I have a pixel 7 pro and have had to replace the original one and now the other one is cracked. I have had pure gear on another phone with the same problem. I WILL never buy another product from puregear. Trying to get a warranty replacement was mind boggling to say the least. NEVER AGAIN.
My first crack was legit, I did drop my phone on a rock. It took a while to get the warranty fulfilled, they kept sending the wrong product. Eventually the correct protector was sent. I have had to get new ones frequently (paying $15 S&H each time) and they randomly crack without trauma!?!? Shame on me for continuing this charade. I think I may have put my 4th one on yesterday and woke up to cracks today. I thought I paid a lot for the initial protector so I though it was worth it. I now see I can purchase replacements cheaper than the S&H fee. But why would I? This product is pure crap!
I have to admit I was extremely skeptical after reading the reviews here, but I submitted my warranty claim for my HD glass cover earlier this week. The message on their site said there may be delays due to Corona, so I figured there was a chance I had just donated my money to them. I was pleasantly surprised when they emailed me the next day and confirmed receipt, and sent me my new cover in 4 days. Very impressed, big kudos to PureGear.
I originally purchased the screen protector for my new s20+ from Bell for $50. The hole cut out that glues to the screen is terribly designed and unglues with in a week leaving a foggy imprint... just bad... real bad... how ever it gets worse... somehow the screen cracked in my pocket and then cracked even more when I applied littl pressure... I contact the company to get a replacement and they charge me $17
USD! YES USD to ship from Ontario to BC... don't waste your money...
I bought a Pure-gear tempered glass screen protector from Verizon and it was expensive. I had Verizon install it too. The first time I dropped my phone the screen on my Samsung Note 8 cracked and I had to replace it for $360. I also had an expensive case I bought at Verizon on it. I don't recommend Verizon for selling me junk or Pure Gear for their tempered glass screen protectors that do not work.
I bought a new phone and decided to purchase a screen protector, after a week... two cracks appeared, "HOW?" I never dropped my phone.
This company invest more in box quality not what in the box.
The " Limited lifetime warranty. +... fees apply" Unacceptable.
DO NOT BUY
I bought a charger in October 2018. Just a month after the charger stopped working properly. Since then I've been trying to replace it cause of live time warranty. Paid for delivery that still not happened. Chip stuff for quite expensive price.
I just wanted to say your screen protector sucks. Costs 50 bucks. Fell off my phone without breaking. Got the g8 thin q one- dude at the Verizon store said they would replace it once for free- lies. For 50 dollars I'd expect better quality.
Purchased the expensive pure-gear HD tempered glass screen protector for my new Galaxy Note 9. That evening within the hour after installing the glass started cracking both sides. My phone was never dropped and also had outer box case on it. Having trouble getting replaced at no cost to me. A month later still not replaced.
Fingerprint sensors are worthless for the Samsung note 10+. What a scam... Doesn't work from day 1 on at&t installed product... And they make you spend 2 hours on bogus warranty emails, chats, and return bs and pay to have another delivered. Worst customer service ever.
The product chipped and cracked within first week. They do not sent warranty replacement.
Paid shipping charges filled out claim form and after 15 emails with no phone calls
Picked up at all I went to pay pal to get shipping charges back This has been months
Of aggravation
Light weight car keys landed on glass protector chiped edge which has now cracked from small chip all across protector. Did not even last a week on brand new samsung galaxy ultra 22.
Expensive and would be a further $11 shipping to see if warranty any good. I don't recommend this product.
T- Mobile - buy this one has warranty against cracking - save receipt. Well it's a piece of crap - big crack across the screen - actually numerous cracks. 39.99 plus taxes. Thanks T- Mobile for recommending!
My son & I both had our screen protectors crack in less than a month. Put in 2 claims but was charged $11.95 3 times. Have tried contacting customer service with no response. Horrible company & junk screen protector.
Well did everything they asked submitted my claim with receipt attached. Never responded. Was within my year time limit also. I would never expect anything from this company their claim to reimburse you is a fallacy.
Find a more reputable company because they are just like most everyone else in it for themselves and their word means absolutely nothing.
Already paid the $9.99 fee. 5-7 the replacement screen should be here! It's going on day 30. Emailed them 4 times with the response we will send it out give us another 5-7 days. Called them 8 times left 2 messages and never got to speak to anyone. It hangs up after you hold for so long! Do not order these! Very expensive and won't hold up to their warranty! Go and order one off amazon! Way cheaper and just as good!
Paid more than we should have for 2 screen savers at our ATT store. I thought the lifetime warranty would make it worth the cost -- NO. My screen has cracked and when I went to the website to file a claim, I find that the shipping/handling is $11.95. I'll just buy one locally. I will not be buying Pure-gear products again.
The lifetime "warranty" process is a joke. Don't waste your time - so convoluted and complex so as to discourage from exercising the warranty. And, they charge $11.95 for replacement glass. If you use their discount code for new, comes out to about the same price. This review is all I can do with my impotent rage and the only power we have as customers is to collectively buy elsewhere. Their business practice is some of why everyone has good reason to be so cynical these days.
I'll never purchase products from them. No refund available, for a crap screen protector! Bubbles on the screen, are not able to be removed. Then they want to charge you for Shipping & Handling, in order to get another one! Talk about a RIP Off. " Don't waste your money or time on this BS Crap!
This over priced garbage was purchased for$49 at at &t to protect my note 9 yet week 1 cracked starting at curved edge, replaced for 9.99 had sure put it on this time glue kept coming loose till it slipped & cracked a 3rd time in month out in pocket took it out &edge had a crack. Reportedly attempted contacting Pure Gear customer story, they never reply! Screw them I hope they go out of business!
Answer: No product received no way to connect them. PAId FOR SHIPPING ALSO
Answer: SCREEN PROTECTOR CRACKED. THEY IGNORE ME, I CANNOT GET REPLACED. TRYING FOR OVER 6 MONTHS. WARRANTY EXPIRES FEB. 2020. I WILL NEVER BUY PRODUCTS FROM PUREGEAR.
Answer: It won't be. I hope you didn't pay the shipping fee because you won't see that either. Consider forgetting about it or possibly editing your review to reflect your current situation with their customer service. Consider also putting pressure on the place where you bought it to stop supporting an expensive product that doesn't do what it's being used for.
Answer: PureGear does not honor defect products and ignores submitted warranties. NO REPLACEMENT, ON RESPONSE. PureGear does not answer telephone number 1-877-570-4327 AFTER HUNDREDS OF PHONE CALLS. RINGS ONCE AND HANGS UP. ANYONE SELLING THEIR PRODUCTS IS IN COLLUSION WITH PUREGEAR.
