I love a great vintage look! I just ordered three 1920s inspired gowns for the roaring 2020s! I can not wait for them to come in the mail! I will definitely be back for the 1950s inspired dresses as well!
Ordered two dresses, one for a 20's party with stockings and headband, and a second from the 50's selection that was worn for Christmas. The dresses arrived fairly quickly (within the 15-day delivery date window) and survived the trip from China perfectly. The fabric is of better quality (thickness, feel, appearance) than the prices suggested. The construction quality is not great, but for the price it was much better than expected. The true surprise was that both fit without need of alterations right out of the box (or, plastic packing envelope to be literal). Unfortunately, the stockings and headband for the 20's dress got lost in transit. That said, customer service was prompt and satisfactorily resolved the problem. The negative reviews all seem focused on shipping issues. You just have to keep in mind that you are dealing with China, so there are shipping times and (for customer service) multiple time zones you have to take into account. My advice would be to order well in advance of the date you need the garment and, probably, to have a backup plan. But, as far as the products, this is actually a better deal than you would think.

I ordered a size L, when the dress came, it was a 3XL which was a size 18, way too big. They have offered me solutions to make the dress fit but will not refund or return the dress for a right size, even though they sent me the wrong size. Days and about 10 email later the most they will offer is $10 off the price I paid. NEVER BUY FROM THIS SITE. THEY DON'T HAVE A RETURN POLICY EVEN THOUGH IT IS LISTED ON THEIR SITE.
I love the 1920s red dress but i wish i had sized up. I was still able to make it work by making it a top and wearing black leggings.Other then the size issue i love the dress it came fast. No flaws that i could see. I would buy another dress from them, just have to remember to size up.
My body: 38F, size 14 and a butt (sir mix a lot would be proud) i ordered a XL i should have ordered a 2XL.
This dress was so beautiful! The only downside was the strings at the bottom. If pulled too hard, they will fall out. I'm glad there's plenty, but still... no one wants their dress coming apart.

Purchased a dress for an event, was told that it would not arrive in time and that I COULD cancel. I still wanted the dress so I didnt cancel (: Waited 35 days after payment, and emailed as it showed the order still active and no shipping info. When I emailed I was told that I CANCELED the order and that they could ship it now but it would take another 30 days. I responded to please cancel it now, refund, and that their business practices seemed shady. They responded again by telling me to look at the email history and note that I canceled. I responded one last time noting that I included the original shipping time email, that does not say cancel, and if I had canceled the order a month earlier why was I never refunded? I am now awaiting a refund that will take 5-7 days. I again told them they are shady): (Refund was processed 5/5/2022)

I first ordered from Retro Stage in May 2023. I ordered a butterfly bikini and was very impressed with what I received. I have since ordered from them again several times, and again I have been impressed with what I have received. I've ordered 2 more bikinis, a few dresses, skirts, a romper, and a jumpsuit. Some of the items have not reached me yet, however, I have been able to track each of my packages through the 17Track webpage provided by Retro Stage. I have had no problems reaching customer service to get help. There was a dress that I wanted to return, and I did receive the same comments about it being bad for the environment, etc. But they did offer me 3 options/solutions, one of which was to ultimately return the item. I knew it would be a minimum of $26 to send the item back but I really wanted to put the funds towards another outfit. So in one option they offered to let me keep the dress and then offered me an additional item for free to compensate. I will absolutely be ordering more from Retro Stage in the future!
I never write reviews but feel compelled to now that what has happened to so many before me, has now happened to me. The website states the company is from City of Industry, CA and that US shipping is 2-8 days. Fine, that works perfectly with my event. I order my dress for an event happening tomorrow and I get a confirmation email that then states they need 1-4 business days to process my order. The next day I receive another email telling me my item has shipped and... will arrive in now 8-12 business days by expedited shipping. I email customer service, no response. 3 days later I send another email. I get a reply with "We will be out of the office for the weekend and holiday"... what holiday? 3 more days go by and I get not one but 2 emails with my tracking information, again I already have telling me my item is still in Hong Kong. I had to buy another dress from a more reputable company that delivered as promised. I am so disappointed by the false advertisement and very poor customer service. Oh... did I mention they failed to tell me the item is coming from CHINA! Please, buyer beware. Go to Amazon and order off from there from a company who does not operate like this. Curious to see how fast they will issue me a refund.

I rarely listen to negative reviews, but boy I wish I had on this one. The dress that I bought was way overpriced for what came. The material was see through and so flimsy that it literally stretched off of my body. It also took forever to ship and I never got a purchase confirmation email. I am now trying to return it and customer service is dragging their feet. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! They outsource and DO NOT quality check before they send their products. What a freakin' scam.

This company tries to hide the fact that they are overcharging for cheaply, poorly made items that are shipped directly from China. I received the item I paid $66 for and it was of very poor quality and not as described on the website. I contacted their support asking for a refund, and they offered to send me another item that I could pay an additional $15 for and keep the original item. They also offered 2 other alternatives that involved me not receiving a refund (stating that they "care about the environment" and don't want the package to have to be shipped back). I had to ask for the address to return my item to because I wanted the refund. I then had to pay to send the item back, provide them with the the shipping company and tracking number, then I was told that I needed to tell them when the item was received at their warehouse before receiving my refund. When the item I sent back was delivered, I emailed them and received no response or refund. I then emailed them again, and I still have not heard back. I would absolutely not recommend that anyone order from this company because you will not get what you are paying for, and because they try every available avenue to avoid refunding your money, even when you follow all of the ridiculous steps that they require.

Just received my dress and it is absolutely perfect. Size and quality are fantastic. Highly recommend. Took about 2 weeks to arrive which was okay as i wasn't needing it for anything soon.

Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

Answer: I would say yes, China sizes. I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
