Redbubble's reputation is increasingly marred by significant concerns regarding its customer service and fee structure. Many artists express frustration over high deductions from earnings and a lack of transparency in the new tier system, which they feel undermines their profitability. Customers frequently report issues with product quality, including defective items and poor print resolution, alongside unreliable shipping and inadequate support when seeking resolutions. While some users appreciate the variety and quality of certain products, the overall sentiment suggests a declining trust in the platform, prompting many to consider alternative options for their creative endeavors.

I really didn't like the pillow cover I recently ordered and received but customer service said "no problem" and the money was returned the same day!
I paid extra money for 3 day shipping it's been 10 days not even a word from Redbubble their customer service website sucks they don't answer you and they over charged my bank account 3x never again will i order from Redbubble huge mistake
I bought a 38 dollar secret santa throw pillow and recieved a pillow case that looked like it cost less than 5 dollars please do not spend your money on this website... read more
There was a problem with late delivery of my order (which turned out to be the fault of the postal system, not Redbubble). I raised a query with Redbubble and the response was fantastic. Very prompt, helpful no-quibble and courteous service. I'll definitely order from this site again.
I ordered 2 weeks ago for a secret Santa and after plenty emails, they have said I will not get my present in time.
They send you a letter to go to their information site chicken plant but if you don't have an order number or an invoice number which I don't you can't it won't send! Very convenient for a very shady site I have to go through my bank to stop payment on the item on Christmas
I ordered a Christmas present for a friend of mine. At first I was skeptical because I didn't know anybody that had ordered off of RedBubble. I just now recieved the present and it's perfect! They also added a cute little card with the purchase that made me laugh. Quality work and service with even a touch of holiday humor made for a great first experience with this site and will definitely lead to me purchasing from this site again in the future. Thank you guys for the great gift!
I have been waiting for my refund for two weeks now! I cancelled my order before it was even packaged to ship and I still haven't seen my money back. They have had 4 people email me back about this and once I reply, they ignore my emails until I go on their site to resubmit a request. How can 4 people not solve my issue for me? This company has terrible customer service and an extreme lack of professionalism. I would never recommend them to anyone I know. This situation has pissed me off and I can not believe they are avoiding me. *******
I'm writing this as both a seller and buyer. When you upload a design on their site, the colours are extremely different when printed on a t-shirt, because their printing is so low-quality. Why don't other printing services have the same problem? I have bought shirts from literally every other site of that type, like teefury, lookhuman, etc. and none of them have any problems reproducing the colours accurately. It's not a nitpick either, the colours are extremely darker, faded and greyed out. The print is also not opaque on the shirt, so it's even more faded than the preview. I didn't find their white shirt to be particularly good quality, it's kind of sheer. For this low quality, the pricing (30-35$) is outrageous. The other sites I mentioned sell shirts for 15-20$ (6$ for "random designs") and both print and shirt are much, MUCH better quality. Redbubble said they were improving their printing, but that was a while ago and the previews are still just as faded and bad, so I doubt it's any better on the shirts.
The stickers are nice and have nice discounts for them. I haven't bought any other type of item yet.
The customer service when dealing with fraudulent copyright claims is horrid. ALL they will do is send you tired copy-pastes from their FAQ and TOS. They will NOT reply like humans and consider your counter-claims. They don't care who's right, they care about their own comfort only.
Edit: received a shirt recently. The printing and shirt quality has improved. It may be on-par with other companies now, but the price isn't.
I ordered the wrong phone cases for my kids and wrote to ask what I should do. Honestly, I expected I would get no reply and that I was going to eat the cost of my error, but I received a reply within the hour and I was given a coupon to order the correct cases! I reordered immediately so it was all corrected within an hour. Unbelievably fabulous service. Still waiting to see the quality of the products. They are a little pricey, but they have a great, artistic collection, and I like I'm supporting the actual artists creating the products. So far, I'm impressed.
I'm not accustomed to spending $29 (+s&h) for a tee. Most of the time places like target and jcp carry the same designs on the same soft tees for 15$.
Ordered a workout motivation t-shirt as part of my bf's Christmas present. At the very least, with all the time it takes to "manufacture" (what are they doing, growing the cotton, picking it, spinning it, and making the shirts too?!), they don't even provide a tracking number- just a vague should arrive 3 days after manufacturing blurb. I won't order from these folks anymore. I would have been better off just getting the graphic i wanted, putting it on a flash buying a t-shirt and taking it to the silk-screening place in town.
As a former seller on Redbubble I found Redbubble to discriminate against artists that post authentic and diverse bodies of work with claims of infringement with vague reasoning. Redbubble repeated removed comic style illustrations and manipulated photos of celebrities that I designed in Photoshop and Illustrator stating Bravado International Group copy rights/ licensing to the photos I used, but when I contacted the VP of legal services with Bravado he stated they (Bravado) did not have licensing for the photos used in my designs. When I presented evidence that my designs were not infringed Redbubble closed my sellers account.
It's no coincidence that the designs that were removed by Redbubble were generating revenue, and if you have read reviews from Redbubble sellers on this site or any other review website you'll find a trend that once they make over $100 in sells Redbubble will use Bravado as a scapegoat to remove the design(s) that is selling!
I recommend using teepublic.com, society6.com and or threadless.com but avoid redbubble at all costs!
I ordered a hoodie on a sunday night from Redbubble. They were able to get it to my house in 6 days for standard shipping. Which is really good! The design on it is very solid and won't just come out in the wash. My only qualm with it is that when it came it, it had a really strong vinegar smell for some reason? I just threw it in the wash and the smell was immediately gone, so it wasn't a problem at all. But, all in all, I would recommend this company to any one that is wanting to support the art community, and wants a generally interesting design on whatever they'd like basically!
After having ordered a mug in late September for a friends birthday that was on the 8th of October, I was aware that given the so called 'table' they had that it might be a little late. I received an email on the 2nd saying the mug had been shipped and looking at the 'table' I expected it on the 13th, as it apparently takes 11 days for it to arrive in the UK from the USA. By the 13th, it hasn't arrived and I'm quite disappointed as it is a while past my friends birthday. Messaging Redbubble to inquire about my order I was then told that mugs take 14 days despite that NOT being what it said on the table. He also proceeds to tell me that it will arrive on the 21st of October, the numbers being all off. Okay, I think, I'll give them another chance and just wait till the 21st.
It has now been exactly three weeks since the order was supposedly shipped and I have not seen it or heard from it at all. I will not be using this service again.
I ordered a shirt for a friend a few days before a concert. The delivery deadlines said that express shipping would get the shirt there in two days, which should have been plenty of time. However, they failed to tell me until after I placed my order that they have to manufacture the shirt before shipping. After not receiving a shipping notification, I finally contacted them asking what was up. I was then told that they were out of the shirt I wanted, so they couldn't start manufacturing the print, and they didn't know when they would get more shirts. So not only did my friend not get the shirt for the concert, they didn't even tell me there was a problem until I specifically asked, and their delivery timeline was completely off to start with. Very dissatisfied. Will not be ordering from them again.
UPDATE: Although I asked for a refund, the shipped the shirt anyway. I emailed them yet again explaining that I wanted a refund not the shirt, so they refunded my account, and allowed my friend to keep the shirt. They properly fixed their mistake, but I would still order a shirt from somewhere else in the future.
I was so disappointed in the quality of the print on my hoodie. The colors were extremely faded -- not at all like the picture they represented on-line. I won't order from them again! What a waste of money!
I looked everywhere for a Cubs hoodie that I envisioned but couldn't find what I liked anywhere. I ended up coming across Redbubble by accident and found exactly what I was looking for. I was nervous at first but eventually committed to buying the hoodie. My order arrived quickly in 4 days but I ordered the wrong size. I contacted Redbubble and they were more than willing to help get me the correct size. My new order arrived in 5 days and I couldn't be happier. I am glad that I found exactly what I wanted and Redbubble came through for me.
I just bought a Dr Suess "be who you are poster" for my mom for christmas. The price was very reasonable, the quality was great "it looks exactly like the display picture" and it took just over a week to get to me with standard shipping. I would definitely purchase from Redbubble again!
Cool stickers, but low quality. The material is a mix of paper and plastic, so they're very fragile. Forget about using them in surfaces that suffer any contact (laptops, etc), and definitely NOT 18 months outdoors as they say!. Additionally, they won't look as cool as in the webpage, but that's the same with burguers, so...
Answer: They seem fake to me. I received such horrible service that its hard to believe this is the same Redbubble. Maybe they improved alot since OR maybe they are paying their own marketing people to post fake positive reviews. We will never know. I would say its not worth the risk. Go with another seller.
Answer: They're your typical plastic case. My sister has a case and it's lasted her s good year
