Along with what everyone else has said, this company is a joke. I was on hold with them for over 4 hours yesterday and when I finally got through to someone they said there was nothing they could do for me and I had to contact the airline directly. EVEN THOUGH on the airline's website it says to contact the company you booked through. It's all a big run around. Such a joke. Say goodbye to my $6000.
Once you book with Redtag, you receive no customer service, if you email, you don't get a response and if you try to call their customer service number, you will be on hold for hours till you just hang up or you get disconnected. There are many other travel agencies that offer great service, do yourself a favor and go with the other agencies. One star is not low enough.
Stay away from this company, they are scammers. If you need to cancel your trip in some unexpected situation, they will try to steal all your money, and you will lose a lot.

I use quotes because after the initial couple of emails where a 6 week investigation was promised, I haven't heard anything despite multiple emails. It's now 8 weeks and NOTHING! At the least, I expect a refund for the Westjet flight and one day of my hotel stay. But again, NOTHING. So far, very disappointed with this team, Redtag and Red Label vacations

I have been a customer of Redtag for many years now. Recently I booked a trip with Redtag to travel to the Dominican Republic. Due to some complications I had to Cancel the trip and rebooked for a later date. My agent Silvia Dellasiega was simply amazing. She searched for the best rate as I only fly in Westjets first class section. Then she sent me links for day excursions and got me a really good price. They are fantastic to deal with and I am a lifer to this company
I recently booked a vacation package to the Bahamas for my wife's 50th birthday through redtag.ca, and unfortunately, the entire experience turned out to be a nightmare.
Initially, we were excited about the trip, but our enthusiasm quickly turned to disappointment when we started hearing and reading negative reviews about the hotel we had booked. Concerned about the quality of our accommodations, we decided to upgrade our package.
This is where the problems began. Despite numerous attempts to reach our booking agent, Darren, via phone calls and emails, we received no response. It was incredibly frustrating to be ignored and left in the dark, especially considering the urgency of our situation.
When we attempted to seek assistance from other agents, we were met with the same unhelpful response - that only the original booking agent, Darren, could make the necessary changes to our reservation. This runaround left us feeling abandoned and powerless.
In the end, we had no choice but to cancel our vacation altogether. The entire experience was not only unacceptable but also incredibly unprofessional.
I cannot express enough how disappointed and dissatisfied we are with the level of customer service provided by redtag.ca. It's evident that they prioritize making sales over genuinely assisting and supporting their customers.
I strongly advise anyone considering booking through redtag.ca to proceed with caution. Based on our experience, their lack of responsiveness and willingness to help in times of need is deeply concerning.

Purchased the Manulife Covid-19 insurance but apparently didn't ALSO purchase the Air Canada Vacations OptionFlexPlus insurance at time of booking. I've been trying to get through for over two weeks and spent hours on hold with countless emails sent without a response until 24 hours before departure. The message I got was the ticket is ‘100% non-refundable and no changes are permitted.'
That will be the last time my credit card swipes right for this company. Ever.
After they listed a hotel with the wrong name, we ended up booking the wrong hotel. We called right away and were told that it shouldn't be a problem and they will let us know. Over 1 week later, after helping them fix their hotel name mistake, we are told that we cannot switch hotels without losing the entire cost of the wrong hotel booking. I think they only told us they could fix it in order to get our help to recreate the hotel name mix up so they could fix it for the future.
I booked a vacation package through this company as it was recommended by Airmiles. I purchased cancelation insurance as we were unsure if we would need to change our plans due to Covid. We needed to change our plan and our agents extension claimed she will be out of the office until Monday, Nov 22, it still says this as of Dec 6. I've waited hours on hold, spoken to multiple customer service representatives and am still being told I need to wait until they talk to Air Canada before a credit can be issued and that will take 15 days. Since Nov 22 the trip I was looking to change to has increased in price from $6446 to $9836. The customer service representative I spoke to this evening after being on hold for 2 hours advised me that Air Canada was closed and to call back tomorrow morning. I will never use Redtag again!
I've never booked with redtag before but I received a gift certificate as a Christmas gift and wanted to make my flight a little cheaper. I went to book online but there is no spot online to input your gift card code so you have to call in to book. The representative found the exact flight I wanted which was great, took all my information and then took my gift card code. He told me they had to verify my gift card and when I asked how long it would take he said "an hour or so" I waited 18 hours no call back. When I called back the price of the flight had gone up! They said there's nothing they could do. When I found a flight with the same price they said they couldn't book a flight with sunwing with my gift card. I told them this didn't make sense as you can use your gc to book all inclusive with sunwing on redtag, they said "that's different". (This was all with a supervisor mind you) th e phone disconnected and he didn't call me back. I had to start the process all over. I finally decided to cave and pick the flight I originally wanted so I could use my gift card (at a higher price). I go through the whole process of booking the ticket to receive my itinerary with my last name spelled wrong, I spelled it 5 times. Worst experience ever and I didn't even go in full detail how bad. I was on the phone for 3.5 hours. Never again.
Do not book through red tag for vacations.

They charged me 1200 for a flight there n back from yvr to Vegas! They offered to refund my hotel because it was only 460. I can book my hotel and flight for 600 through Vegas.com
I can't even express how pathetic redtags agency is including their agents! They just ripped my off 1300. 00! I requested cancellation well in advanced for refund! I bought 7 All-inclusive packages and Insurance to go with it for our family. One of the Insurance Policies has not been sent to me and I need it as 1 family member is very aged. I called a week ago the agent that sold the packages and got her voice mail after I had previously sent an email and didn't get a reply. I never heard back from my voice mail message and her voice mail greeting states that she is away from the office until Oct 13th and it is now Oct 17th
No other option to call her back up contact... just a 1-800 # and I've been oh hold over 3 hours

Worse experience of my life, i booked a departure from montreal and it automatically changed it for departure from toronto... a way for them to charge me for insurances and extra cancellation and rebooking fees of over 300$

Customer service at *******824 (most likely from India) They are there to NOT HELP YOU. Booking Ref # is said not valid. Numbers only or just letters only. You never get past that point. Can't help you till you find "CORRECT" Booking reference Number.
Mother-in-law whom spoke with a redtag agent was boldly pressured into buying a vacation for middle of March 2023. Told better book now, or may not get a vacation. We've found out on our trip we literally paid 2, or even 3! Times as much as other people we met at resort did. PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE BY AGENT Louise Wheeler! Stay away! I tried calling her to say, in a lack of better words? How could you? She basically said nope I didn't? I just said lucky to get one if you don't book it now? (That wasn't pressure to her) so my 67 year old Mother-in-law paid over $23,000! To go to Cancun from Toronto for one week, to a very horrible looking place, horribly rude staff and food that put us all in the bathroom for a lack of better words for hours each day we ate there. STAY AWAY FROM REDTAG.CA! Places and people like this mentally and physically make me sick!
I Booked a trip with an upgrade to include luggage. REDTAG issued me a ticket with a lower price with no luggage include. After more than 20 wasted hours on the phone waiting to be answered and several emails. They still insist that I booked the wrong fare, even tough I prove to them with receipts that they are giving me the wrong ticket. Trying to save a few bucks now I have to pay an extra ticket for luggage. Being charged for booking fees, when they clearly state in their website NO BOOKING FEES FOR FLIGHTS. I booked a vacation through Redtag.ca and It was the biggest mistake ever. Clearly I choose YYZ which is the code for Toronto International airport as departure but I don't know how did that happen and found it exactly 4 hours before our flight that our departure was Ottawa. We drove 170 to 180 Km from Toronto to Ottawa at 2am to catch our flight. We were so lucky we did not get pulled over by the police and we got to to air-port less than a minute before they close the gate,I called the customer service and they were closed, I also emailed them 2 times when we got in Mexico and its been 72 hours since i sent them an email and still no response.
I reserved all my vacation to cuba for the past 6 years twice à year since 2015 i never ever had problem with them in 2019 when my vacation was cancel for cuba because of covid19 i was rembourse all my money back no question ask thank you red tagfor your good customer service
Answer: No they do not. I've had a price drop and they found a way out - turns out i paid for an upgrade and hence was not eligible for any price drop guarantee.
