I found the ad to be deceptive. I thought I was getting a 3 day trial period but what I was getting was one full report and three days of just the contact (worthless) report. Buyer beware.

I did the remove my information process and my information still shows on there site. I can't get them to to remove it, they don't answer there phones unless your buying something or the hang up on you once they realize you want your information removed... I think it's time to call on our congressman to regulate this industry. Let them see what it's like to have to jump through endless hoops...

4/11/16 Update: In response to my review, I received an email which again provided me with instructions on how to delete my information. Unfortunately that still did not work. I then emailed them again, and included a screenshot of the information I wanted removed. I received their response which stated, we have removed your information. I checked and it was finally gone. It is a shame that I had to jump through so many hoops to get this done when their competitors do this in one online step. I thank them for removing my information however, I still give them just 1 star for the vast amount of time over the course of the last several weeks and trouble it has taken to get this resolved.

We would be happy to help you remove the information and if you'd had a problem with the removal process we will help complete your request.

You will need to identify the pages with the information you want removed and email that URL to us at the address below.

It is true that we don't handle removal requests by phone, but I am very sorry if you felt you were hung up on. I'm sure it would not have been intentional.

Jessica M. [Radaris Rep] Hi Lin,

I'm getting tired of voicing my concerns and you guys giving me the run around. Like I said before, you have no right putting up personal info without their consent.

Hi Lin,
Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns.

All of the information found on Radaris comes from freely available public sources. Our goal is to organize it and make it more easily accessible and useful.

Millions of people use Radaris every month to find old friends and family, verify new relationships or research neighbors and acquaintances.

You are always welcome to remove information about yourself, but we must verify your identity in some manner before completing this. Cell phone verification is a common way to achieve this.

Response to radaris.
February 6, 2016

Once again radaris proves themselves to be a disgusting piece of work. I have brought my problem to their attention multiple times throughout the past few years and my information still appears on their site such as my name and town I live in. Also if you look me up on google a picture of a sixteen yr old girl pops up as a link to the radaris site under my name. Disgusting people... BBC states they are in bankruptcy and am waiting for the attorney general to get back to me. You can see their response to my previous post from a few days ago. If you follow their directions they sent it does not work to remove all of your info! They are a scam!

Disgusting
January 28, 2016

I subscribed for a three day trial. I changed my mind and followed their instructions on how to cancel. To no avail. I cannot sign in to my account. I called customer service, no one answers. This definitely is a scam. If I do not receive a satisfactory response I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I want my subscription to be cancelled IMMEDIATELY.

You would do well to choose a different company to perform background checks. Mostly inaccurate info belonging to different people, mixed with some accurate info, but that makes it completely untrustable.

Trying to find a family member. I know there've been lawsuits and one divorce for the person I was looking for. Those things weren't listed on this site. It lists many completely unrelated persons... MANY... on the records that should only be for the person I'm looking for. And the way the information was organized, I wasn't confident that I was looking at the latest information.

However, I'll report back if I find that the info panned out.

This site collects information from the web which is completely outdated and uses your picture without your consent on their site.

They have no working mail, phonenumber, customer service. Do never send them any more personal information, it is a scam they require these details to get your account removed, they will just have more information of you in their record and are very happy you provided this to them so they can sell it.

This scam site is setup by scam Gary Norden. (*******@radaris.com, *******@radaris.com) and Nicholas Harris (*******@radaris.com). They use a differen BVI registered companies to hide themselves (now ACCURACY CONSULTING LTD.).

If you want to make all your detailed information public use them, if you want to get your information removed, sue them.

I wish the a$$holes that run this worthless website have a miserable life. I've told them not to post my personal information on their website because I have a stalker that I'm afraid of and they take my information off for a while then put it right back up there later. I really hate radaris and mylife.com and other companies like them who post people's personal information against their wishes to not make their information public. In my opinion, they also help thieves gather information for identity theft. Am looking for group to form a class action lawsuit against them.

This is a form of blackmail having a person join their service in order to remove my private information. I don't wish to join their website. These SHAMEFUL SCUM BAGS,

I have used Radaris before with somewhat mixed results. I decided to use them this pat month, but wanted to use their service for 1 month only this time. They tell you that they'll automatically charge your card every month unless notified. Here's the catch though; you can contact like myself on two different occassions: one via voicemail because all of their operators were busy and one via e-mail in which they never responded. Saturday I checked my checking account and lo and behold Radaris charged me $24.99 on the weekend when I have no chance on speaking to someone about the charge. I told them that I am going to file fraud charges against them through my bank and have already done so at this time.

I actually have the same concerns as Ami B. Ami I am so sorry, I have also been subject to stalking and this is the only website that is also directly putting my safety at risk. The few other public record sites I encountered have immediately honored requests to opt out. I have been exchanging emails with radaris for a long time now. I emailed them a few times with no response, tried again this past June, and exchanged emails with them since then to no avail, if you can believe. My information was displayed on their site and also https://address.radaris.com (full address and some incorrect information about me). They told me that the information can be removed once you control your profile. I now control the profiles attached to my name, but my information still remains at https://address.radaris.com. Which just recently turned into https://homemetry.com, which is still linked to Radaris. I emailed them yet again about this and they never responded. This is unacceptable. Ami, thank you for sharing your experiences and concerns and I have also taken the steps to report to my attorney general's office, BBB, and the FTC.

This website is a fraudulent company has a lot of false information publicly posted about me on their website (as well as hundreds of other people), some of which could be considered slanderous and could actually hinder future employment opportunities should a potential employer google search my name and find this website. The scariest part is I have had a male stalker in the past and not having the ability to take down my photo or any of the false AND true information (such as the city I live in) that was posted about me is a down right threat to my safety. I created an account just to have this information taken down and you can't. I even contacted Radaris concerning the issue and the link they sent me to take down false information only worked on very little of the content, but like others have said, not your resume, photo, the city you live in- pretty much the important info posted. There is NO customer service. They just don't give you that option, nor can you delete your account. They are truly a scam website. This business approach is totally unethical. I am going to contact the BBB, the FTC, and the attorney general's office, and advise anyone having the same issues do the same.

First "Jessica" is a made up character. She doesn't exist. These are criminals hiding behind "privacy" while they exploit a loophole in the privacy laws. They have no customer service, do not remove your information EVER (hiding is not the same as removing and I guarantee they still sell it even if you "remove" it) and steal more information from you if you try to opt out. The only way to get rid of them is to get congress to pass laws to make them illegal. Then maybe we can all visit them in jail where they belong.

Oh and I think we all know that the majority of "good" reviews are either from a plant or a pervert spying on a neighbor.

Radaris unethically, with malicious intent, hijacks identity information with a proprietary webcrawler. As if Radaris could legitimize their actions and existence. I'm just doing research before posting my tutorial on how to block Google search results from displaying any Radaris domain in all major and IE related browsers. Very useful for blocking all of the photo's and identity information Radaris has been hijacking. Good day to you all.

I happened to find information about myself. The phone number listed was changed 10 years ago, the occupation is wrong, the education is wrong and the ethnicity is imprecise. I am Polish rather than a generic Eastern European. The entry also lists the former owner of my house as still living there!

How could Radaris stay in business?
