I purchased as complete replacement remote for a 2001 4Runner. The included programming instructions did not place the truck into a programming mode. I tried several times and researched several different resources to provide specific instructions needed to program the new remote to the vehicle, with not positive results. All I really needed was the outer case(the key-ring loop had broken, remote still worked), I purchased a complete replacement unit as I was unsure that the internal board from the old case would actually remove/fit in the new case. However it did. As the RemoteRemote site sell just a case or just an internal board replacement, I contacted them and requested them to consider a partial refund for a partial return(just the new board). This request was denied in it's entirety. I could return the entire purchase and wait for an entire refund and start the process over or nothing. If this company did not sell just the case and/or just the board, I can understand a policy that requires a full only return. However since they offer the items as individual sales, I would think their return policy would accommodate a scenario like mine. I will not be purchasing other items from this vendor.
I purchased a wall mounted remote for garage but never recieved. Seller said"Sorry We Can't help you!
I had purchased some fob's and keys a few years ago for my toyota sequoia. They seemed to work ok. Somehow I lost them(they were spares) so I bought another set. The fob's programmed ok, but the keys would not. The locksmith had charged me $100 to cut the keys but I was trying to save money and program them myself using remotesremotes instructions. Did not work. I was on the chat with them probably 4 times. At one point someone there told me maybe I had bad door wiring? Anyway... i went to my locksmith. He tested the chip. Said it was no good. He could not program it even though he said the instructions were correct. I had to buy two new chips and have them programmed. $50. So when i contacted remotesremotes about a refund, they said can i send the keys back. What? How if the keys are cut, how can i send them back... and you have to cut them to find out if you can program them... bottom line... the guy their kept saying UNFORTUNATELY about twenty times... about the warranty... yadah yadah... He would not speak to me on the phone... he said company does not allow... like they used to... anyway. So finally. The next day... out of $38... they gave me a $7.00 refund. Jesuz... and. They would not let me update my prior review to tell people that now the toyota sequoa keys do not work... i will not buy from them again. They suck now.
Paint began to rub off of the emblems after less than 3 months. Company would not replace the bad part. Do not waste your money on these guys.
Support is a joke. They don't stand behind the product. 16 emails later nothing...
Bought thru Walmart. Buyer beware.
The unit never worked. Dead as a door nail. Customer service was worthless. Don't waste your time with this junk. Buy elsewhere.

Answer: Poor quality merchandise. They did send the remote. They did have an email to communicate. But the remote never worked and will not be refunded.
Answer: Price was half of the dealers and seemed worthwhile
