart to pull the car out with the help of the truck driver, a nice guy that was great he was a good communicator and helpful.

This is the 3rd time I have used Road Runner

This is the 3rd time I have used Road Runner. I am located in Australia. On my 3 times of utilizing the services of RR, my classic cars had to be taken 3/4 the way across the U.S - so each time, my car was on board a few days, not just a few miles town to town. Each time they were very co-operative & prompt in the dealings. The attitudes of the drivers were quite good as well. I will be using them again for my next. Mark.

Booking was very quick and easy

Booking was very quick and easy. A carrier was assigned the same day that I confirmed my booking. I did have to drive to a nearby Walmart parking lot to drop off my car and catch a Lyft ride home. I did not mind that too much since my street is very narrow and has a lot of trees and uphills. My car arrived in Northern Va from Oregon within 5 days. Overall, my experience was more positive than negative. (Note: the online tracking does not track your transport, so I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars).

Roadrunner offers a lower price for their transport services, what they do not tell you when they contract with you is that they then have to find a subcontractor who is willing to do the job for the price they quoted. This did not work out well for my company when we had two vehicles sitting at the Port of Long Beach in California, for almost a week, waiting to be picked up. $330 dollars in port fees was the result. We ended up using another firm to transport our vehicles. I was not pleased with the service from Roadrunner. They did not meet agreed upon pick up dates, and customer service was not helpful at all.

Slow, stuttering website where data has to be entered twice in the same space. The service was horrible. The vehicles were picked up a day and a half late. There were constant excuses about delays. The delays caused a two day delay in the owners departure. The cars had to be shuttled significant distances at both ends of the transport, to accommodate loading and unloading. The driver went to a different town to attempt loading and had to be racked down. Communication was abysmal. There were frequent calls, some unanswered, or with long holds, to Road Runner service. I had to tell Road Runner service, I would never use them again. I hesitated to even allow the driver to take my cars. Road Runner service was never able to tell me the cancellation cost. Even if it had been 10-20%, I would have cancelled and scheduled with another carrier.

Though the vehicle was received ahead of time at the destination, I was disappointed with the pick up timing. We were committed to having someone pick the car up before 5 PM, but the transport company did not arrive until 11 PM. And it wasn't the driver's fault...he was in Ft. Lauderdale when we were led to believe he was local...not very good transparency.

It went smoothly for the most part. Car was scheduled for a Monday pickup that actually occurred on a Thursday night. I had to call your company multiple times to determine if I still had an order and if so when I might hear from the transporter. It would be helpful to customers if a proactive approach was taken. I would suggest you contact customers to confirm the order 1 to 2 weeks in advance and then stay in touch with customers to set appropriate expectations. The driver was very helpful and polite. Thank you!

To start, I hardly ever write reviews (good or bad), but service from Road Runner was THE WORST! I initially booked a car shipment about 3 weeks prior to my desired pick up date on 5/17/2023. I spoke with the agent, Nick Raymundo, where he booked me with the reassurance that I would receive a booking well in advanced (about 1 week prior to desired date). 1 week leading up to the pick up date, I call again because carrier tracking is still "pending" meaning no one has confirmed pick up for my car yet. Up until THE DAY BEFORE my desired pick up date, A CARRIER STILL HAS NOT CONFIRMED MY CAR FOR PICK UP. I have had terrible customer service in attempting to contact both Nick as well as attempting to reach any other agent for help where I am placed on over a 30-40 minute hold. I was so stressed because I told Nick in previous calls that the latest pick up would have to be 5/18, because I will be on a flight to go back home the following day. I was unabIe to even cancel my booking in a timely manner because no one would answer their phone. I called Nick Raymundo twice with upsetting voice messages and not once did he call me back. When I finally got through to the general line, I was told by another agent (Luisa) after a 30 min hold that I won't get a confirmation of carrier assignment until the day of the shipment. LIKE WHAT?! This is completely unacceptable as I was never told that this would be the case and I am forced into this waiting game. I ended up going with Sherpa auto transport, where I had to make a last minute booking on 5/16, requesting them to get me a carrier to pick up my car between 5/16 to 5/18 at the latest. They were so knowledgeable and helped me through a stressful time that Road Runner caused me. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT CHOOSE ROAD RUNNER AUTO TRANSPORT UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRESSED OUT OF YOUR MIND. Terrible customer service service, their quotes are so low that no carrier wants to pick up your booking (which I was unaware of), they lie, are extremely unreliable, and do not care about their customers.

But didn't need any phone confirmation
I told them where to pick up the car and paid the fee, but Roadrunner kept calling for confirmation
That wasted a week in my opinion

All was well until time to receive my car
January 10, 2020

All was well until time to receive my car. The driver wanted to deliver it a day earlier than agreed. We settled on the agreed upon time but when that time arrived he asked me to come pick it up at a dealership instead of delivering it to my location. I did so. The car was in good shape but the final step of the process was aggravating.

Pick up and delivery of the vehicle was flawless. When there was a weather delay in the mid-west, the driver was calling us every day to keep us up to date with his progress. Moving the car from Seattle to Florida was executed perfectly, just wish the furniture would have been handled as well. RoadRunner is a team of professionals and I would recommend them for your vehicle shipping needs.

Online was fast and effective and clearly the best way to do business! I called the phone number listed and got a representative who lied to me about the price by adding an additional 300.00 to my potential reservation. I guess this is how he makes his money but as a customer I resent it. I booked completely online and got the price of the original quote!
However when I got the confirmation call the price increased by 200.00 so not completely upfront about the price.
I got my car delivered the evening before the promised date and picking up my car at night was a HUGE mistake on my part as I did not see all the damage done to my car during transport! Smooth move my Tony the driver. My car was in showroom condition 2020 and brand new. I received it with scrapes in the paint on the rear of the car and a dent in the driver side door I did not detect until a week later so I had no recourse in placing a claim.

The online ordering process was simple and quick. But I had a little trouble getting information. It was over a holiday weekend, so that might explain the breakdown in communication. But the entire transport went quickly and smoothly.

For the most part, I am happy with the service

For the most part, I am happy with the service. The only comment/criticism I would have is that it would have been nice to have more communication from either the driver or Roadrunner on the delivery status. I was having my car transported during inclement weather, so I knew delivery would be delayed. But I had to keep calling every day, and sometimes multiple times each day to find out when delivery was expected.

Vehicle was not picked up until 4 days after scheduled pick up even though there were other transports able to pick it up on time that were heading from California to florida but was told that I had to wait for a specific driver. This was unacceptable as it delayed my departure for Florida. Vehicle arrived on time and undamaged.

We had a great experience! The driver had some difficulty coming to our street with a turn so he unloaded on the major road about a block away from our house. It was the most horrible day outside so I really appreciated that he took the care he did!
