I sit here in tears because of their negligence. I will not get to see family before they transition, and they have my funds tied up where I have no other options. They allowed me to rent a car after verifying I only had a debit card., but when,, I get to the venue HAVE TO HAVE A MAJOR CREDIT CARD. THEN CHARGED ME A CANCELLATION FEE. I CANCELLED NOTHING! I WAMY WHAT I PAID FOR DO I CAN SEE MY FAMILY
Be very careful if you bid on their "name-your-own-price" system
For hotels!
What typically happens is, there are hotels that are lousy/filthy that no one
Will normally go to, and these hotels will take you up on your bid.
Think of it this way. Priceline mixes in a whole bunch of bad apples
With some good apples, and offer them to you for bidding. You will
Never pick a bad apple yourself, but if you bid on Priceline,
They will sneak one in, and you will be stuck with a non-refundable
Bad-apple.
It has happened to me twice. I'll be darned if I go to Priceline again.
Here are some user reviews one one hotel (the first two are from Priceline, the
Third from Yelp):
* Unloading car and was asked about buying drugs.
* Bathroom appeared as though someone had used it prior to my check in.
* On the downside though, the room was GROSS. It smelled mildewy and there
Was ketchup (I think) all over the walls and on the door.
The good news is, the reviews are reflective of the hotel's condition.
Priceline says they have accurately classified these as 1-star, 2-star, what have you. However, such a hotel is below any standard-of-service, and shouldn't even be in their system. They shouldn't get even a zero-star:-)
I book a hotel, within a few hours I find it cheaper I call the Guarantee to cancel, well they charge $150, they say it didn't match up with the exact same as what I had booked since I booked with the price match guarantee.
If I could give it negative one, I totally would. Priceline SUCKS! I mistakenly scheduled my stay on the wrong day and asked to change the day (it was an entire month ahead of time), and they said they would, but that I had to pay a CANCELLATION FEE (the price of the room) and then pay for the room again on the other night. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.
I reserved a rental car and I charged on my credit card immediately and now I can't fly and they refuse to change my reservation! So I have car reserved for a week and it's paid for and they did NOTHING!
Terrible customer service Complete waste of money took my money wanna just my flight they will not do anything to help me thieves they just take your money and will not help you
I tried to book a king size room. On their site it said the room was 54. When I clicked on the room. It took me to their page. Showed the hotel, address and reviews. I clicked THE ONLY button they had to book the room. Than I got a confirmation email for ANOTHER hotel! W-T-F? When I called and explained the glitch they said that is why I agreed too. But when there was only one button to press when it shows you the hotel. And you clicked on the room you wanted with reviews of that hotel. It SHOULD be THAT hotel! The customer service was horrible. They wouldnt even let me show them the screen shots on my end. Or even think their system messed up! Very disappointed and tooken ADVANTAGED of! DO NOT USE THEM BY ANY MEANS! THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS!
To good to be true,, had two bad experience with Priceline,, I booked a room,, but when I got there place was close,, plus no one would answer phone,, I called price y to see if they can reimburse me my money back or get me another room for another day,,, but unfortunately to Priceline they said Sorry we can't book you a room for another day or give you your money back,,, I THINK I JUST GOT SKAMMED,, NEVER WOULD I BOOK THROUGH PRICE LINE AGAIN,,, and I'm supposed to be aGOLD MEMBER,,, THATS A LAUGH,,, DONT DO IT,,,,
It was necessary to cancel my reservation due to health. The car rental agency was happy to refund my entire fee. Priceline refused to process a refund.
Not reliable company, they will not inform the passenger if any change happen to the flight, they will keep the passenger in the dark side, all what they care is their commission
We waited about 1.5 hours in line to process our order. Then we waited another 1.5 hours in another line, because no vehicles were available. Missed two appointments. Traumtic, stressful.
I booked a hotel room-at a hotel I have stayed before in Louisville, KY. The first time I booked was with Booking.com and I should have booked through them again. The hotel was inundated with guest-I did not receive the room I selected on priceline. The room did not have a working refrigerator, the chair was scratched-looked like 5 kittens and a great time with it, the lamps were unplugged-my 8 year old son had to climb under the bed to plug on and it was a blood stain on the curtain. These issues were brought to rep at Priceline as well as lady at the front desk. I asked for the room I had 2 weeks prior-she said they did not have another room to offer. Priceline rep stated they will try to get me money back but the matter could not be addressed until Monday, when the GM is available. This was on a Friday and I had my 8 year old son and a Havanese puppy-end result they did nothing. Took my money and did not reimburse it-did not call to follow up to see if I found another hotel or what transpired with the conversation with the GM. I called them 3 times to get an update. Thank GOD I had money to book another hotel-companies like this never prosper. It may look as if they are-but final judgement day will reveal all.
FYI: I have pictures, videos and snapshots of conversation with the reps-I am seriously considering taking this matter to the next level.
Priceline suggested a property that had recent burglery and was not safe. When I asked to change the reservation, they refused to do so and stated that my family's safety was not their concern.
Please please don't use their travel insurance policy for cancelation, you will have to go through whole lot of hell to get each of your penny and at the end you may not get
Worst customer service. DONT USE THEM EVER. They booked my room 15miles from the area i selected and would not change it and will not receive a refund. THEY GET YOUR MONEY THATS ALL THEY WANT AND WILL DECEIVE YOU TO GET IT.
Don't like 4th and 5th party purchases - redirecting and comparing popups are very annoying. I've been a member with Priceline for a very long time and intend to be with them many more years.
I made a reservation 3 weeks ago to Vegas with a return trip to Charleston. My return trip flight was changed to give me a 5 HOUR LAYOVER in Houston, which would return me to Charleston at a later time! When I finally reached customer service, I was told that each ticket would be an additional $600+ to change to another flight! PRICELINE IS A SCAM, DO NOT PATRONIZE THEM.
Difference price line and price not stable we can get it today tomorrow another price we come in. Let the product first and we following the price line
I have booked 5 flights in the past few months with priceline.com so you think they would be willing to work with me a little. I had a death in the family and had to adjust my flight and rental car by a day. I purchased insurance on the flight and had all the documentation needed (death certificate) and when the time came they said there was nothing they could do for me because I booked one of their special deal flights. I also booked the rental car and when I went to pick it up Hertz said I only paid the "base" fee which was $159 and tried to charge me another $675. I was completely appalled and said I wouldn't pay that. Priceline transferred me to 4 different people and refused to give me my money back even though I didn't use the flight or the rental. The website never should have offered insurance on the trip if it didn't do anything. I've paid for insurance on all flights and there is no point. They also were deceiving about the rental car prices. They refused to give me my money back for the rental that I didn't use and wouldn't even offer me a credit for that amount or voucher or anything. Do not use this company for anything!
They show you a low price then you click to get room and price increases and I tried to get a room that said available and no rooms anywhere was available
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
