Despite my long wait time, for which my rep Ava was very apologetic, my problem was solved very quickly, leaving me totally relieved and satisfied. Ava was very professional and knew exactly what steps were necessary to solve my problem. Thank you very much Raise for having customer service as represented by Ava.
Forrest with customer service was so nice and so helpful. He and the staff at Raise.com handled everything professionally, solved my problem quickly and efficiently, and they were such a pleasure to work with. It is so nice to do business with a company that values its customers. I couldn't be happier. Nice job, guys and thank you so much.
Really great, personal customer service, with a person (Ella). I locked myself out of my mobile Raise app (which I love). And sent the email from the app to set a new pin. I quickly received an email asking to call the 800 number to reset. I thought "oh no, this will take forever!" I was pleasantly surprised when I called, the auto system said I was 3rd in line, did I want to wait or program a call back when it was my turn, I waited, only a few minutes, Ella came on the line, super helpful and friendly, had me set up and back in the app in no time. Explained with a password they like to verify I was really me. I can appreciate that. Then I was on my way to the grocery store to use my gift card with my mobile app. Thanks Ella!
Had a situation that I thought would be difficult to resolve. Spoke to a woman named Suzy, and she fixed the problem extremely quickly. I'm fairly new to Raise, and had liked my experience there, but now I LOVE my experience there. Terrific people and service.
I had a very store-specific question. While the customer service rep was't 100% confident that her answer was correct (it was correct), she put me on a brief hold to make certain the information she was giving me was correct. She also showed me a feature on the app that I was not aware of. Very good customer service.
Had a terrible experience with Raise.com. I bought a used Kohls gift card from them two weeks ago. However, when I tried to use it immediately after the purchase, the gift card was invalid and could not be used at Kohls. I contacted them immediately. At first, they denied that the gift card was invalid. Then after many emails with screenshots, they finally agreed it was invalid and agreed to refund me. However, after 2 weeks, I still have not received a penny of my refund from them. I contacted them many times but no response. Finally, after 10 emails, someone replied and said the transaction was reversed and there should be no charge. I then sent the person my credit card charge history. They just denied it was their transaction. After I sent them the screenshot of the email confirmations, they stopped responding. So, now, after 30+ emails, I still have not got my money back from them. NEVER buy any gift card from them. If anything goes wrong, you WON'T get your money back. Their so-called one year guarantee is a total joke.
I had a problem with a gift card, it had zero balance when I went to go use it. I sent an email right away letting the company know what had happened. Within two days I got a full refund back to my account. Thank you thank you!
Excellent! I spoke with Clark this evening, He guided me through the
The web so that I could access my account information. A Gentleman,
He made sure crossed every t was crossed and every I dotted before
Being done with the call. Problem solved, producing a result. Yes!
I got it!
Raise is very fortunate to have the voice of a young man like Clark representing their Customer Service.
Be well and continue to be you!

Card was provided at a significant (but realizable) discount & shipped quickly; after successful registration at the provider's site and successful use of a small amount of funds the card was discovered to have a $0 balance - which Raise acknowledged (and remedied) by refunding the cost of the original transaction.
Received a gift card with no value in it. Called the customer service and representative Wren help me to due with this problem. After a few questions, she told me not to worry about and issued the refund immediately, really appreciate with her help and this makes me not fuss to shop in Raise!
So happy with how fast my questions were answered. Made the steps very simple even I was able to understand how to do both things. I can't say enough nice things. I have been very happy with raise and extremely happy with all the help when I needed assistance. Thanks!
This is my second encounter with Raise.com's customer service, I purchased a $50 Steak n Shake card while at that restaurant. The purchase went through but the e-card did not show up on my device, I wanted to save the 15% on the meal then but the e-card did not show up in the "wallet" on their app, the receipt stated that most are immediate but can take up to 24 hours. I called Raise.com and spoke to Naevia who quickly looked into this for me and was able to push the transaction through the approval to get my e-card delivered to my "wallet". I have had a very positive experience with Raise.com and will continue to use their service to get the most value from my dollar.
It has the best prices on gift cards and the customer service is great. I had a major a gift card from Zara (and Zara was horrible. They couldn't even trace a thing regarding the gift card. Never Never get a Zara gift card. You will always lose whenever there is an issue. They don't even have transaction details.)
Raise.com stepped in and resolved my problem quickly and put me at ease. No one likes to lose money when you are trying to save. I
Waste of time, found a $100 JCPenney eGift Card for $81, checked back in a few minutes to find the order was canceled without an explanation. Money was withdrawn from my account and then reversed, which means it will take at least a few days to be returned. Why on earth would I be charged in the first place if the order was just going to be canceled on me? Won't try this again.
This is the 5th or 6th time I have had a card rejected when I when to use it, They refund your money for the card which is fine but the inconvenience is almost not worth it anymore. Why should the end user have to suffer because the card is no good. The seller should be held accountable
I wasn't sure about buying gift cards/vouchers this way but my experience through Raise has been great. It seems as they care about security and really want you to have a good buying/selling experience. When I had an issue printing my voucher, Naevia, from customer service, was extremely helpful. I have turned several other to Raise.com as I have found this site to be very beneficial.
I bought three Starbucks eGift Cards from them over two weeks ago. None of them worked (and I tried them the moment I received them). Today, 15 days later, I still have not received the refund they promised me. They had no issue charging me the day I made the purchase, but apparently any kind of timely refund is out of the question. Today I received an email stating that they were still looking into it and to wait until next week. What is there to look into? They sold me bad cards. Refund my money.
I will be disputing this with my credit card company.
I ordered a gift card to give as a gift. My friend went to use it and there was nothing on it. I called raise and they gave me my money back and extra! A great company that stands behinds what is purchased.
I purchased a Yankee Candle gift card from Raise.com in January. I immediately spent about half of the money on the gift card initially when I bought the card, but waited until now (September 2016) to spend the rest of the money on the card. To my surprise, I learned that somehow my gift card balance had been depleted and I was unable to purchase with my additional cash on the card. This initially made me very upset and I was beginning to lose faith in purchasing gift cards at a discount. Thankfully, Raise.com rectified the loss I had immediately, and the customer service representative that I worked with, Wren, was extremely responsive and easy to talk to. Raise.com has totally renewed my confidence in purchasing gift cards at a discount. I will be sure to purchase additional cards from Raise.com in the near future. Thank you so much!
This website is a complete rip-off. I purchased two AMC giftcards worth $20 each from this website. It was selling for $18 each, and they had a $10 discount for a first-time purchase. I thought this was a good deal, so I bought it.
First, I tried to redeem my gift cards online, but it doesn't work on the AMC website.
Then when I went to my local AMC theater to buy a movie ticket. When I gave the concession purchase my gift card, they only gave me $10 per gift card. I was completely ripped off.
When I emailed customer support, they said they'd refund me $16. However, they then said that I used both gift cards on 2 separate dates, when I only went to AMC once, and didn't get my full value back. This is so outrageous. I am upset beyond belief.
I basically spent $26 for $40 gift cards and lost $6. Do not use this website. They aren't trustworthy.
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?
