I received a $5 off admission to the Canadian Pet Expo from Ren's, so I went. Was very impressed with the booth they had, the free samples they gave out, the coupons they gave and the pleasant staff working the both. Will definitely be going to the store in my area. Thank you, keep up the good work.

The manager, staff, were dismissive. Not knowledgeable on products and food. A brand new puppy. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Stay away. Toxic. Lots of drama queens. Not educated or trained. The food they recommended made my puppy very ill. Big vet bill. Vet was not impressed, and reported them to the college, humane society, spca, etc. The staff dress sloppy. Nose piercing, pink, blue hair. Very unprofessional! No name tags! Stay away.

I entered the St Catharines store at 6:58, they close at 7:00. I heard, "we're closed" being shouted behind me. When I showed my phone, indicating they were still open "the manager" replied, "get out of here or I'll call the cops". Buying cat food shouldn't be this complicated.
I don't usually complain, but this was extreme.

No assistance staff watched us lug large freezer packages out.
Never once asked us if we needed help or any questions at all
When at cash the cashier was sitting in a stool we had to somehow lug all the stuff we had closer to her so she could scan
I.dont know if she is disabled or injured but someone else should have been up there to assist her if so
I spent over 325.00 in raw food and she rudely said to me.as I was looking at another free sample that I could only have one and I allready have one.
Will never ever return to store was not offered help.out even though I had 2 s.all children with me..

I am disappointed with the customer service online and in store they have zero customer service online they don't even have online chatting option also they don't answer the phone doesn't matter how many voice messages or emails you sent they never reply I will not recommend this business they don't even honour their advertising it's BS advertise. You should see the manager at Barrhaven location how rude she is she will argue with the customer for hours than she will provide help they just want to get pay cheque and not working easy money with rude attitude towards customers

I decided to check out the new store in Orillia and what a disappointment. They have nothing for reptiles, nothing for fish and their prices are way to much. Some of the staff were helpful but noticed one staff member had her face stuck to a computer screen. Will definitely not return but will go to their competition... Pet Smart.

Order has been delayed over 2 months now. Spent over $200 on 2 items. Not happy at all! The products are ridiculously priced and most are sold out.

Thought I'd go in and take a look around. The store was large, very clean and had tons of goodies to go through. The minute my sister and I walked in the door we were greeted by a friendly staff member and all the staff were friendly and helpful there. How refreshing! The prices were comparable to other shops and I actually found a few new flavours of cat food that my cats just love. I will be back!

Normally I purchase my pet supplies from the Rymal Rd location. But for a short time they are temporally closed. So I made the trip to the Ancaster Store. When I arrived the clerk was outside serving other customers, I had waited for my turn, keeping distance and wearing my mask to ask a question regarding a certain product. She told me that I would have to phone in my order, I told her I understand that, however before I can do that I have a question. She told me to go sit in my call and call her. I was standing there with other customers, she could have simply answered the question. So I may have had clarification on the product before ordering it. I got back in my car and drove away. I will be looking for another pet store that is willing to serve their customers and answer product related questions until Rymal reopens. Very rude service from the Ancaster location.

I ordered two bottles of ear cleaner from Ren's Pets for my dog. Since I was paying $14 for shipping and handling, I added a few low-priced, light-weight items to the order. Much to my surprise, I received a box containing the light-weight items but the bottles of ear cleaner that I really needed weren't there. There was no mention anywhere of there being a backorder so I tried to check for information online. There was no way to check the order status since I hadn't opened an account.

I called and left a detailed message asking about the missing items and shortly after that I received an email from someone named Amanda saying the following: "they were on back order and since the back order total was under $20.00 they were cancelled"

I replied to Amanda with the following: "I really appreciate the quick reply but I don't understand. Why would you cancel part of the order without even advising me instead of just waiting and shipping everything I ordered together? If I place another order for the ear cleaner now, your website will charge me shipping again and that's not fair. Please either ship me the two bottles of ear cleaner that I ordered or credit me the full price of the shipping and handling and I will place the order again."

Amanda immediately replied with the following: "Now in the e-mails we send for the confirmation of your order we do mention towards the bottom that any backordered items that are under $20.00 they cancelled and you are not charged for them. I do apologize but since they have been cancelled as mentioned we can't ship them out."

It's a really bad business practice to charge someone $14 for the shipment of four light items and two heavy ones and then simply choose not to deliver the two heavier items, without even so much as notifying the client!

I replied to Amanda pointing out that Ren's Pets could've made this right and gained a loyal customer for life. Instead they kept my $14 and hid behind the small print at the bottom of on an order confirmation…which is obviously emailed to the customer AFTER the order was confirmed.

There's no shortage of online stores that actually fulfill their orders properly. Save your money and spend it on a company that delivers ALL of the products you ordered.

Tip for consumers:
Shop elsewhere. If they choose not to fulfill their orders, nothing else matters.

I have been waiting five business days for a response from customer service. I followed up, still nothing. Maybe they wait for the return period to expire so they don't have to issue any refunds.

I will never buy anything from thiis company again.

Tip for consumers:
If you don’t offer customer service, by that i mean respond to your customers, you shouldn’t be in busines

What kind of stupid system are you implementing? Turning into PetSmart or you already are?
You need to work on your horrible outdated website if you decided to comply with all this communist country that is dictated by some pieces of garbages. We order on line and you steal our money and pack whatever you feel like in a bag and don't even care to apologize for stealing.

You used to collect the money in store AFTER you packed the order with the items you actually have in the store not lying about "online" and fool people to buy.

Where is.my money for the products I PAID ON LINE and you NEVER GAVE THEM TO ME?

$#*!ING THIEFS!

My dogs food was discontinued so had to switch brands i got large bag of food and dog got diarrhea from it 3 weeks later with mixing it slowly dog still has diarrhea I went to return it not much is missing out off bag they dont except large bag returns this is wrong 30 day return policy and they keep record of returns I previously returned un open bag off dog food now they wont return large bag of dog food that making my dog sick they told me I've switched brands to many times well I've had to find food my dog likes since hers was discontinued

They wouldn't and didn't want to help me.

Every location I've shopped at I have been greated by lovely and knowledgeable staff. Great coupons and deals on a variety of supplies. We have moved to a city where *unfortunately* there is no Rens so now I shop online and get products delivered.

Tip for consumers:
Having a pet can be a little on the expensive side so look for sales and coupons they give out.

Dog food, dog treats, dog toys, dog health care. All things dog related.

I have been in contact with Ren's for a package that was never received back in October which has still not been resolved. I have copied the president of the company in addition to everyone else I can find via the internet and it STILL hasn't been resolved. Furthermore even when you place an order, the inventory flag tells you it's in stock until you receive your package only to find out it was out of stock.

Ren's has great value and good instore service. Online is terrible, always issues with prices and coupons. Kelly is not friendly, hopefully learns to become a better CSR. Instore experience I would give a 4 and online a 1.

Tip for consumers:
Just watch out for the sale price not coming up. If you get a coupon the code doesn't always work, but it usually only works for online orders being shipped to your house, if it does work not for online orders to be picked up in store. Online CS isn't great. The shipment takes a little longer than Pet Valu, but the packaging is more sturdy. If you can, just go in store. It's easier and you get better service.

Canned cat food and toy. The kong gingerbread house wasn't great, but kept it.

As a long time customer I am very disappointed in your online order pickup process at your Oakville / Trafalgar location. Place an online order for pickup to avoid entering the store. When we arrived, we were informed by an employee at the store, that we needed to wait in line (about 35 people) with the others that were waiting to enter to do a normal shop. Once we waited, we were to go into the store to pickup our order, then would have to wait in the cash registered line with the others to pay for the order. This defeats the whole purpose of ordering on line – so I left without our order.
Come on Ren's, get your curb side pickup process fixed.

What an awesome pet store Ren's pet store in Niagara Falls the customer service is absolutely incredible they've got everything you need great prices friendly bunch of people I wouldn't shop anywhere else

Order food as soon as the sales come up, never able to get the items, message comes up, "item removed". Never able to get no matter how fast I try.
Store caters mostly to dogs, not cats

I started shopping for my pets at Ren's when it was a single store in the "outskirts" of Oakville. I remember when they started to develop their website. They have expanded exponentially since then but still have managed to maintain that country feeling and a sense of family amongst their staff. They have a huge variety of pet supplies. Delivery is fast and accurate. If there are issues they are quick to respond. They still have a local person that picks up customer service issues and will actually answer the phone and help you. I have since moved out of Oakville ut still shop at Ren's via their web site. I highly recommend checking them out!
