What a gigantic circlejerk. It used to have insightful comments, but now it's just a bunch of people making terrible puns and sharing memes. I only waste time on here at work because porn is blocked.
Moderators are unfriendly. You don't get any responses from anyone on it. It's not worth even signing up for. Reddit is also a toxic social media outlet. I wouldn't recommend Reddit to anyone.
Antifa terrorists, feminist psychos and tons of lies, violence, fake news, porn. Banned for questioning feminists saying false rape accusations are harmless. Unsafe for kids.
It has it's cons, like being downvoted for making an innocent comment. You get the occasional rude poster. There are good people on there and good comments.
Browsing reddit can be fun.
Where do i start? It's just awful - political moderation, brainwashing, echo chambers, targeting advertising - they've got it all. All of the worst aspects of social media from the 2010-2020 time period wrapped up into one giant diaper. You will get IP banned for criticizing china, russia, whatever - although you will gain tons of "karma" (basically a social credit score) if you trash talk the right governments. Its just completely biased and while it used to serve as a repository for information in the early 2010's, this has absolutely and entirely evaporated over the years. It has more misinformation than facebook, more animosity than twitter, and is almost entirely owned and operated by political and financial agendas. Anyone who gets their information from reddit is exactly like the next person who does, and these are some of the most uneducated yet confident people in the world right now. The US government needs to take a very, VERY hard look at reddit just as they have with TikTok. I think reddit has a ton of BS that they are hiding from the general public in terms of how their algorithms work, the way they ban and moderate posts based on politics, etc. this might be the worst site on the internet right now.
Seems very similar to fkbook. For a site that claims to be tolerant and unbiased, it's extremely intolerant and biased. Specifically the owners/administration support the wrong political agenda. It seems whoever disagrees with them gets banned. I had been unjustly banned and suspended several times for no reason at all. I suspect the mods, staff, administration were biased based on my comments, which never violated any rules, but it was convenient for them to make it a violation. I give zero stars. The founders created a discussion forum platform where nobody can disagree with anything. Even the most trivial topic can lead to a ban or suspension if one user disagrees with the other. Users report comments and mods or reddit staff ban/suspend. They don't bother to learn the facts about anything. If they have their own views, tolerance, acceptance of opinion of others, fact verification is not their thing. I strongly advise against engaging in arguments with other users, even if they are very wrong. Idiotic karma points increase the more you agree with everything and praise other users, even thought they may be very wrong.
I'm seeing here there's a lot of bad reviews from people who are of an opposite polictical view than mine.
But, as a liberal, I can say this social sucks even more than Facebook or Twitter (which I removed long time ago). Freedom of speech is almost inexistent, the subreddits just give you a bunch of downpoint just because they don't agree with your idea, no matter if your idea is peacefully and politely exposed. Once you get negative karma, nobody will see your comment or post. So, your own presence on the social is nosense. Even if there is someone not agreeing with my ideas, I do not think censore the person or marginalize it could help to the cause. This social is just putting further bad impression on what Left and affiliated politic ideas are. Those ideas born from the desire of freedom and removal of censorship. Very bad.
Got banned immediately for retaliating against someone who was being an $#*! to basically everyone on this site. This was months after I've submitted a report against them with no response from the admins. After I got banned, the user started looking for me on other platforms and ranting at me for hours straight.
Also, the admins here have no sense of integrity, with them even protecting a child rapist. The idea that they've fired Aimee Knight is a joke, since they clearly didn't go through with it considering how they're banning anyone that speaks up against her. They probably just made it so that she doesn't have the admin badge, but she's still an admin.
Somehow, I've managed to hate the admins here more than anyone I've met in real life, and with all the stuff they have wrong with them, I'd say that's justified. I didn't even mention all the other stuff they did, like taking bribes from China, and basically promoting harassment. The thing is, this site, and its admins, have way too many problems to cover with a limited amount of characters, so I'll just leave it off here. If you want to learn more about these scumbags, feel free to look it up, just warning you though, you'll probably feel like crap afterwards.
Reddit banned hundreds of female-and feminism-centered subs but rape porn and virulent, violent misogyny--including graphic rape and death threats-- are A-OK.
Never going to that misogynist male cesspool again.
#REDDITHATESWOMEN
Like much of the internet it's all designed for phones so if your post isn't seen within a few hours nobody is going to see it. You can't be there as a nobody therefore your going to get bumped pretty quickly. Reddit is FULL of left wing idiots that don't have a clue and if they do wake up they act like they are in shock and stumble around drunk.
They only allow 'fake' conservatives that cuss and look extreme likely rednecks to paint a redneck picture. These are the conservatives that used to call Rush Limbaugh saying "I'm not a liberal BUT" and after a few questions would get REALLY nasty and talk over him. They were banned from calling back several years ago during the Obama era but once in a while would go around it on open line Friday.
They would get caught each time. They would do this to other Conservative talk hosts too. They eventually ran out of juice there once Hillary's Fairness Doctrine collapsed so they are using the web to push 2020 election since they failed against Trump.
If we let them win the entire NATION will be like Reddit with nothing allowed except whatever puts Hillary in a good light. So all the conspiracy theorists will be gone unless they act 'neutral' about her bad deeds and not say anything.
Reddit is example of broken economy. Want more of it?
Oops your posting too much. Please wait ten minutes to reply.
My account was suspended for vote manipulation because I upvoted the issue impacting my VPN service (on their VPN subreddit) when I was on that VPN. I appealed the decision because it was obviously an error on their part but the site mods ignored and kept it in place. The site mods hide behind a veil of anonymity and have no accountability on the site. They are not trained or knowledgeable and do not give any response as to why they permitted the full length of the ban. They do not care about the end users but do care about censoring for their sponsors and owners (Tencent chinese conglomerate).
I visit reddit daily. It's a nice combination of important news and funny/informative user posts. I can never get more than a few upvotes, but that's okay... I still come back every day.
You get banned for everything except for memes and thats what everyone does on there, just post memes.
This site is negatively effecting humanity, making them dumber.
I wanted to post a topic on Reddit, was unable to because that "ability" comes with being someone with a history of using Reddit. Okay, fine, except having this "history" isn't easy. Example: I sometimes do Google searches on various topics and questions and am brought to Reddit, where I find related posts and comments. One time I left a comment for an active thread, and got a message from a Reddit moderator criticizing me for replying to a thread that was three years old! Really? The fact that it's "old" doesn't mean that people won't still find it or find it useful, and if the thread is still ACTIVE, why would a moderator do this in the first place? Based on this, the only way that you can have a history of using Reddit, prior to creating a sub-Reddit so that you can post your own topic, is to comment on NEW Reddit posts, which really limits you if your concern is something that was last posted and commented on several years ago. Quora sucks too, but at least it doesn't scold you if you reply to a post that's three years old!
I think reddit is great site to know about popular pop culture.
You will know about the new memes, ideas and freedom of speech
Thanks

A lot of stuff on Reddit just plain sucks, which is why I do not use it anymore, there are a bunch of memes that aren't funny or don't make any sense, and there's also a lot of 18+ content on Reddit which is ok in some cases but in others when I'm trying to show someone something on Reddit or someone is watching, hentai showing every third post isn't convenient and there aren't very many settings to disable or toggle it. Everyone on the platform is also like really toxic and will argue with you over literally everything also I don't really care but I noticed that the platform will show you mostly left/liberal content rather than conservative/right content for reference Reddit has no clue what my political say is in things and I've only ever seen liberal content.
But there are a few good memes I come across every blue moon which honestly explains why Reddit youtubers are so successful they find the actual good part of Reddit and post it on youtube.
Trying to write something on this site with any substance is impossible. I have a clothing Business so I wrote this article about Lingerie, It was funny and cute, I added my link debbiedapparel.com and said sorry for the plug, but the article was sincere THEY DISMISSED THE ARTICLE... I sent a video of my cat walking with my 2 dogs. They ban that! What are the rules there are so many I am giving up I just don't have the time
LOL. This site can give the latest and hottest news, amazing site, but I can't get my community, when I create one, they will clocked me, I don't know why.
They will ban you for nothing. They have no life what so ever. All my questions were removed even if they had replies. Just terrible people all and all, very negative. Try and stay away.
Answer: Absolutely cancer. Unless you're an NPC without a brain of your own.
Answer: Use sitejabber, much better. Since they don't make you jump through hoops to post a review and they don't censor negative reviews. TONS of bad sites online. TONS of corrupt sites. Clean up the internet. Break up these monopolistic companies.
Answer: Don't trust reviews from reddit because the site is censored to get rid of negative reviews. Censored by corrupt moderators and admins.
