This dress makes me feel like a princess! Unlike some other dresses it comes out to be exactly the way it looks in its pictures. I'm totally going to buy more dresses from here soon.
Great prices and great products. They are out of Delaware. When you go to pay it says backed by Google. NICE! Dress arrived within 3 days and it is gorgeous! Will buy from them again.
My dress came in within a few days of ordering, and it was exactly like the picture. The sizing is near perfect. Only minor flaw was that one gem was slightly loose, but nothing major!
I bought 3 dresses at promgirl.com, I read all this bad reviews so I was hesitating to make the purchase, but the dresses were beautiful and cheaper than other websites. I hesitated for a year because of all this bad reviews. I changed my mind when I chat with an operator on their official Facebook page and look to all the pictures customers upload telling how happy they are with their dresses. So I make the purchase on june 17th, it shipped on june 19th and were at the front door of my house at 3pm on june 19th! I was so glad every single dress fit as expected and look like the pictures they had on the webpage :) I have to tell it was a great experience and I´ll definitely buy here for more special occasions.
This dress is even better once you try it on. I'm so excited to wear it! Perfect fit, great material, very flattering. Perfect balance between sexy and classy.
Very pleased with the ordering process, however, product (lace) was damaged upon arrival on my daughter's prom dress. Hoping exchange/return process will be an easy process as well.
They have very bad business practices. I orded a dress on 3/30/10. Got an email on 4/1/2010 that stated my item shipped and included a tracking number. As of today 4/6/2010 I still had not recieved the order. I called to get more info and was told that the order had not shipped and would not until 4/10/2010. Additionally, when I placed the order the website stated that the product was "In stock: Ships next business day"... that obviously did not happen. When I called I was told that the only thing they could do for me was cancel the order... they falsly advertised that the item was in stock and then lied to me in an email that my order had shipped when in reality is never did!
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the color had a slight variance. I thought the top was cream underneath but turned out to be gold. Everything else fit beautifully. Quick shipping.

My daughter went to your website and asked me what her limit was and I said please keep it reasonable. Well $114 later and 5 days later we had a great looking dress in hand! She loves it!

I ordered a gown from here months ago for a military ball. It was a final sale dress so I was taking a chance, but it ended up fitting and looked gorgeous for under $150. I plan on buying a simple white dress for my elopement soon as I loved the whole promgirl experience. My dress fit so well and shipped very quickly. The packaging of the dress even made me happy. Ordering such expensive dresses online is risky because you can't try them on before you pay for them, but if you're willing to take that risk, promgirl is a great website.
Some of the 1 star reviews on here are ridiculous. You need to read all the policies before you pick out a dress. If you get pay for three day shipping, it means three business days like 99% of other online sellers. If you pick out a final sale dress like I did, it's a big gamble but that isn't promgirl's fault. If the dress looks to be a different shade than what is offered, maybe your computer screen is off or the designer's pictures are adjusted by the designer. Promgirl isn't the manufacturer so it isn't their fault if a dress looks different. They sell authentic dresses from designers and they often have the absolute best prices from what I've seen. Do your research and figure out if you're okay with their policies. Don't complain if you don't look at their return policies and then are shocked when 10% of your refund isn't given back due to restocking fees.
First of all this company is not from China and the dresses look like the picture they are authorized to sell these dresses by the originally designers you can even look on Jovanni website Prom girl is authorized to sell these dresses.
The zipper on my dress didn't work, for $300 this is NOT worth it. The first dress was way too small, ordered a size up and the body fit but the waist area was gigantic. I send back both dresses and had to pay $16 to ship back, as well as a $30 for restocking. I just paid $46 to be disappointed twice and receive NOTHING. VERY ANGRY; DO NOT SHOP HERE.
Each dress is a designer original and we apologize the zipper didn't work correctly! If this information was provided when the return authorization number was requested, the dress can be inspected when it arrives and the fees waived for any damage. We bought my daughters prom dress from this site. The dress fit true to the size chart and matched how it appeared on-line. My daughter tried it on and we loved it. We had a little trouble with getting the zipper up when she tried it on and when it was time to take it off we could not unzip it. The zipper was not stuck it was a bad zipper. We ended up having to rip the zipper to get her out (no damage to the dress.) you could tell the zipper was bad. I called Promgirl and was treated poorly. I was very surprised. In order for a full refund I would have to submit photo (which I could provide) and they would be taken in from of a committe to determined if a full or partial refund was allowed. I spent $250 on the dress and had prom in a little under three wks. I was told it would not happened within that time frame. Terrible customer service! I will NOT be buying a nother dress from this site. Which is too bad because the dress itself is beautiful and I loved it on my daughter.
