I'm paying more than I want. I made a reservation online with a 3rd party company. We live in Door County. So about 2hrs 45 mins. We were going to High School State Championship for trap shooting. The Expedia company booked us in Jefferson, WI. At a hotel chain I love and the help need us as well by not charging me at all. I was not able to speak to anyone to make sure we are staying where we think. The reason It saved us is because It was easy to book online. Had a room and is 3 star hotel really worried we were going to pay way to much for motel that isn't clean.

I got duped into using this reservation and when I wanted to change the reservation I was tolk I cannot make any changes. I think it is deceptive and should be reported for poor business practices.

Answer: Trying to cancel a reservation, the rote voice said it did not recognize the phone number, even though it was the same phone I used to make the reservation. Then asked if the reservation confirmation number started with an R. I said No. It asked me several more times. I kept answering No. Then it told me to call the hotel for help and hung up. Called the hotel. They said they could not cancel since the reservation was made through a third-party company. That I would have to cancel through ReservationCounter. (Oh, by the way, I had tried to use the online Cancellation page - it doesn't work.) It was very difficult to get through to anybody and there were very long waits in between. I will never use this company again.
