I had purchased a couple of gift cards, on did not work, call Raise Support, as soon as they checked on card they refunded the amount of Gift Card. Very helpful support team
I really like using Raise... Usually I am pretty self sufficient, but did struggle to find my way around my account to print the egift voucher. My call was taken quickly and answered quicklly. Thanks
I had ordered 3 gift cards and had only received one. Customer service investigated and determined that there were 3 shipments. I subsequently received the two cards. Thank you.
I had a problem with a Subway card I ordered that was shipped with a zero balance. I contacted Raise and spoke / chatted with Ashley and got a full refund very quickly and without any hassles.
Bernie was very professional and polite. He was very helpful in addressing my situation. He even stayed on the line and made sure everything was fixed!
I did a have problem with a purchase and I was helped quickly and professionally. Thanks to a great team. I plan to continue using this money-saving site!
Ivy was very knowledgeable about the company and she answered all of my questions. She was very polite and is a great face of them company. This is what Raise is all about!
Had an issue with a gift card where I couldn't register it to my account. Customer service identified the issue and got it resolved in no time. Great customer service!
Bought $400 worth of Toys R Us giftcards. I talked to customer service, they were great, guided me through the process and all cards worked accordingly. A+++++ - 1000 times better than CardPool.
I have several purchased gift cards that I can not get to. The account says it is locked and call customer serivce. No live person when you call and no answers to emails.
I should have read these reviews before I used the site. Hopefully, someone else will learn from my horrid experience. I was able to purchase a laptop that was on a 1-day sale from Best Buy, and I had two additional coupons that I could use. I decided to be extra cheap and save a bit more by buying gift cards from Raise. Big mistake. Huge! Four of the cards failed the Best Buy validation. I called Raise only to find out that the issue would take 7-10 BUSINESS days on their end to sort out. I couldn't wait that long. Meanwhile, Best Buy had flagged my order and wouldn't process it by just removing the fraudulent gift cards. I had to cancel the order and start over. However, one of the coupon codes that I had previously used now came up as "invalid, previously used". It was a $150 code! What a nightmare! If you sell gift cards, it seems like a simple thing to make certain that they are valid. If they aren't valid, refund your customers. I'll likely have to pursue a refund through my credit card company. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Raise. It's not worth the aggravation.
I used the site just the other day and was very happy with the resukts. I was able to finish my Christmas Shopping and save a ton of money. Best part. My relatives will never know!
Raise.com is a site where you can purchase gift cards at a fair value for the card & saving 10+% per card you purchase from there. Normally you receive the actual gift card within 7-14 business days. One card we purchase hadn't been rec'd so I emailed support to question it. Suzy replied back 1 wk after I submitted my first email & stayed on top of the situation until it was resolved. Suzy had kept me in the loop on everything that was going on. She contacted the seller & he said he shipped the card. The card has still not been rec'd, so Raise.com (Tiffani) has issued a refund to me. I haven't seen the refund show up yet in the account, so I can't comment on that yet. I've never had a problem with not receiving cards that I've bought before and Suzy from Raise.com was GREAT throughout the whole inquiry. I would HIGHLY recommend this site to anyone looking for gift cards at a special (lower price than buying them for face value) price... thank you Raise.com for being very helpful in this matter.
I had a Positive Experience buying ecard & calling company!
I am new to buying %off gift cards online. I just made my 2nd purchase, my 1st from Raise: an ecard from Home Depot ($50 for $46.25).
The sign up was super easy & I got an email immediately that my ecard was ready to use! (which I did)
The only glitch was the next day, I got an email asking if I wanted to buy the Home Depot gift card left in my cart.? This was a chance to call customer service (not all of these companies have phone #s).
I called during a weekday at 2:30, was told I was 5th in line, then waited 5 minutes & got a rep.
*Cons?:
Perhaps the sign up to create a new account is too easy. I was not asked to enter either my email address or password twice, although you can choose to show your password as you type it. I was not even sent an email link to complete sign up. So I logged out then logged back in myself before I bought something I could not get access to.
I was not required to call to verify I was a real person as reported in another review.
Ross took care of the review of issues and issued a refund in a matter of hours. I was pleasantly delighted at how quickly it was resolved without beauracracy. Thank you Ross!
Purchased a $100 Legal Seafood EGift card for $75 & a $5 credit and then just today I received a email from them stating:
"Thank you for contacting Raise Member Services. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you, but rest assured, every purchase on Raise is backed by our Raise Guarantee.
I have issued a refund for the total amount of $80.00 for the Legal Sea Foods gift card(s) in order R*******. The refund will be credited to your original payment method within 1-3 business days."
Well, first of all I never contacted them so I'm confused as to why my order was cancelled.
Update: Today I received an email with an explanation of why I received the refund.
"We are reaching out to you today from Raise is regards to your recent SiteJabber review. We are so sorry that no information was included as to the reason that your order was canceled.
An issue was found with the potential redemption of the gift card after it had been purchased, so a refund was completed for the order. Your purchase was refunded to ensure that you did not lose out on your money and you were not put out at the restaurant.
The promotional code that you used toward the order has been returned to your Raise account and will automatically apply to the next order that you place.
We apologize again for the confusion and are happy to answer any questions you may have."
I guess it could have worse and I had tried to use the gift card which I was planning to do this weekend.

Shopping is always simpler, quicker and fun. What make this standout are the reliability of service and, importantly, the knowledgeable and great support personal.
Do not sell your gift cards to Raise, they will not pay you back! I have complained to the BBB and the FTP already but I feel compelled to write on this platform to warn other consumers.
On June 21,2019 - I listed a gift card on Raise, it sold pretty quickly and I was given a withdrawal receipt once I withdrew. They claimed that it was going to be in my paypal account within 48 - 72 hours. I waited and nothing.
I reached out to *******@raise.com and reached a person by the name of Rhys - who claimed she couldn't help me at all unless I called. I told her I couldn't call because I was in an area with poor cell reception and even downloading those google call apps did not work for toll free #s.
She never responded, I emailed her over and over again with no response.
Finally, I got really frustrated and tweeted Raise and messaged on instagram. Raise responded via instagram and we have been going back in forth for the last 4 days with nothing being resolved.
They keep letting me know that it was sent in paypal but I spoke with paypal via chat and they saw nothing pending.
The instagram person stopped responding.
So I filed a BBB and FTC complaint.
So I sold a giant corporation my gift card i got from my birthday that I couldn't use because I am in the military and they took my money and will not return my emails.
They are scammers. I will continue to spread awareness and file as many complaints as possible to make sure I am heard. Just because you are a corporation does not mean you get to treat your consumers like idiots.
I appreciate the discounted gift card prices available. But, sadly, the 3 gift cards I purchased offered CASHBACK, which I never received; even 3 weeks now after I sent 3 emails to Customer Support.
I'm very dissappointed that Raise hasn't even responded to my emails. They even have a CONTACT BY PHONE prompt to click on, but IT DOESN'T WORK! When I click on it, it doesn't do anything.
I am considering contacting the BBB to report them for their FALSE ADVERTISING SCAM OFFERS OF CASH BACK
I lost $500 trying to save 2% by trusting this crooked company. DO NOT USE RAISE.COM.
If you forget to use it in 100 days, they will not refund the money and the card will be useless.
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?

We apologize for the inconvenience, Kelly. We needed time to contact the brand and determine why the cards weren't working. Now that we have concluded our investigation, we are able to provide you with a full refund for the 4 cards that you contacted us about. Please check your email, as you will find further information there.
