Bought 5 gift cards in all in order to buy a gift from Macys, saved $100 off of $500. Turn around time for ecodes was about 10-20 minutes unless it was your first purchase. Everything worked (used it in the next hour) so I'm pretty happy.
Like the reviews say, they do call you to verify some information even if you're a buyer, but it's no big deal since it's to fight identity fraud. Besides, they're just confirming information that's already in public databases anyways, no reason to be paranoid about your data.
Purchased a gift card from them weeks ago. When I tried to redeem it I received a message "authorization failure." The charge was processed on to my credit card weeks ago when I made the purchase. I have emailed them repeatedly and provided everything they requested such as screenshots of the receipt, the gift card delivery notification, and the message I receive telling me I cannot redeem it. Regardless of all of this, every single time I receive an email from them thanking me for reporting the problem and promising to resolve it and that is all I ever hear from them. They do nothing to solve the problem. I have already paid for the purchase on my credit card, but still receive the message "Authorization failure." The screenshots I send them are all inclusive and perfect. They simply will not do anything but promise to get back to me. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will never get this money back and I am just glad that it was only $25.
Been a raise.com customer for many years, tried to create a new account for family member, go through a purchase, and then have the order cancelled. Called customer support and it was a huge nightmare to try and get it fixed. Decided to delete my account and leave Raise. Recommend giftcardzen and other alternatives. The reviews regarding gift cards ZERO-ing out is true.

I have purchased several gift cards from Raise and have never had an issue using them. They have always been as described and the one time I contacted them, I received excellent customer service. Merrick, the customer service rep, went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommended!
DO NOT SELL WITH THEM. They will rob you.
This is not a reputable company and they will ignore you if you have any problems. It doesn't matter how long you've been a customer. Buyers have up to one year to use their gift card and then file a claim against you, and Raise will take your money without question.
It's impossible to reach their customer service and they don't care about trying to make things right.
I purchased a $200 restaurant gift card ( I paid $158.00) through Raise.com that I gave to friends as a gift. I called the restaurant's customer service to verify the card had $200 on it, and it did. I gave the card as a gift, and by the time my friends attempted to use it two weeks later, the card had a zero balance.
I called Raise.com's customer service, and was told that I would be refunded the purchase price of $158 - I am out the $42.00 difference because I now have to buy a $200 gift card to replace the one I had given to my friends.
So, not only am I embarrassed by giving my friends a gift card that didn't work ( they found out after eating their meal, and attempting to use it), I'm now out an additional $42.00.
If my card had the full amount on it when I received it, and then the amount disappeared within two weeks, it can happen to anyone else. My recommendation is to not be embarrassed like I was, and DON'T USE Raise.com.
While we were very disappointed not to receive the KFC gift card we ordered due to the shipper not sending it, we were very pleased with Josiah's settling of the matter when I called Raise. Our refund was issued quickly with no hassle. It's good to have a go-to company to buy gift cards at discounted prices.
I have been selling gift cards at Raise for some time now and have so much good to say about them! I get a great payout, the cards sell quickly and the staff is so nice! They will deposit directly into your checking account which saves so much time. So many companies give gift cards for rewards and you can sell them there get a great payout! The payout here is the best on the market for every card I have sold! All the best to Raise and the staff! I plan on buying gift cards here also. They help a lot of people!
After I reported the gift card fraud, the customer service replied me less than 24 hours, and returned the whole refund. I like the way Raise treats its customers and ability to resolve issue. Even the credit card fraud happens, I will still consider to buy giftcards from Raise.
I used them a few times, then it wanted me to verify myself, I sent in a copy of my photo ID and then they suspended my account. It's freaking me out because wrf are they doing with our personal info
I without a doubt recommend raise.com to anyone! Not only have I saved myself a bundle.(I believe I've saved nearly 2k in last couple months since signing up!) they truly have amazing customer service! Top notch! We bought so many gift cards from a single vendor there was a slight hiccup when we went to use them all in a single order. Granted there was 39, lol.& I don't necessarily rec doing that, unless over the phone perhaps, since most checkout systems aren't set up to accept that many. That said, it caused a major issue, the vendor thought it was fraud. It fortunately did get resolved. Raise customer support was right there for us throughout the process. When it finally all got worked out, 1 of the gift cards turned out to have been used by the original purchaser, according to the vendor. Raise.com *instantly* refunded us, no questions asked. My husband & I both are thoroughly impressed! They stand behind their GCs & their customer! Bravo Raise.com, bravo!
Ordered gift card for restaurant Seasons 52 for $200.00, went to the restaurant and it never worked... innumerable emails, 10 days later still waiting for my refund check. Ordered a Petsmart gift card, 3 weeks later that card never came, waiting for credit on my original credit card. Company willing to give me 5.00 off for my troubles! What a joke.
Hi Patti,
Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We have issued a full refund for the Petsmart and Seasons 52 cards you ordered. You should receive them by the end of the week. Our Member Services team will be reaching out to you personally later today.
Thank you,

I dont understand I paid over 200 dollars for cards and did not receive them or a note that they were delayed or back-ordered... I emailed them and got no response... Is this company on the up and up?
Purchased $50 card and discovered it doesn't work. Called up their support. Despite their courteous talk, they mentioned they cannot refund the amount. Called bank and disputed the charge. Why are they in the business if it's so untrustworthy?
Recently bought 2 gift cards. One from iTunes and another from Texas roadhouse. Both gift cards did not work. What a scam. Be aware! Never buy anything from then. Make sure u bring money to the restaurant if u intend to use their gift card. I bought 2 so far and both didn't work. And they have the audacity to tell me it rarely happens and i bought 2 and they both didn't work. Scam!"

I bought $300 worth of cards for Whole Foods. When I tried to use them at Whole Foods, I was told they were stolen. Raise refuses to refund my money. I have since discovered that it is against the terms and conditions of Whole Foods Gift Cards (i. E. it is illegal) to resell them without Whole Foods permission. Raise illegally sold me gift cards that didn't work! Furthermore, the Raise customer service rep asked me not to contact Whole Foods again and to just accept the loss. Seems clear Raise understands what they are doing and that it is wrong, with their advice that I not contact Whole Foods!
If you had asked me 6 months ago what I thought of Raise I would've given it 5+ stars. It was a great place to sell my unwanted gift cards, rarely had any issues with buyers, and got paid in a somewhat timely manner. That's all changed lately though. Now they're asking for very personal information including my Social Security, and holding my money hostage until I give it to them. I'm sorry, but I don't just give out my SSN number to websites.
Raise it probably a safe place to buy gift cards. I was a very reputable seller, and would never try to rip off a buyer. But I wouldn't recommend selling there. If u do sell there take your money out as soon as possible and don't trust them to hold your funds. They're liable to make you choose between your money or the risk of identity theft.
I had been purchasing gift cards from the site and everything was great. I was saving lots of money. Then I bought one card and when I called to check the balance, it didn't have any value on the card. I was very concerned because it was a high value card. I called customer service, and Fawn, who was very friendly and efficient, quickly refunded my money. I will be letting all my friends know this is a business that stands by its product and its customers.
Customer service rep. Wayne was extremely pleasant and very respectful, he answered all my questions and solved the problem that I had with a couple of gift certificate very quickly. He was very helpful and understanding
I have bought thousands of dollars worth of cards from Raise over the past couple of years. I was shocked to read the few negative reviews. I have never experienced anything other than stellar service. The few times there have been issues with the cards, I received very prompt resolution. I highly recommend a Raise.
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?
