Recently signed up with raise and listed three gift cards. All three cards sold quickly and was sent to buyer, but raise hasn't paid me. Great way to make a business for yourself scamming people, raise. I'm not going to let this go, you'll pay for this!
Terrible company.
Frustrated that no where on the Raise.com website, does it indicate that a Visa Debit card is not an acceptable form of payment. I called my bank and registered the card and spent a lengthy period of time with both the bank and raise representative trying to use the card only to learn that it is notable acceptable form of payment.
I have bought a number of cards from you over the last few years and can honestly say that I can recall 5 that didn't work for some reason. The reason I keep buying from you is because getting a refund has never been a problem. If it was a hassle getting a refund I would have stopped buying from you a long time ago. Thank you for making the transaction so seamless.
Bryce was great is assisting me with my call. He also gave me a great idea with how to present the code to the person it was going to! I greatly appreciated it! This was my first time purchasing from them and I will be a member for life!
I spent $85 after discount and coupon to receive $100 gift cards. But when I went to use the cards, they had zero balance. I raised the complain with Raise and asked for the cards loaded with $100 balance. They refunded the $85 that I spent. So now I need to look and wait for another such deal again :(
I was very pleased with the way my inquiry was handled. I should get my refund within a few days. The amount on the card I bought was less than what it should be. The difference was a little over $20. This is an important amount of money for me, so getting the refund means a lot to me.
I ordered 3 gift cards from Raise. When I tried to use 2 of them, and called the number on the back, I was told the accounts were closed. I called Raise customer support and was promptly issued a full refund. The person I spoke to wa very polite, helpful, and apologetic. I was relieved to find the company stood behind the cards they sell!
Had issue with Dillards online order, store cancelled 6 processed online order with no further assistance was able to contact Raise specialist Lovely whom was understanding and receive refund on Dillard's gift card purchase with no issues. Thank you for the great service!
I started a chat today with the idea that I'd either HATE RAISE.com or they would win my patronage. Well they blew me away! A++++ Michiko was simply AWESOME! And uber fast to respond and fix my issues
Excellent customer service. I appreciate very much for the person to help me for my request. He is very proactive and excellent in his support. That is the reason why I am always a loyal customer with Raise.
Thank you very much.
I called in because the site wouldn't let me checkout and spent forever on the phone with some bum who said he didn't see a problem and told me to check with my bank. I called in again and got Fiona and she was able to spot a difference in my billing address instantly! She told me how to take off the old billing address and try ordering again. It worked! Very polite and patient when guiding me through the steps. That other guy was a waste of time. Thanks Fiona!
I had been their customer from 2017 and placed about 200 orders with them, but since last year, they STARTED to send me $0 gift cards, so when I tried to contact them, like many of customers here, I couldn't get them on the phone, neither answered my emails, so I had to dispute the transactions with my credit card company. Then, I noticed they suspended my account because I made the disputes! I also had to make a new account because I no longer have access to my old phone number. Now, they again suspended me and when I called them, they blamed me of making disputes, REALLY? You send me $0 gift cards, and then neither answer phone calls nor reply my emails, and blaming me for making disputes and new accounts? Are you serious? It's ridiculous.
Don't waste your money and time. There are many discounted gift card sellers out there who have a much higher discounts on their gift cards, sellers like cardcookie.com cardcash.com ejgiftcards.com all are legit and have a great customer service.
They take a huge cut of your sale but that is not my issue. My main issue is that I sold a card and cannot cash out. They ask a ton of invasive questions which I've answered 5 times and they still are not satisfied. I cannot cash out my money and my gift card is no longer available to me.
I ordered a gift card but did not receive it. After 30 days I report the problem to Raise Gift Card Support Team. They solved the problem timely and professionally, and I got the refund quickly. This is the best company in the universe!
When I went to check my account, after purchasing a $100 Macy's gift card, I seen that one and a $500 one! I did not authorize the $500 one! Now I am going through a dispute with my bank and the headache of having to get a new card and new account number. Ugh!
I was unsure if I wanted to purchase a card, called Raise and spoke with Sheila. She was so helpful and answered all of my questions. She was a pleasure to speak with, I wish all customer service agents were like her! Sheila is the best!
She took care of my issue quickly and with out questioning me unnecessarily. I have made a number of orders with Raise, and this is the first time I've had an issue or needed to call a rep. The support provided to me by Naevia, will keep me as a customer.
Their service is extremely bad, and they cheat customers by some awkward tricks. Especially they hide expiration date under a tiny link shown as "Details". You will be never aware about expiration date unless you open the very tiny link shown as "Details". How can a customer figure out expiration date is under a tiny link called "Details"
I have done 2 purchases my first one was great experience I bought a $250 Macy's card for $218 great. On my second I purchased a give cards of $150.00 for $141 when I went to the Macy's web page and put the give card number the balance of the card is $3.60. I call Raise.com they have put a dispute and I have to wait 5 days for them to take a decision. So now I have $141 on hold on my account that I can't use an ones the 5 days pass I would probably have to wait another 5 day's for the money to reflect in my account.
I am not happy at all this is a scary bad experience.
The young lady that solved my issue was not only professional but friendly and very informative. The patience she provided was very appreciated and I felt she was not condescending. I would highly recommend doing business with Raise again.
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
