AWFUL
April 13, 2020

AWFUL. Signed up for the monthly virtual office space. I only wanted it for a month so I only paid for a month. They keep billing me anyway and now they have sent me to collections to take my money for a service I didn't want, need, or sign up for. How on earth can they call this a monthly service?

Dishonest Company
November 2, 2021

This is the most dishonest company I have ever encountered. They will tell you one thing face to face, and then blindside you with charges that are contrary to what they told you in person. I will never ever do business with them again. I would not recommend them to anyone!

Hi Jarod,
I understand and appreciate that you’re disappointed, and would really like to help.
We provide our restoration service for all customers to save time and money, along with the frustration of dealing with multiple outside vendors such as IT & phone technicians. When you moved into your office, we ensured it was all in working order and ready for use. This service is part of your agreement. On behalf of your Community team, I’d like to extend a full apology if this wasn’t explained to you.
I have checked your account and could also see some late payment fees. As you know, our invoices are payable no later than on the 15th day of the month. If paid late, your account automatically incurs a late fee.
You can review invoice and payment dates on your statement of account, available in your online account.
I’d be happy to support you should you need additional assistance and/or further information. Please don't hesitate to log into your online account (www.myregus.com) to check your service agreement and review our FAQs.

Regards,
Sandra Melody

This place is horrible, there is no customer service and they lock you into a contract that you can't get out of. They claim that you can't talk to anyone unless you send an email to their help desk in which they only email you. Totally horrible! Not good, don't bother.

Very bad
February 24, 2022

The community manager is completely stressed out and paranoid of the tenants and clients since a manager was murdered in Philadelphia. She works alone and she locks herself in an office. Regus needs to support these people who appear to be suffering from PTSD.

I would not sign another lease. They keep on cutting back on services and staff and blame Covid. Reception now closes for lunch. The WIIFi has been down for two weekends. They finally had a technician come at 4 today and tweaked it but didn't replace the router. They have a fire wall which works even when the wifi is down. I tried getting a rocket hub but it couldn't get past the firewall. I had tried using my phone as a hot spot and that didn't work. There was no help over the weekend. There were three of us who couldn't work. And the reception actually yelled in my face. It is very tense and uncomfortable. I would like to leave but I am stuck in a lease for another year. And you have to be careful that you don't automatically renew. Regus initially seems like a nice set up and the space is comfortable. The service is extremely bad and at times hostile.

Money grubbing and impossible to work with. Continued the lease for our closed office which we were told we couldn't cancel. So we have been paying for an office for the last 6 months we're not using! We were told we could transfer it to another town... when I placed this request today i was told we couldn't move into our new office until March 1st 2019! Absolutely disgusting and expensive - NEVER AGAIN

Worse company to work with, I recommend using a different type of office workspace. The workers only really care about themself and they have horrible customer service here. Save yourself the time and effort and find another workspace to work with. I rarely write reviews and I have to say I am irritated and frustrated with this industry, not just this location but with the whole company. They do not take care of their clients and I do not recommend working with these people. Save yourself the headache and choose a different place. I recommend industrial workspace. Absolute horrible experience, they made me pay for a month that I wasn't even in town and I specifically told them that I only wanted to stay 2 months, a lot of money wasted here. Save yourself

I had a choice, I would give them 0. They are dishonest from the beginning. When I signed up with them, I was told that I could terminate the contract any time and it is month to month. When I wanted to terminate after a month, they didn't allow me, saying that I have to pay July for the whole month. They later charged me a late fee, although I was trying to terminate the contract and didn't make the payment on time. Be aware of their deceptive practices and hidden costs.

Hi Saule,
I am sorry that you feel that we are “dishonest and horrible”; we pride ourselves on transparency and honesty.
You joined us on a month-to-month agreement which as its namesake means you continue on a monthly basis. When you terminate, it requires 1 full calendar month’s notice. You joined us on 6 June which means your earliest end date is 31 July 2022; as outlined in your agreement.
We have contacted you directly and asked for evidence of conflicting information having been shared but this has not yet been provided.
I hope this clarifies your concerns. Thank you for your understanding.

Where shall I begin? Hidden fees. Double billing. High staff turnover. Adhesion contracts. Double talk. Desperate for tenants and rents to unsavory tenants. They keep your phone number and won't forward mail when you leave unless you pay them to forward the mail.

Absolute inflexibility in light of effects of Covid19. Regus not only nickel-and-dimes you at every turn, but they are deceptive, and have grossly one-sided lease "terms" in their favor. They have no consideration for their clients or their staff. In terms of public relations and business model, Regus is a nightmare.

Hi,
I understand you’re dissatisfied and I apologize if we did not provide the level of service that you expect and deserve from Regus. However, it is not right for you to post a review anonymously with inappropriate words on this platform without giving us a chance to help you.
All our agreements do not end automatically as mentioned in our terms and they should be ended online according to their notice period.
You should request your retainer refund online and it will be refunded within 30 days after your agreement end date. It’s an automated process.
Most, if not all, companies have an internal collections department or utilize a third party. It’s a very common part of a business when providing goods or services to customers and then not receiving payment. This should not come as a surprise to any customer.
I haven’t been able to identify your account. Could you please email me at lorraine.brule@regus.com with your company name and account reference (as displayed on your invoice)?
Thank you,

I need to communicate with upper leadership in this company. I need an end to my contract as I submitted a request for it back in 2/13/24. My dissatisfaction is increasing due to the lack of communication and understanding between Helpdesk and local office assistants. The levels of disrespect are huge! My mental health and wellbeing are at risk and I make your company responsible for the worst nightmare I have lived since 2/9/24 when I thought I was making a good decision with a membership with you. I need upper management to deal with this process and resolve it by ending contract no. *******xxx for services I don't wish to have and I have made it clear and aware that I don't need since 2/13/24. I already paid Feb month fees and now I have invoices up to April already overdue. This is insane!

Hi Allyson,
I’m sorry if felt the need to escalate this.
I understand that you would like to end your agreement early due to the issues you have faced with your centre team during your first visit.
This has been coordinated with the line manager of your centre. They clarified that the issue has already been addressed and they have apologised to you for the inconvenience caused.
They also confirmed that you have been informed about our terms on ending an agreement. A signed agreement is a formal business commitment, and it should be honoured. Your current agreement will expire on 28 February 2025. We partner with our customers to help them run and grow their business, but we also have a business to run and cannot cancel an agreement earlier than its end date.
Please do not hesitate to submit a query through the ‘Help’ section of your online account or speak to your local team if you have any further questions.
Thank you,

The entire experience with this company has been horrible. From calling to cancel the service the same day I started it because I found an alternative solution. To being told I'd still be billed the first month. Okay fine just cancel the service now so I'm not billed anymore. Only to STILL be billed some extra charges after canceling and receiving the confirmation canceled email. The whole situation screams shady.

Unfortunately, the high cost does not come with high service. Also, they make it impossible to STOP THE MADNESS. I have followed their instructions, written emails, filled out forms and they still tacked on an additional 9 months... I guess that's the normal incubation time whenever you get f***ed.

I usually don't write reviews but this Has been getting out of hand for me. For the past months I have been trying to cancel my account. I been calling the number that been provided to me. One person Told me to email them so I did and when I got a respond from the person in the email, The answer they responded with didn't answer my question. The person close the email before I could respond back to the answer that person gave me. I have been getting charge for this account for 3 months now. Then I was told to contact the building manager like they ask me. I was told through email they don't handle the accounts. I been giving the run around for months.

Hello Adrianna,
We are sorry for your disappointment although the cause is confusing.
You signed an agreement from 27 March 2023 until 31 March 2024 which you gave termination notice for on 4 September 2023; your agreement will still end on the date indicated on it.
Our team are always available to support our customers with payment, billing and account-related questions. We have received great feedback about the quality of our service, and I apologise if you’ve experienced any delay in hearing back from the team.
Please remember that you can check your agreement, amend services, make meeting room bookings, review and pay all your invoices at any time through your online account, available at myregus.com.
My team are in contact with you now and will clarify your agreement again if needed.

I terminate the service/agreement in Sep 2021 but the confirmation email saying it will end in 2026. I tried to email rep, no response. Also tried to call but no answer keep being put on hold. I left my phone number, no one calls me back.
This is really bad. The facility is OK, I would come again but the support is really bad.

What type of unethical business is this company running, I wish I read all the complains about your company, very bad, this company is going to shut down soon. I get transferred and am on hold for some ridiculous amount of time. I have been trying to cancel a month to month contract. Again, no answer to that question. What a terrible policy and makes no sense if you cancel on 15th how on earth you charge me until April 30th if it is a 30 day notice. We are not fools here. What on earth is restoration fee if it is a month to month contract and a 30 day notice. You guys emailing me saying I owe two unpaid months of service. And your agents don't know anything they are very unhelpful It is like an endless parade of circular logic with you people.

Don't sign their contract even if you dissolve the company, move to a diffrent state and have no use for the service they will still collect that fee for the duration of the contract. A contract is the only way to ensure they make money otherwise their invoices are always wrong, and customer service is weak. Run don't walk run away!

Beware do not rent from Regus. I rented an office for 4 years from them when I moved out they Charged $330.00 cleaning fee. I moved out over a year ago and I still cant get a refund on my damage deposit. The people at the local Regus in Destin Fl have been great trying to help me but Cooperate Lies to them as well. I cant image working for a company that would lie to there local area manager. I have been promised payment for over 9 month and have not received a dime. Company Name is RANSCO LLC.

Hi Randy, thanks for sharing your concerns.
As far as your retainer is concerned, I have checked your account and can see that the bank details you provided didn’t allow us to process the refund (you can see the same information through www.myregus.com >> Account >> Billing and payments >> Retainer balance).
We fully understand the importance of receiving your refund promptly and have taken measures to make the process as smooth as possible for customers. Can you please log into your online account and confirm your bank details? We’ll then expedite the refund.
Please let me know when done at sandra.melody@regus.com and I’ll ensure we contact you with an update.

Criminals

Updated review

I was with Spaces in NYC in 2020. The building was shut down due to Covid-19 mandates. The public was told by the government and media not to even go outside, let alone travel to a nonessential office. I noticed Spaces continued to charge me for office rental even though THE BUILDING WAS CLOSED. When I called to dispute this and got nowhere I cancelled my account and had the charges reversed on my credit card. They began to send me to collections and charge me a late fee every month. No amount of calling, talking to higher ups, or reasoning worked. For months I tried to get them to drop the billing, but to no success. They are adamant I owe them for the rent when the building was closed, plus additional late fees. It is now January 2024, and they continue to charge me a $50 late fee every month. Surely this is illegal?

Hi Brian,
I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction.
The vast majority of our centres worldwide remained open during this period and we worked extremely hard to support essential workers and key businesses.
I would love the opportunity to help further but haven’t been able to identify your account. Could you please email me at michelle.spire@spacesworks.com with your company name or account reference (as displayed on your invoice) along with all relevant details regarding your concerns?
I look forward to receiving more information from you.

Spaces, a subsidiary of Regus, is continuing to charge me for office space that was closed during the pandemic. I was finally able to cancel my account (not easy), but they continue to charge me rent for the two months when the building was not even open! On top of this, they have been assessing a $50 late fee every month for the past two years. Talking to customer service goes nowhere. I'll probably have to take them to court. AVOID.

Scam billing and threats
December 21, 2021

We asked for a quotation on their office price. They said 400 euros. We said okay. They said it would have to be 500 for a bigger office. We said fair enough. We signed nothing and they only have a phone number. We saw an online form and they said we signed serious papers and we now have to pay 1300. We said no way. They kept "billing" us (Over email!) and now we "owe" them upwards of 2000 euros, and they're threatening to sue and send debt collectors our way.

These guys are scammers. Give them nothing.

Hello Rafael,
We’re sorry if you feel you’ve been misled, please allow me to try to clarify with the few details you’ve so far provided.
Please know that we would only follow up on payment should a service have been committed to by signing an agreement. The process for this although simple takes several steps which includes providing your full company and contact details before selecting to confirm and providing a signature; it is impossible for us to do this on your behalf.
I’d be happy to clarify this further but I first need to identify you. Please email me Sandra.melody@regus.com with your details so I can assist you. Thank you.
Best,
