Very upset with Realtor.com. I paid for a 6 mos trial, and never renewed. But they went ahead and renewed anyway. I am furious that they never called me. I called them when I realized they were charging me. I wasn't even with the same firm any longer. Now I am getting letters from an atty.
Better setup than Zillow, not even close. Now they are playing games with tabs. Crime tab was totally deleted. Took away all the transparency. Try bringing up flood zones and watch them run. That's a deal saver and waiting for them to delete that next.
You would think In a sellers market they would take all precautions for buyers. Especially with buyers relocating for areas they know.
BUYER BEWARE
After being baited as a home buyer through realtor.com's cash back rewards program and working with real estate agents that put me on the bottom of their list because they didn't have to pay a fee to realtor.com for them, I finally was able to make a home purchase.
I waited and waited on my cash back (they inform you that you will have to wait for some time after your purchase so they can collect from the realtor, amongst other things). I finally got tired of waiting and called them only to be told that I had missed the "deadline" to collect the cash back. They insisted they had sent me an email notifying me of the time-line I had to collect and provided me with a date that email had been sent. I was able to find the email in question on that exact date they alleged to have sent it, except that email mentioned nothing about the cash back instructions. It did not matter that I forwarded the email back to them to prove what I was telling them.
They continued to hold to their ground that they had sent the email notifying me of information they needed from me in order to process my cash back and I had missed the "dead line."
Funny how they had no problem calling me incessantly when they first wanted my business but when it was their turn to fulfill on their business commitment, one email they allege to have sent was all they feel they needed for their due diligence (which, again, they never sent).
Shame on realtor.com for their shady practices. According to other information online, their is a lawsuit against them on their cash back program, which I wholeheartedly hope they lose.
I have been using Realtor.com for lead generations and to say the least I am not happy at all! They sent me a lead and when I called the lady she was so irate because I had called her. She stated that she has had several real estate agents calling her which according to her she did not request. Another area of concern is that realtor.com will send messages on your behalf to the potential client stating such things as, "I will call you tomorrow". I was unaware until I looked at my messages. So say you didn't get this message, maybe you were on vacation or out of town, this looks bad on the realtor if no phone call is returned. I don't want anyone speaking on by behalf! I tried to cancel my contract with them however; to no avail. Poor customer service and they (Realtor.com) try to put the blame on the consumer. I will never use their platform ever again. Realtors and Real Estate Agents BEWARE!
The sight is the worst to look for houses on. It continuously malfunction and waste your time. It continuous to refresh in the middle of searching. This happens more often than not the last 2 years. What a crap site.
She walked her clients thru four no trespassing, private property, keep out signs and when I told them to get off my property, over and over and kept telling them to leave, she just laughed, but they left. Goes to show her integrity, I won't be so,,,, polite if it happens again. All my signs are in English so she should of understood what they meant. 0 rating would be high
My family and I had an amazing experience with our very professional and knowledgeable realtor Candido Gallego of Halo Realty. Candido understood our wants and needs and went above and beyond to ensure that we found the right home for me and my family. It did not matter the time of day, anytime we reached out to him he always responded in an expeditious manner and got to the task at hand. If anyone is in need of a home, I highly recommend him no questions asked. Because of him we were able to find our now home and we're extremely excited about the countless memories that we will have in it. Thank you Candido for always making yourself available, and going the extra mile.
They are the worst of the worst. I can't believe I gave them over 900 dollars and they won't return a call. The Leads are crap and the address and numbers are no good. I am paying that much for 10-12 leads. Calling my credit card company since I have not response from them in 7 days on one issue and 19 days on another. If I treated my customers like you treated me I would be ashamed of my self and anyone who choose to work here.
We have worked with several different agents in the past and decided to go with Stella Kocharyan this time. That was one of the best / greatest decisions we have ever made.
She was there every step of the way: before the sale, during the sale and after the sale, before the buy, during and after the buy. She always had our back and kept us updated every step of the way. This was in regards to the selling of my home and the buying of another home.
I have never seen more detail oriented, more professional, and what's most important - more caring agent ever. The level of patience she has is just unbelievable.
She is the
If you are looking for a realtor who you can trust, and who will put your interests ahead of theirs I highly recommend her.
Not only you will not be disappointed, but you will be happy with the result.
KUDOS TO YOU DEAR STELLA
I was looking to get in touch with the relator for a property I was interested in but was listed as Contingent. The listing on the Realitor.com website had a phone number with a local area code, so I called. The lady that answered indicated she was with Realitor.com on a recorded line. (Obviously not local)
She asked me for the listing info and my name. Then she started asking me questions like if I was a first time home buyer and if the purchase was a investment. I said no thank you, I would not like to provide that information. She the. Said "ok, thank you" and hung up.
If you ever come to a point in your life where you may have to use realtor.com. Just don't! All you need to know!
We tried realtor.com a couple times looking for a vacation home. All I can say is the same thing I said to them: they wasted my time and I'll never use them again. If I call about a property tell me up front if it's under contract or pending. DON'T PLAY WITH ME. This is infuriating. And the agent you're connected to jumps right in to try and hook you into working with him or her on other properties.
Ugh. Never ever again
This review is about Realtor Jenny Young Century 21 from Cincinnati. I am trying to help other people. I have known realtor Jenny Young for 30 years. She comes across as nice but if she gets mad at you she will give you the silent treatment. Which could be a problem if u want to buy a house. Jenny has become nasty and insulting and I have no idea why. I am legally disabled. I am not saying she isnt a licensed agent.
BUT ONE NIGHT OUT OF THE BLUE I GET A TEXT Saying I am not a close friend. Even after 30 years. THEN I WAS ACCUSED OF WANTING HER TO FAIL AS A REALTOR
I HAVE NO CLUE WHY AND I CANT FIX CRAZY. SHE IS NOW A HUGE SNOB and A
NARCISSIST. I HAVE BEEN TO HER HOUSE ONE TIME IN 30 YEARS. ISHE INSULTED ME WHILE I WAS THERE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO HER OFFICE OR WHEN SHE IS SHOWING A HOUSE. THE LATEST IS NOW I EMAIL TO MUCH AND I DO THIS TO STRESS HER SO SHE WILL FAIL. THE ONLY Thing I have asked her is could i be included when u go out. THAT WAS a BIG NO. I Really want to help her succeed but i cant get pass the accusations. I have never met the girls she says are her real friends. I thought i was a friend. Be very aware when u buy a house from her.
I AM NOT able to even talk to her she doesnt answer. Good Luck
Having Jenny and Johnson Amelewu help me find a new home in the St. George Utah area was a great experience. Their knowledge of the area and expertise in the real estate business made my search for a new home go very smoothly. From the beginning of my search to the purchase and closing of the property, both Jenny and Johnson were hard working and paid close attention to every detail. They answered all my questions along the way and followed up on all my requests. I could not have asked for more.
What stood out to me was Johnson's attention to details and Jenny's professionalism.
The Amelewu's are truly a great team and great people as well.
Both were a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a property in the St. George area.
I was scammed on this site out of 1350. 00 dollars. I was on this site searching for a home for my kids and I. I sent an inquiry about a unit then I received a texted from someone stating that the unit was no longer available and they sent me another unit similar. Then it was down hill from there. I paid this person application/back ground check fee for 150$. Then 1200. 00$ deposit to secure the unit.
They repeatedly called after speaking with them they made me wait 24 hours only to tell me they couldn't find a agent to help. Again don't waste your time
If you are interested in a propery on realtor.com and it states the property is eligible for a cash reward, be warned that they will fight you upon trying to redeem it. They are a misleading and rude company. So, know this, when you inquire on a property make sure you mention you see the property is eligible for a cash reward and absolutely do not continue through them until you get an email or text stating that they will give you the cash reward. Even though it states that a Realtor.com rep should contact you within seconds after connecting with an agent to screen you to start the rewards program (see image), don't rely on that. I believe Redfin.com is a much better customer oriented company, having dealt with them also. So I'd advise to save yourself some aggravation and go through Redfin instead.
Why does your site malfunction all the time? Can't put in address to calculate commute time. Can't delete searches, etc. REALLY PATHETIC.
Realtor.com is filled with inaccurate information. The site is also plagued by technical glitches. "Customer service" doesn't respond to questions or concerns. I recommend choosing one of the other real estate sites.
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
