The company's reputation is significantly marred by consistent complaints regarding its customer service, characterized by long wait times and ineffective support. Customers frequently express frustration with service interruptions, data limitations, and issues related to device functionality. While some reviews acknowledge the friendly demeanor of customer service representatives, the overall sentiment leans heavily towards dissatisfaction, with many describing the service as unreliable and inadequate. Positive aspects are scarce, primarily focusing on the accessibility of low-cost options, but these are overshadowed by pervasive concerns about service quality and responsiveness.

Terrible company! Brought my own phone to QLink and was told it's "too old to operate with their system"... My phone is from 2017. So I brought a brand new one manufactured in 2020 and after 4 hours over 2 days of calling them was told the same thing. We even asked to talk to a manager and was told no, we asked for some compensation or proof their service works at so and was denied.
This a call to the Pennsylvania authority
Dear: sir or madam
Qlinkwirdless scammed and took my money for no reason. No phone no service and my money was gone. After several phone calls and e. Mails requests to get money back, qlink wireless intentionally and purposely choose no to respond and took my money, this mafia of crooked people should be brought to justice. Now I'm addressing my issue to Pennsylvania authority to open a serious investigation and find out what is going on? And why nobody is taking serious lawful actions to protect victims of scam and theft... If qlink wireless is waiting for me to get exhausted and give up that will never happen and I will continue to unfold the scam and abuse im going through...

My tmobile signal is great, I get Unlimited data, talk & text. No issues with bringing my own phone. So far so good.
Their website stated my own phone would be compatible - it was not. Waited 45 minutes on phone with customer service, got disconnected, and they did not call back. Called the next day, and no help from that call too after a 30 minute wait for a customer service rep. Foreign customer service reps, hard to understand, talk soft and fast. Qlink also takes forever to mail you a different phone.
I've had my Q-Link wireless phone service for approximately 5 years, since I became disabled.
Their customer service is atrocious most times and on its best day, just OK. The reps are generally unknowledgeable and put me on lengthy holds while they probably have a supervisor walk them through the fix.
I checked THEIR website for a phone that would be compatible with their service and chose one, (235$) only to have them tell me it's not a compatible device! Their solution? Buy a new phone.
I've had customer service representatives argue with me, tell me I was wrong, and tell me I didn't know what I was talking about.
The good things about their service are; wide service areas and moderately strong signal, that's all.
I applied, got a SIM card in the mail and installed it. I followed the directions to the letter and it did not work. Not only did it not work, but it made my phone completely inoperable. Be careful if you're using your own phone. Fortunately I was able to remove Q link's SIM card and do a factory reset. I found an app that allows me to at least have wifi phone service. That's better than nothing... and that's what Q links service is. Nothing. Zip. Nada. No customer service either.
Yes, it's a free phone - but after less than 2 weeks, I've canceled. I was promised tracking when the SIM card shipped - didn't get it. I was promised answers when I emailed - didn't get them. I called, emailed, and used live chat to try to resolve issues. I wasn't able to receive calls, but everything else was fine. Techs kept insisting that I had forwarding on, and I didn't. After the third try to get an agent to UNDERSTAND my concern, I gave up. Called and asked to cancel - and another agent rambled for nearly an hour how she could "correct the issue." She completely ignored my repeated requests to just cancel the service. HORRIBLE. Don't bother. Yes it's free, but it's NOT worth it. Since I couldn't receive calls, I lost out on two job opportunities. I don't appreciate it - not that I expect this bottom-feeding company to care. Don't do it!
No service, no human contact, worthless robots. I am new to Q Link. I was approved for LifeLine service on October 18th and was told that in the next few days that my sim would be sent out and I would receive an email with tracking information. Every few days I would try their "Live Chat" and the robot would tell me the same thing "your sim will be mailed in the next few days and you'll receive an email with tracking information". Today is November 1 and their robot just told me "your sim will be mailed in the next few days and you'll receive an email with tracking information". I tried calling them and got the run around from another damned robot.
Don't apply for their services! For a free phone! It's a Waste of Time! It won't even last a year!
I decided to try this company, since on their website it stated I could bring my phone and keep my phone number. I applied online, approved etc. Then they stated that I needed a new phone number. Ok. Next it took forever for the sim card to arrive, and once it did, I had problems with it. I called customer service, the man asked me if I bought the phone from Walmart. My husband and I purchased two phones from the Sprint store. Then the service tech proceeded to tell me that my 3yr old phone was bad, and they had no towers in the area. That's not what they said on the website. So he said I needed a new phone and to upgrade my service with them. Not today. I hung up my husband's phone, then made sure that I still had service with my previous provider, which I did.
Very cheap phones. Won't work with many apps. Internet reception can be bad. Got a cracked screen. Requested sim and its now 4 business days without service. Tracking says its shipped yet.
My crappy Qlink Huawei phone died one day, so I bought a good used iPhone 6 at auction. I contacted Qlink via the web page for a sim card. I went without a phone for 2 weeks waiting for the sim. Talking to a rep is almost impossible--you'll be disconnected after waiting an hour on the telephone. Cellular data is spotty, but the phone service is very good. For the price--it's a good deal--free. No charge, nada--and you have a phone...
Absolute worst customer service and company I have ever dealt with. I'm a caseworker and I work with a client that does not speak English. I tried to get help for his account and did everything they required, which was to submit a document stating that he gives me permission to speak with QLink on his behalf. I emailed the document and received confirmation that I sent in the document and they would review it in a few business days. Weeks went by and I heard nothing. I called in to have them check on the document and they told me they never received it. Completely incompetent company and the customer service is atrocious. The customer service rep I finally got to speak to after playing with their stupid phone menu for 30 minutes could barely speak English and was very rude. I would not recommend QLink to anyone, in fact I will recommend to every client I have going forward to stay away from QLink. -10 stars
I have had Qlink for almost 2 years now and have had nothing but problems. I have had 3 months of service in all this time that I haven't had a problem. Until they illegally shut it off. They made me reapply, said I'd have service restored in 14 hours. Reapplied, called to activate, told I needed a new SIM card. Got it yesterday. Not compatible with my phone and tried to force me to buy a new one from them. I refused and told them to cancel my account so I can switch carriers and they refused to cancel my nonservice service. Their "service reps" are unintelligible and they refuse to allow you to speak with supervisors or tech support. If I could, they would have minus 10 stars. They are committing fraud, bait and switch and attempted extortion. If you REALLY NEED lifeline, stay away from Qlink.
I reported them to the FCC and they flat out lied in their response, so, since I gave the FCC proof that they were lying they have escalated the issue. I have now reported to and received case numbers from the FCC, FTC, BBB, FL AG, my state AG and Florida version of the PUC. Don't just leave reviews that they never look at. Report them to the agencies I listed. It's the only way to stop qlink's fraud.
I had had some trouble with my phone. I was able to speak to 2 polite gentleman in regards to my account they took their time and patience with me help me understand and gave me the right information they took their time and patience and for that I am grateful I have been with quick links for every bit of four years and I would recommend it to everyone!
I have ordered a replacement phone three weeks ago still no tracking number and very diffcult to get any customer service. Do not use this company for wireless service.
I recently switch to QLink and have nothing but problems with the phone. I have sent multiple emails with no response at all. I also called and after 5 minutes of entering prompts got absolutely no one! The phone Quest 5 will not return to a home screen and I have to restart it every time! I guess once they have you they don't care about you. LOL can't add picture because you also cannot transfer your pictures from your phone to anything at all!
Answer: Q-Link is a scam operation. REPORT to the relevant state and federal authorities ASAP! Reps are scammers reading from their scripts. Useless and intend to be useless.
Answer: Yes you can it also gives you two months free Amazon prime
Answer: It's not possible to talk to any human cause a real human wouldnt do the shit these fucking foreigner fucks do to people
Answer: I mean they provide cell service not internet that's two different animals all together. LOL you can turn your phone into a hotspot, which then allows you to tether your tablet to the phone and use its cell data but I think actually the only cost is $5 a month that's unlimited everything so I think just about anyone can afford that. But they actually send a SIM card which I believe was for the tablet and I never put it in so it could be it already came with cell service I haven't paid anything in months except for one time $5 and for all I know that was for shipping and receiving. As far as the $30 phone bill the government you already getting free service so you could apply that $30 towards the internet service if you have a provider in the area that's cheap but reliable. Good luck on that. If you need to know how to set your phone up as a hotspot you turn on Bluetooth for one but the best thing to do is just Google it say turn phone into hotspot and connect tablet for Android it will give you full directions.
Answer: Don't do it. It's not worth your time. Free is too much to pay for this piece of CRAP.
Answer: To my experience with this company since 2018 i never had to pay a dime if your being asked for money RUN run very fast they are trying to scam you because this program is 100 % free --phone --sim card --activation--only money out of pocket maybe for 2nd time go around if you loose your phone drop the sim card in the garbage disposal or belter yet the toilet but no $$$$ ALL FREE
Answer: Mine dies the same if I go over a certain amount of data and have ro wait for the new month to get data back on the phone. Doesn't seem right as it should be unlimited huh?
Answer: If it is a real Qlink email and not someone phishing for info when the package comes don't open it, Write on it "Return to Sender" your singing the song in your head, huh. Depending on your age that was an Elvis Presley song in the 50's or 60's. If it asks for any kind of information do not answer. I get one that say my (department store) order is on the way. If you get a text message and says to send "Stop" to a phone number don't do it. Most likely it is testing to see if you have an active, valid number. Anything internet, phone or text that you don't know who or what it is "Spam it" and delete. Even if you know the person there's a chance when you open it. My address book got hijacked on Facebook and sent everyone on it a virus. I don't FB anymore. It's a pretty sorry person that sends a virus to people they don't know.
Answer: I agree with the previous answer I had SafeLink years ago it takes forever to get it's not as good a service I couldn't get calls inside of my residence. It was terrible I would definitely go with QLink it's so much better in so many ways I don't think there's a question here really. They even sent me a free tablet or I think it was $5 although it's older and it's slow it's free and it does work. You have to make sure you connect it to LTE or 4G rather than 5G it is not a 5G tablet nor I don't believe the phone is either it's 4G also.
Answer: Mine got limited data but still can use calls and text if you run out of data. And it's almost June of 2024 and I am still using my free government service. Maybe however you got this program ei. In WA state you have to be TANF or SNAP and sometimes you have to renew you benefits like my food stamps I have to do that every 6 Months in WA state. So maybe you need to check if that's what your state program works!
