I'm a mortgage broker. Was told the leads provided were vetted for name and phone to make sure they were legitimate. Also told all leads would come to me from my area. So I tested their system, false name, false phone, false email, and a zip code for my area, and the system came up with a lender contact that wasn't me. So, there was no vetting for legitimacy. Called the lender who came up and he said his leads were no good.
Asked for refund and told NO. Spent the money, but I asked the next day and I'm sure they didn't spend it yet.
Update: While salesperson said no refund, company policy said they would refund if cancelled within 3 days -- I asked to cancel on 2nd day. Even though salesperson was not helpful, company did allow my credit card company to cancel with full refund. Still would not recommend the service due to deceptive salesperson.
JUST CHECK BBB TO SEE WHAT KIND OF COMPANY THIS IS!
Absolutely horrendous customer service and sales (after you buy). They will tell you anything to get your card info including lying to you. They promised my 15 leads in 3 months. At the end of 3 months, I had 9 and only 1 that was verified as a seller with proper contact info. One lead even told me "the ad said an agent will NOT call me, so I will not be doing business with you since you lied!" Of course, I requested replacements for the bogus ones. They told me everything they could to postpone. My account had been "overlooked" has been "expedited", "amplified", etc. One rep even told me they could refund a prorated amount at the end of 6 months, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After the 6 months, and 4 more qualified leads TOTAL, guess what they said? It's not their "policy" to give refunds and "sorry I feel this way". Now almost a year later, still don't have the leads they agreed and promised to. Of course they have all my money. Complete scam artists.
I don't like having to leave a phone number to be spammed just to get a rough estimate... sites force you to leave contact information then get mad when you wont answer the phone... im not interested in talking to anyone... i just want an estimate...
Your form kept telling me that the phone number was not in the correct format. It was definitely in the correct format. I couldn't get past that field until I entered a phone number that I don't answer. So, good luck, $#*!s!
Grant at Realpin totally sold me on 30 quality seller leads. He promised that I would have 30 leads that were high-quality leads with good phone numbers and emails from his company. Over the course of 1.5 years, I only have received 2 leads that I would say are high quality and that i actually had correct contact information and spoke to the lead. The rest were junk. Either, wrong phone numbers and emails, or disconnected phone numbers and emails that bounced back. I did get more than 30 leads, but all but 2 were bad. I went through all the leads that I got, and out of all the addreses, only one has sold in the last 1.5 years and that lead that realpin gave me was a bad phone number and I don't know about the email because never got a response. I spent $5000 and only landed one listing apt. Total scam and liars. They do not deliver on what they promise. I didn't get the listing, so basically, I lost all my money and time. DO NOT USE REALPIN!
The lead "quality" is appalling. They charge a premium and the leads are basically just wanting a free CMA. Most are completely unreachable. If you are able to finally reach one, they will most likely be shocked and wonder why you are calling them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You would have better luck cold calling or stopping people on the street. It is absurd how bad these "leads" are.
They will lie about local agents doing well and buying more packages of leads. Do not believe anything because it's utter fabrication. The "leads" of someone who once searched for real estate on FB would be better than the trash they will send you. Customer service is non-existent. They will eventually get back to you when you threaten to escalate, but then will make empty promises and say they will send you more leads. When you leads "run out" (it's not clear how they count the leads dispensed, but in the end you don't really care because it's all been a pathetic and sad waste of your time, energy and money) there is no notification. I can only assume they do this because no sane person would ever buy another package so it's probably best for them to just slink away.
Purchased because I was told a local agent had tremendous results. This was a lie. No lead ever returned a call and when I was able to reach one lead they had no clue why I would be calling. I would have had better luck dialing randomly. When I reported that the leads were utter rubbish, I was told those leads would be replaced... they were not. SCAM
No one likes giving their personal phone number to get a question answered. Email should be enough to prevent SPAM calls from various people other than you.
Your advertisement, in my opinion, is false. Most times people like me go online for this type of information because we don't want to talk or be harassed by realtors. Your ad seems misleading.
Bait and switch is not a good look. "Free estimate in minutes" when that's unlikely and you don't mention that you'll sell personal info and spam the person other than in fine print
Not bad at all, been with them for a few months now. They provide high quality in timely manner with true professionalism. Hopefully they stays like this!
I haven't had the opportunity to use this site yet that is why I'm giving it a three-star maybe after playing around a little bit with it I'll give you the better rating.
I just wanted to get an idea of what my house is worth and you make me fill out a whole form so I can get bombarded with emails and calls from realtors and brokers. Not cool!
The process is simple, I just hope I am not inundated with emails and phone calls from real estate agents. I just want to know what its worth for my records.
I haven't gotten any info yet, why would you ask me to rate my experience yet, this is a bad way to get a REAL idea of what people think, as now I feel annoyed, and lower my 3 stars a neutral response to a 2 star, also because there is nothing info given yet….
Total scam or should I say what they promise is nowhere near what you will get and they even backtrack once your a client. I was told that for $4000 I would get 15 listing lead appointments guaranteed within a 3 month time frame. I was told these are leads where the seller actually has stated they want to meet with an agent to discuss selling their home. I was told that for any lead that doesn't meet that criteria, the lead would be replaced. What I actually got were leads that were either totally fake or the people had no idea who realpin was and had no intention to sell their home or meet with a Realtor. The company gladly replaced the leads with new ones but all but one of these leads were real. After getting about 10 of these fake leads I spoke to the salesman who i think is also the owner and he said if I can get you one listing will you be happy. My answer was no. I was guaranteed 15 listing appointments not 1 listing. He then told me if Im not going to be happy with 1 listing then hes not going to give me any more leads. It was like he was bribing me to accept his compromised offer. I contacted him several times, always nice but always the same BS and fake leads. He then claimed I wasnt a good agent because these are great leads that everyone is succeeding with. I asked to speak to a manager or someone who has success with these and got the run around. Now the salesman has disappeared. So wasted $4000 and got 1 lead in 1 year.
A quick estimate without giving contact info, which will certainly be used to initiate robo calls and spam ad, not to mention outright scammers would be far preferable.
I do not want to sell my house or talk to anyone about it at this time. I need data due to a medical situation. I feel threatened by the note of agreement to receive calls.
Answer: Scam, they will not provide what they promise. They over promise and do not deliver at all, they are cocky unresponsive, unprofessional and rude. Worst experience ever.
Answer: They made promises that they never kept. The quality of the leads were from disconnected phones, to a hospital phone number.
The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with customers appreciating the simplicity and efficiency of the service, as well as the quality of leads generated. Many users highlight the ease of navigation on the website and express satisfaction with the potential financial benefits. However, concerns frequently arise regarding communication practices, particularly the influx of unsolicited calls and emails from real estate agents, which detracts from the overall experience. Additionally, customers desire quicker responses and more transparency in the quoting process. Addressing these concerns could enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty significantly.
