WHAT A JOKE!
September 4, 2020

I usually don't write reviews but I have a better chance of winning the lottery, a much much much much much much better chance that I do of getting a hold to someone at PSI or getting someone to respond to my multiple emails. They are a true JOKE, JOKE, JOKE. BEEN ON HOLD FOREVER, multiple times trying to get an answer on my scheduled test as I do not see it schedule anymore. Already had to reschedule it twice due to testing centers being closed at the last minute due to COVID. Wasn't told until the last minute that the testing centers were not going to be giving the test after I had prepared for hours. Keep getting told on there automated telephone service that if you email them you will be emailed back in 24 hours which is truly a lie. I emailed them numerous times with no response. I am starting to wonder if anyone works here.

The worst customer service I ever had. Exam paused in every 2 min. Every time disconnected the Proctor asked me to show ID and video footage around the desk and room. I been doing this for 3 hours. 2am-5am EST. They have very low quality exam software. Not sure why NY agencies using them without proper verification. I have lost money, time and I am not going to take any more PSI exam.

Terrible company
September 2, 2020

The people at this company are a bunch of clowns. I go take an exam, technical difficulties, can't take it. I schedule to take an exam online, I log on, connectivity error, can't take it. Customer service don't know anything. Still haven't gotten my fees back. This company is a joke and should be shut down before they do any more damage to society.

My worst nightmare
September 1, 2020

I have called 12 times. They never respond not ever. I have emailed 6 times not reply. I have to use them for my test but they need to release the hold. I will pay them again but nobody replies. They are absolutely terrible. I can see their corporate folks on the web site and if I could email them I would. They deserve zero stars.

My youngest daughter took the nursing TEAS test at one of the testing centers in Tampa. Halfway through her exam the computer froze up. They told her she would have to come back and take it again. The problem is you have to wait 30 days before you can take the test again. It wasn't her fault that they had technical issues. After numerous calls they allowed her to take the test again. She had to drive again to the test center and take off another day from work all because of their problem. My other daughter is now taking a Genetic Counselor board exam online. 40 minutes into the exam it froze and said call technical support. She was on hold so I called and they said they would call her. They did not call so I called again. This time they called her with me on the line and got her back and running. It is a 4 hr exam so hope it doesn't freeze up again! 3 other of her classmates had technical issues in the middle of the exam also. Board exams are already stressful then to have the test freeze up is not acceptable, especially when the exam is so expensive.

It has been one problem after another! I paid for my RE exam but they don't have record of it on their end? Then I went through my bank to get my money refunded after not being able to get in touch with a supervisor for SEVERAL WEEKS! I pay online a week after I had already been refunded and was then locked out of my account because they refunded me the money FROM THE FIRST PAYMENT! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A VERY INCOMPETENT COMPANY! I wish there was another company I could go through to take my Real estate exam this company is horrible!

PSI has stolen much time, energy, and potential insurance earnings by offering online testing... On my second online re-scheduling, their tech support took control of my computer to confirm that the technical issue is on their proctors' ends (I've now gone through numerous online proctors). Now, I've finally rescheduled for an in-person exam. Why does PSI even offer online? They have stuck a pole up my end and are far away with little care. Our state commissioner's office has received numerous complaints. They are far worse than ProProctor, as they admittedly could not provide me with an online proctor (twice!) I feel terribly violated, and our state has only partnered with PSI. Their tech support lady, who admitted their incompetence, sent me to customer service to report this. The customer service lady received no ticket number or any background on the incident and assumed it was my fault and said that I made it difficult by not remembering the tech support lady's name or to obtain a ticket from her... the tech support lady said not to worry and that my situation was being documented. PSI has violated my time, money, and any future life insurance sold between now and mid-September (when my in-person exam was earliest available). If those doors are locked on September 10th, then there Weill be time and money invested into a direct lawsuit.

Doesn't respond
August 26, 2020

I'm in the midst of a family emergency and emailed them two days ago, yesterday, today and have called three times. No response. I emailed in time to reschedule but am now going to probably be told it's too late even though I reached out in time. Awful customer service. I was on hold for 32 minutes and a recorded message told me "we can't help you try online" which I've already done. Then it hung up on me and now I'm on hold again for over ten minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. Wish I could have chosen to take my certification elsewhere.

My AANP exam was unexpectedly CANCELLED by PSI less than 48hrs before my scheduled writing date. Customer service from this organization is hard to reach, and when you speak to a representative, they offer no meaningful help. While waiting on hold, I scheduled myself for another exam 3 hours away that I had to write the next day. All other alternatives would have delayed my exam an extra month. Ridiculous.

If you intend to write the AANP exam, I recommend also scheduling for the ANCC exam at a different writing location.

Register for an account online no confirmation email. The system lacks of basic functions so I called them for 3 days and it is hard to get hold of them. I send several emails to different email addresses and finally someone replied and called me back. Extremely rude and not very smart customer representative kept saying she was the "supervisor" and didn't know all the problems in their system.

Almost 3h with Tech support, 8 times camera security scan and still I was constantly interrupted during the test by the proctor to increase lighting, and when I stood up to turn the overhead on she told me not to leave the room? Seriously the light switch is in the room. I got to question #8 and decided the $1,000+ certification was not worth the stress and frustration this experience induced.

As all other reviewers have written, PSI is THE WORST company I have ever dealt with. NON EXISTENT customer service. You will literally wait on hold for HOURS at a time, and if you're lucky, you'll get through. Many times, the call will just disconnect and you've wasted hours of your time. This entity has a MONOPOLY on licensure testing, at least in my state. There is no other choice. I plan to file a complaint with the state real estate commission about this company and maybe if others do to we can get this entity either booted or at least fixed.

This is the ONLY go to source for these exams. 45 minute wait times just to be told "Hah, tough $#*!, call later" and kicked from the call. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO SIT ON THIS GODDAMN CALL LINE ALL HOURS OF THE DAY UNTIL ONE OF THEIR 2 EMPLOYEES CAN HELP ME. This is disgusting, and the fact they are such an important resource for so many people, with this level of incompetence, $#*!ing disgraceful.

I had my exam scheduled for today, August 3. What should have taken me 40 minutes to get to the Allentown location took 1 1/2 hours. Due to the hurricane weather coming up the coast, there were tree limbs down, road flooding all over, as well as accidents on both 22 and 78. I did not arrive at the exam center the required 1/2 hour early, but arrived about 5 minutes before my exam time. The employee at the exam center was RUDE. She repeatedly made comments about my tardiness(as if I didn't already know that!), my inability to READ the posted signs about 6' distancing, all the while I was the only one in the room with my mask on. I simply asked her if it was possible to take the exam regardless of how late I was. All she had to do was give me a simple yes or now answer, however she continued with the ignorant comments. I couldn't have cared less if I had to reschedule, and would completely have understood. She was a miserable unhappy person that clearly hates her job, with absolutely NO compassion or understanding. I finally told her exactly what I thought about her behavior and left.
I will reschedule my exam, and drive even longer to avoid this location. She should be terminated, as I am sure there are many more qualified, happier candidates that would love to have a job during these difficult times.

Wait times
August 3, 2020

You will wait on hold and then eventually will send you to a voicemail. You do not receive a call back. Then if you need to be transferred to a different department you have to start the whole process over again. Terrible customer service.

Horrible
August 2, 2020

This place is horrible, I'm mostly certain they mess with your test scores, I knew all the material and studied my behind off and have failed 4 times, they change some of the questions each time! Also Real estate salesperson exam is 110 questions but you end up doing 120 because as per them there is 5-10 experimental questions which they don't even tell you which ones they are! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, takes hours and days to be able to speak to someone to set up a testing day.

Rubbish!
July 27, 2020

Truely awful, exam 'centre' (e.g. 2 desks in a tiny office) was in a Regus building with no PSI staff on site. Exam was due to start at 9am - but Regus receptionist didn't start till 9 and couldn't find the office key so was late starting.
Then, 2 hours into the exam the internet connection dropped out. I had to phone a helpdesk in in Nevada from Sydney, Australia on my mobile but no joy, exam cancelled and looking like I'll have to retake it. How can these clowns set up an on-line exam facility without some kind of capability to cope with internet problem redundancy?!
