Reddit is a horrible site. The userbase is full of users who aren't fond of others opinions. Full of bullying behavior. And moderators who are incompetent and useless. Every sub reddit is toxic be warned. Downvotes are given to silence and belittle other users. It is abused by the users who use the site. Overall reddit is a place that encourages ignorance. Expressing yourself isn't allow on reddit.

Snobbier, but similar to Digg.com in that it's a very addicting social news site covering the gamut from the esoteric to the frivolous.

I appreciate the simple UI, and often find myself caught up in redditors' comments more than content of articles! Most redditors also tend to be liberals (although there exists a sizeable population of libertarians) and regrettably, differing points of view tend to get downmodded into oblivion.

Reddit is a proponent of anti-science, anti-intellectualism, and pro-raping of children. Unfortunately I will not be able to ethically and morally interact with a company that supports these evils.

We all have differences of opinions. The fact that regular users of this site can private message you and harass you is unacceptable. Goodbye Reddit. Never again!

The mods and admins here are a joke and are far too eager to throw down the ban hammer over the stupidest stuff. It's almost impossible not to get banned here at some point for things that are innocent or even helpful. You can even get banned in some subreddits simply for taking part in another subreddit, and then they'll hit you with a "Ban Evasion" IP block when you try to post something, without even knowing what the hell you did.

In my case, in a thread about a Senator sponsoring a completely ridiculous law, I posted their publicly available phone number that I found on the Senators own website so that others in the thread can easily find this and call in to voice their opinion.

This was met with sidewide ban for "Doxxing". Completely ridiculous.

The mainstream subs are curated by a tightnit team of moderators and admins. Its not uncommon to go to a topic in politics or news, and see chains of removed comments leading the comment thread. Only certian comments are permited to stay on reddit. You will be realizing that you are reading the exact same set opinion, it gets repetiative very fast.

On some subreddits like politics or World News. When you post some things they'll ban you. What your saying is the truth but the moderators appear to have a imperialistic American/Israeli view. If you ask the moderators why you were banned no response is given. So. In essence you're being censored and freedom of speech isn't applicable in Reddit. What I posted wasn't hate speach but it wasn't in favor of Israel's/America's imperialistic view. They can't handle the truth so they ban you.
The next day truthout.com comes out with an article and the topic is Joe Biden agenda of world domination. So do I recommend Reddit.com. After almost 9 years as a member I've come to the conclusion there's to much bias censorship. There's no one to moderate the moderators.

Although its fiendishly hard to avoid...but on REDDIT there's no avoiding the abuse no matter how skilled I am. Its enough for me trying there after 5 times to get a foothold and some 6 or 7active people following. The idea is to shun people and invisiblize people because well...those at REDDIT think its healthy to smack us up and put us in our place, to make the "good" ones seem "better". Third grade trick. REALLY. No appeals. And no corporate attorney to turn to. REDDIT is a fascist abuse-welcoming dump and useless for any meaningful social or political policy movement in my country or even helping people personally. Its a rubber stamp for the inhumane "system" we are all slaves of while always parading as a free speech rag. I can blow my nose in it the rest of my life and still not be clean. The words I need to use on them I cannot utter. But it reminds me of amer***Ka in general...all holy smarmy phony values until u try to LIVE them. SHAME ON ANYONE INVOLVED in their "policy". I never attacked anyone or offended anyone's sensitive eyes or acted out of control. But I get what repression is. NO REASON or its not really repression. SHAME ON REDDIT FOREVER, I have hereby "responded-it" for once. Should set a MAJOR trend! And I know you all have way better things to do, like being REAL (without getting punished for it) so u can get stuff done. Godspeed. Its offline as well, hint hint...

Censorship is evil. Omiting the truth is unfair. Users, prepare to be banned if you like freedom of speech. Expect the best results to be filtered and shaped in a way that 'best suits the public'. The internet is not a place for children. This site is even more damaging to children, as it encourages children to use the internet. If you're a new user, prepare to omit and filter your own thoughts so that you don't have to fear being downvoted and hated. Grow up, head over Gab.ai, that is what the internet is, that is why children shouldn't be on the internet. Freedom of speech. Reddit uses robots to downvote content that is a thought crime. A test for robots was done on the conspiracy reddit and was immediately removed after 500 bots liked the post.

Group administrators constantly censors and restricts posts so much that is frustrating and useless. Minority opinion are suppressed by censorship. I don't think I will be using for much longer.

I was on Reddit Wall Street Bets and a few other sub stacks…thought it was a place for interesting discussions and debate…NOPE…if you disagree or give an opposing opinion to the liberal millennials who overwhelm Reddit you are banned from commenting for time periods…they operate Reddit like the Chinese and Russians operate their own news feeds…if it doesn't conform to the narrative they are pushing…then you are censored or banned…THIS is the NEW AMERICA…don't disagree with what the New Democratic Party is pushing or their brown shirts will get you

One I said no wrong and your site thinking on a small comment which barely gives you a small amount to say anything kicked me off for a simply comment which had no hate, not only is this truly a insult but my comment was not even rude I only said a building in Russia was interesting and your fellow people complained on one simply wording which was not even a insult since Russia has unique colors I liked, now it's pretty much dead to me when you just kick some one off for not even a bad remark, why don't you look at the comment and ask the person instead of thinking a simply wording was not hurting no one it was a bad move and it makes anyone act like haters toward one person who did no wrong, you guys better make it right because that was a huge hurt on just one person who never said one bad thing on many sites for years! I will say you guys were terrible but the people who had this complaint are true haters for a color interest, next time don't kick some off for a comment without their side of things! Or next comment I will promise to post this on another site on this for it was a terrible shot toward one person.

First of all the site is moderated by some of the most power-hungry and sensitive people. On most of the subs that involves news, politics (whether Left or RIght) although 99% are usually politically left and will ban you for anything that aligns with the right or even being Conservative. If you respectfully question or argue on topics like COVID, BLM, Crime, Mental Health, Oil/Gas they will ban you. Ohh and the people who use and comments on the site are a bunch of hypocrite, racists, over-sensitive kids. They are the same people who hate on peaceful protests if they dont agree with it (freedom convoy, pro-law, etc.) but they will encourage rioting on the streets for the LGBTQ and BLM movements. The mods on the site needs to get a real job (a real paid job) and hopefully it is not anything that gives you authority such as Law Enforcement or Medical.
