As a Realtor I have wasted as much as $10,000 advertising with this bs company. The only leads I get are on the same listing. I have called over and over with no help. I have contacted the NAR and they won't do a thing either, but they let them use the branded Realtor name. Save your money.
Susan McConkey and Tony McConkey are not realtors you work with on purpose. There is a lack of professionalism that should not be present after 20 plus years of experience. Tony lacks communication skills, direction, application, and drive. Simply put, do not use them for anything. Tony just got his license reinstated for fraudulent behavior, but in my opinion, he should not have received it back. Hes not ethical and does not respond after he collects all of your private information. Youve been warned
I'm an agent that was paying to for my listings to be featured on this site. Found out that not only were they not being featured, but they were not showing up AT ALL!
The manager that finally called me after asking over a dozen times was no help.
Still waiting on refund and they recently charged my card again.
I had also signed a pre-authorization for my zip code. I waited a year for my zip code to open. When it finally became available, they let someone else have my spot and claimed my preauthorization had expired in 90 days but that was never disclosed to me. Don't spend your advertising dollars here.
Mediocre failed business people and bored housewives who come to believe they are somehow skilled. Just sold my house without using these "tools". I actually feel sorry for them. At least their not mattress salesmen.
I gave the Realtor a full price offer for a house a month ago and did the house is still for sale a month latter active and still having open houses
My realtor entered my home on realtor. Com 3 weeks ago. It is still listed as 'not for sale'. Shad has put in tickets and spoken to customer service who said it was being worked in 2 weeks ago. I called them the other day and let them
Have it. I asked why it was taking so long and the poor guy said I don't know. I asked if I could have a number for their tech support and he said there is no such number and I should just wait. I am so frustrated and have my house on all the other sites, but what kind of customer service answers ' I don't know?' They suck and I want buyers to know not to rely on their listings! Be sure to check all the sites like Zillow and Trulia to see what's really avaiable...
If I could give no stars, I would. Was called today about renewing my zip code for leads. I let Eric know that I would not be renewing and he proceeded to tell me that because I didn't do their coaching, I must have been working the leads wrong. I am a seasoned agent on a very successful mega team and quite honestly don't really need their leads anyway. I had purchased leads from them several years ago and had a great rep who would never have spoken to me the way this rep did. Agents beware!
My realtor Bridgett Jacobs was great always available. Just a phone call away. Love doing business with her really recommend Bridgette Jacobs with Keller Williams.
Don't get taken by these boiler room telemarketers! Total wast of money!
99.9% tire kickers who surf the net, think about it, wouldn't a serious buyer already have a Realtor? Can't understand why we give them our information from the MLS anyway.
When I paid the cost for seven months and had no leads converted, most had more than one realtor call them or even already had an agent. I asked for a realtor.com reduction in cost but since I was past due they were like a vicious debt collector and would not wait for the payment until my closing the next month or reduce my market area. Use any lead generator but Realtor.com
As a Realtor, I really had faith that Realtor.com would be better than Zillow. But my experience with them has been nothing but garbage. The latest ongoing saga I have with them is trying to get my testimonials from testimonialtree.com onto my page. For unknown reasons, they won't transfer over to my page like they do for everyone else and they refuse to fix it for me. Going on 3 months and still no resolution. They just aren't doing anything about and apparently refuse to give me the time of day. So... as I constantly meet buyers through my open houses and elsewhere, I ask them what website they use when shopping online. If they say Realtor, com, I tell them that it's a garbage website and that I recommend they use Zillow. I also tell my Realtor cohorts about my experience with Realtor.com.
What the heck happened? The recent new version is horrible. Wow, I bummed. Whose running the place to be so stupid to think the new version is better?
While they have houses on MLS, they have multiple homes that are just a scam to get realtors potential business. All these websites do is give realtors grief from clients like me that say "but it's on realtor.com". So frustrated. Constant dead ends and solicitations.
I have worked with agents throughout the country both as a buyer and a seller and I'm extremely selective on who I choose to represent me. Mary was by far the best agent I have worked with. She is not only knowledgable and professional, she goes that extra mile to make sure your house is absolutely ready for each showing. My home was empty so she would go over before clients arrived to make sure lights were on, porch was swept, and all was in order. She even had her husband fix a few things that needed repair. She was quick to respond to questions and would send feedback within the hour. The final negotiations for my house were difficult due to a variety of factors and she handled them with ease. In the time my home was listed, Mary earned my trust and clearly made suggestions in my best interest. Paying a 6% fee always seemed like too much money in the past; however, I can honestly say that Mary earned her commission and for the first time EVER, I was happy to pay it! I highly recommend this amazing real estate agent for anyone who sincerely wants to sell or buy a home.
So we've been house hunting in Frisco TX for a couple months and it's incredibly frustrating to constantly be looking at homes that you've already seen. Why can't you add an option to dismiss a home? Also it's very frustrating to get excited only to see that the house has an Open Active Contingent. Why is there not a filter setting for this? You have every filter setting for Pending and foreclosures but not this one and in a place like Frisco everything is Contingent!
Don't spend your money here or waste your time looking on this site! All they want is your cash. They don't provide any real leads. They send you junk leads: homes already pending, off the market, people who have hit a button by mistake,... and maybe worse than that. Never had a decent lead. They harass you for more money when you tell them you are done with them. It could NOT be worse.
How long would a business survive, if they gave away their inventory, and then bought it back? Obviously stupid, but that is what we Brokers and Agents are doing.
We enable the MLS data feed to Realtor.com, then we are forced to buy "Enhanced Listings" or Realtor.com sells the leads generated by our products (our listings). We can stop this extortion by not giving our product away.
They do not deliver what is promised, and refuse to work with you to correct the problem. Waste of money. Horrible staff. Fake leads. They oversell markets and cannot provide the leads you pay for.
I decided to give Realtor.com a shot after having Zillow and it wasn't effective. The Sales guy Rory was so nice and told me that they weren't like Zillow and that I could sign up for 6 months and if I needed to cancel that all I would need to do is call Customer Service and it would be taken care of. When I told him the zip code I wanted, it wasn't available so I went with another zip code. After a week or two he calls me and says the zip code I had originally wanted was available and that he could give me a great deal. Also, that Top Producer would be "included".
Since signing up in October I have only gotten 3 leads which were crap leads. Yesterday, I decided I want to cancel my services so I called Customer Service and some guy named Mike was super rude and told me I couldn't. He also said that if I didn't pay that he would send me to collections. First thing, I never signed a contract, so I don't feel that they should be able to hold any Realtor/Agent to a contract without a signature. Second, I was informed that my 6 month contract wasn't a six month contract but that it is for 12 months. And this Top Producer is also a 12 month contract that I never asked for or wanted.
They will lie to you, so BEWARE! In the beginning they ALL are so helpful and nice, but after they reel you in they no longer care about you as a customer.
They they are the most up to date this is not true. Too many of their listings are under contract in option periods. You go through too many just to get to a actual active listing. They need to put the ones that are pending have contracts to the bottom of the list. Your wasting too many people's time looking at ones already taken.
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
