Wrong item was sent. Despite repeatedly writing to them. They have not responded let alone refunding my monies. Please do not order unless you want to lose your monies- extremely poor customer service
They sent me the wrong book and won't rectify the issue. Actually I cannot get them to reply anymore. I submitted an unfavorable review and it never made it to their website; ironically only 5 star reviews are on the website. You will have no recourse if something goes wrong (like in my case). You would lose/waste your money (and the time you spend emailing them). They are in Malaysia (I did not know that until I received the Fede shipping email with tracking) following which I had a bad feeling about the interaction (only to have those feelings proven correct!).
They will send you the wrong book and it costs too much to send it back! I did not want or need a global edition! Just RUN! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO ORDER FROM! THEY SHIP FROM MALAYSIA!
I found this site pop up when i tried to search, it is because the cheap price i placed an order and do the searching of reviews. Found a lot of bad comments that makes me anxious after days with no update nor any contacts. After 3 days i recieved an email from fedex thats so much relieved but in my mind do they sent me the right book, but after 4 days here it comes i got the right book. Thanks prioritytextbook i got my book for the cheapest price ever.
I found out the store was located in malaysia not in Canada nor Usa
Horrible, Do not buy from these. Very dishonest people. I sent the ISBN no when I bought however, they sent the Global edition. Return is from your pocket. Sending it to Malaysia costs $80 more than the cost of the book. Even the cover was different.
I ordered the US Standard edition per my instructor's instruction and they send me the global. First the pic was that of the US Standard edition, next they ask that I pay for shipping of the book, and it's been over 1 month they have my book and awaiting for a refund. 0 Stars if possible, they have no honest and horrible customer service.
So frustrated by this website. They advertised a specific Edition which my son needed for college. I am a library technician and knew the ISBNs would align to specific textbooks. They sent us the wrong text book, with completely different ISBN and when contacted they said "It's practically identical", practically identical is NOT identical and having a different ISBN proves they are not identical. Why advertise one ISBN on their website and then send a different ISBN? That's false advertising. I recommend people stay far away from this company. Use Amazon or your school bookstore. We certainly learned our lesson!
I would give '0' stars for this site.
My order was supposed to arrive over a month ago. I tried to reach out to customer service, but no response. I've sent couple of message to inquire about my order status. No luck yet. There is no phone number to call as well Do not waste your money.
I sought to buy the Global Edition soft cover to save money and I found this site. I saw all these negative reviews and took a risk, and it came ahead of the schedule on the website even though I opted for regular shipping. Book is exactly what I wanted. Throughout my undergrad I always bought International/Global Edition books off eBay because they are the exact same contents as the American versions, but softcover and much cheaper. I could not find my book on eBay and this website had it.
Buy with confidence if you're in the same boat as I was.
The purchase was immediately flagged by bank. Can't believe I didn't check to see if it was legit. I believe they try to make you pay through paypal so you can't cancel your transaction.
Horrible experience-they advertised the correct edition of the book I needed for class and then sent me the international edition which I cannot use. They refuse to send me a return label and it will cost me $180 to return the book to Malaysia. They offered to help me resell the book in the US, I ship and then send them the confirmation of shipment and they'll refund my money. Sounds a bit sketchy. Save your money…don't buy from this company. RUN the other way!
I ordered a book, made sure like 4 times that it was the Eleventh edition not Global. Paid and waited, first off it came in late so class started and didn't even had the book. Finally gets here and the book is the GLOBAL EDITION! Which is not what I needed. Sent a message for return but the return will cost a little more than half of what I paid for the book. The book that they sent me doesn't even match the picture of what I ordered! If you see the picture of the receipt nowhere in there says is the global edition! Now im stuck with a book that I do not need at all.
I ordered ISBN ************** and got ISBN ************** which is the global edition. If I wanted the global edition I would have ordered the global edition. I ordered a specific item and they sent the wrong textbook for my college course! I don't care if they say it's the same inside! Did they read and compare every jot, every tittle, every word? I highly doubt it! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!
To top it off their return policy - you have to pay $30 S&H to return the friggin thing!
I have placed an order and received the wrong book in the mail, wrong ISBN, wrong edition. Customer service rep (Thomas Lim) refused via email to acknowledge the issue and refused to provide prepaid return label. The book was shipped from Malaysia. I would not order any book ever again from this company.
I ordered the 10th edition Global Marketing book ISBN#*******756 and my invoice confirms that. However, I received the Global Marketing Global Edition ISBN#*******021. They're both 10th edition but NOT the same book. I contacted customer service and told them of the error. "Thomas" replied after 5pm (first clue that this was an international company) stating: "It is the correct textbook. As stated on our book page and checkout page, we are selling International Edition. You must agree to buy International Edition then only can proceed to make payment." He followed up with an article from the New York Times and some other nonsense.
I reiterated that the books were not the same and even sent pictures I got from THEIR WEBSITE with the 2 DIFFERENT BOOKS and 2 DIFFERENT ISBN numbers. He sent me an address in MALAYSIA to return the book. It's $40 to return a $60 book. I posted a review on their website and it didn't show up. They only allow -star reviews to post.
TOTAL SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
They promptly delivered exactly the textbooks I ordered. I ordered two micro economics textbooks and they both arrived within the week.
Ordered a US Version textbook with the coversheet of the textbook shown on my order # *******. Instead I received a Global version textbook with a different coversheet and a different content. This vendor claims that their policy requires the purchaser to be responsible for the return shipping cost to Malaysia which is greater than the purchase price of the textbook. When in fact this Priority Textbook company committed an error in the shipment or doing this intentionally.
If i could give this place no stars i would. Their customer service is awful, they do not answer questions and they even sent me the wrong book and would not replace it. This company is a major scam. They are based out of malaysia and the textbooks they sell are not the correct ones advertised
Like some of the other reviewers, I received the wrong textbook and would have to pay the shipping cost to return the text to get the refund. The address they sent was to Malaysia and would cost over $300. They suck.
You need to learn the online purchase trap!
The feeling is horrible when I got the wrong book on Dec 18,2020.
I order one book fro PriorityText online book store by the local version ISBD and the right image of the book cover the store offered,
But, I got a global edition book.
The feeling is very, very, very bad! I don't feel we as customers get the respect—no trust and cheating to customers.
After that, I found they put two different versions of the ISBD code; one is the local version that I want, another one is the international/globalversion. It tries to attract the customers to jump into the trap because we will click the local version with the right ISBD and image book cover. Then, we ordered it.
However, I found they deliberately put the "Internation version" word in the book introduction; maybe they want to avoid the legal argument.
It is pure SCAM. Many people already highlighted this kind of issue after googling it; however, the storage company still doesn't want to remove the internet's local version image.
This kind of mindset is very terrible without customer-centricity! Good luck with this kind of negative company branding asset.
It is a good lesson learned that we should be sure 100% right before ordering it.
I attached the book cover image, which cover is the local version with the right ISBD (ISBD is the holy code recognized by the Frederal).
Answer: No. Be careful. While the picture and ISBN may show correct on teh web, it's most likely an international version. Older and incorrect. Checked with prof and it's not compatible.
