I purchased a gift card that have a listed value of $171.11 and paid $167.06 for it. The gift card was only listed of a few minutes before I purchased it. I went to pay for something online and they only took off $166.67. I checked the value of the gift card and it was reported as $166.67. I called Raise.com and they will refund the money in 5-7 business days. The agent on the phone told me that they check the balances of all their gift cards. Really? So, why did I pay. 39 more then the value for a gift card? And waiting 5-7 business for my money back doesn't help me. I think I deserve more then an apology and refund for the aggravation.
A Starbucks gift card I purchased, and had used, was somehow used in a purchase in another state. I spoke with Carlton at customer service, and he refunded me the balance of the gift card that was fraudulently used, as well as the remaining balance on the card. Great customer service for sure!
Your service was excellent, Jesse looked into my problem and was able to verify what I could not discover regarding the gift card's user purchase history.
The problem was resolved and credit applied to my original account.
What a relief, I knew something was amiss and she was able to solve my dilemma rapidly,
Thank you very much Jesse, I will continue using Raise worry-free. 8561

I had issues with a bunch of gift cards and I paid a lot for them. Even though the gift cards were past the 100 days guarantee they refunded me the full amount that I paid without going through any hassles. I appreciate that they were willing to do that even though they are not required to but that is why I go back for them because I can trust them and they are committed to providing a great customer experience.
Had gifted an Olive Garden Voucher to a friend for his birthday. It was fair sized and he waited until he had a group to use it only to discover the voucher had been canceled due to an original fraudulent purchase. Raise went above and beyond to make the transaction right as quickly as possible. I was very pleased to be able to salvage an otherwise embarrassing event.
Bought a Starbucks card. After receiving the code, I transferred the balance to another Starbucks card. Within 2 days the card's balance was at $0, even though I didn't use it. Contacted Starbucks - they said the card balance was at $0, because it was an invalid card. Contacted Raise.com - they said they can't guarantee the balance on the sold card if it's transferred to another Starbucks card.
I didn't get a refund but was offered a small discount for the next order. Customer service at its best!
They have a horrible customer service. I had 2 orders from them for Wholefoods. Because of some policy change at Wholefoods i was unable to use most of those gifttcards. When i requested for refunds, they said i will get a refund of about $210. What i got back was $40 and they simply say that i have used up all my other giftcards which is totally false.
Ordered 2 $100 gift cards for Tim Horton's Coffee. Used one for coffee one day for $2.01, next thing I know, card is empty/invalid. Same thing happened to second card. Used it to pick up remaining balance after finishing a valid gift card so I only used it for $0.05 and the remaining balance was $99.95, went to use it the next day and it was empty/invalid. There is something fishy here, either they are counterfeiting cards or they are buying/selling stolen cards. NEVER AGAIN. Submitted my issue to the site but no response yet.
And she even seemed to care! I goofed and my card not being validated for sale was completely due to my mistake and Ava actually seemed happy to help and track down where the mistake had taken place. As a customer, it's usually easy to tell if a customer service rep does not enjoy/like his/her job but Ava seemed to enjoy being the great help that she was.
Thanks, Ava! :)
The experience with the Raise Company Customer Service has been always excellent in my dealings with them. They are prompt and courteous when I have work with them. I would recommend this company to buy and sell with.
I sold my Dell promotional card to raise at the early September, but I still don`t get my credit. It is about 3 months. I was trying to contact with Raise customer service several times through email and call. But they never answer my email and they got a call and promise to follow up for this issue, but they never follow up for it. Why I need to wait and contact to them? I can`t believe they are doing this. I waste my times very much and I promise I`m not gonna use Raise anymore.
Ordering is super easy, fast and straightforward. I love it! And I save money:)
I have had to deal with RAISE.com customer service twice now. They are again super easy to deal with. It's fast and easy, not a lot of wasted time on either end.
This is the first time I have had a problem with a gift card that I have purchased. Fawn handled the issue quickly and effectively. I was sorry to lose the discount since the purchase price was refunded and not a new gift card issued but I understand the system.
Unfortunately, I did not receive one of the gift cards that I purchased. I contacted customer service through their website. The response that I received was prompt and thorough. It was a explained that there would be a delay in issuing a refund because of the terms and policies of the service. The thing that I appreciate the most is that the customer service representative followed up with me, as opposed to waiting for me to get back into contact with them. Additionally, after I responded that I still had not received my order, she immediately rectified the situation. This is the kind of customer service that encourages my future purchases!
I purchased to gift cards from Raise.com. When I tried to use them, they said invalid. I called and they refunded my money. So I decided to give them another chance. I purchased two more gift cards. Guess what?!?!? They are Not Valid. I will never purchase from raise.com again. What a fraud!
Gift cards sold on this site are originally purchased with other people's credit cards. The thieves then make money by reselling the gift cards on this site. I am a victim of this credit card fraud. Do not buy these gift cards. If your gift card was inactivated, it's because it was part of a scam.
I had a few gift cards I had left over from birthday and holidays. I just listed them and they sold in a day, they were able to send me a check after they sold. Oh and when my gift card sold I got a call from a real human. Top notch service. A+
Anymore, I feel there is no concept of customer service. You call a number and get transferred a few times, before the call gets disconnected. The call I had today to resolve an issue was so smooth. I had real customer service and the issue was resolved by one person and one call and quickly. I will continue to do business with this site.
I purchased a Chipotle voucher and I was told that it was invalid in store. The manager suggested I contact the company I bought it from. I contacted the Raise team and they refunded me quickly. I am extremely happy with the service and the site and will use it for years to come!
Kayla was able to rectify an issue that I had experienced with a Raise gift card. Originally, Jess had efficiently resolved my issue, but in speaking with the gift card issuing department, I learned of an oversight. When I contacted Kayla regarding this error, she was very helpful in resolving my oversight. I feel that both Kayla and Jess's exceptional customer service deserve recognition and hopefully they can be recompense in kind.
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
