Was looking for a Specific Restaurant and found that the Restaurant was located within the Hotel that I booked. Was also looking for a place to stay for a few days so I booked the Hotel as I knew the quality of the Hotel Brand.
Good-no problems once I got it all figured out. I am looking forward to our family function on the island as it will be our 50th wedding anniversary and everyday is a challenge at our age so we are very excited that our children will be able to join us.

When called the number to make a reservation I had a hard time understanding the gentleman (he was very nice) but wanted to book the room that cost more than your website. So went to the website and book the room.

When booking my reservation, I did not see where to put in the corporate code for a reduced price. I called and the modification was easily made.
The site, worked fine, however, it also is not very clear WHO it is. I still cannot figure out who this represents is it a third party site, that books reservations or what is it. Once you've booked it sends you a booking confirmation and invoice, but then never follows-up to send a final payment. Obviously it took my Credit card, it shows the amount but then NOTHING... I would not use again as it is not friendly to go back and find follow-up information.

We had plans change and needed to come in 1 day later, we were told we could not cancel or modify the hotel dates in any way, and we still needed to pay the full amount. This was OVER a month before we were supposed to check in. Customer service was rude, and incredibly inconsiderate. DO NOT EVER USE THIS WEBSITE! They are scammers, who essentially steel from their customers.

Until I printed out my itinerary, I didn't realize what the Service Fee was that I had to pay for. It turns out, when you book from the hotel's website, they charge you $17.99 to "allow you access to Reservation Counter's 24/7 customer support." All booking services and hotel sites that I have used give me free customer support. If I would have known they charge $17.99 just so I could talk to customer support, I would have booked my room through Expedia or one of my other booking sites. I thought booking through the Gibson website would give me the best value for my money. After I booked, Expedia popped up and I could have gotten my room for $38.00 less and no unnecessary "service fees".

Before I made my reservation, I read where I had until March 22nd to cancel my reservation for a full refund, if after the 22nd, partial refund. After I made the reservation, the cancellation policy said "no refund" for any reason. That is misleading information. I would have never booked with Reservation Counter had I known I would not get a refund in the event I would have to cancel. I certainly understand a "no refund" if I had to cancel up to 3 days of my reservation. But to advertise one thing before the reservation is made, then change after you got my money is very misleading.

I tried to book 2 rooms on line, entered all of the data and received only 1 room booking, and it was incorrect. I cancelled that one and ended up calling the hotel directly and was able to get 2 rooms, at a lower rate!

The hotel rate was $114.75 plus tax and fees totaling $127.88. You charged me $208.57. I thought this was the reservation desk for the hotel. Words of advice—go directly through the hotel, these 3rd party reservations scam you!

You make your website look like the hotel's website. I thought I was on their website. And, I never got a confirmation email from you. And your website doesn't show anyway to cancel a reservation. I had to contact my bank and cancel my credit card. Pretty slick.

The process was easy. However, it never asked me for my Rewards card number. So when i called to provide it, they informed me that they would not be giving me any rewards points for this reservation. And, even though they left that important bitt of information out, and the ticket was supposed to be fully refundable, they still wanted to charge me a $17 fee for the luxury of using their service. That's just not right. I am very disappointed and will never use this service again. I feel like they were leaving out that bit of information on purpose and in my mind that is deceptive.

I made the mistake of booking through your on line service instead of going through my Hilton honors by mistake. Minutes later I tried to cancel and they said they would charge me $219. RIDICULOUS! I WAS cancelling three days ahead of the reservation and usually there is no charge unless the cancellation was within 24 hours of the reservation.

I am very disappointed with this hotel. Due to safety concerns for weather, I had to cancel my reservations the day of. The front desk and manager didn't care about safety, they just care about the bottom dollar. I have been a Hilton honors member for a long time, and they are the worst to work with. I highly advised not to use this hotel! I am even with the military, and you would think they would be willing to work with me, especially since this was a military conference I was attending.

Answer: Trying to cancel a reservation, the rote voice said it did not recognize the phone number, even though it was the same phone I used to make the reservation. Then asked if the reservation confirmation number started with an R. I said No. It asked me several more times. I kept answering No. Then it told me to call the hotel for help and hung up. Called the hotel. They said they could not cancel since the reservation was made through a third-party company. That I would have to cancel through ReservationCounter. (Oh, by the way, I had tried to use the online Cancellation page - it doesn't work.) It was very difficult to get through to anybody and there were very long waits in between. I will never use this company again.
