The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

I can't say anything bad about priceline they answered our questions when we were delayed twice and didn't get to denver until 1 or 2 in the morning. We had just rotten luck on our trip nothing on their end tho just really good service. Even gave us a refund when we couldn't get our rental car. I will be using it again when we decided to go back to colorado.
Had a terrible experience from a so-called, ""all-inclusive"" resort, Grand Oasis Cancun in Mexico. Which I booked through Priceline. Got back a week ago, have been busy, and still trying to shake off the nightmare of the trip.
Tried to contact Priceline through their chat customer support today. Told them that I completely do not feel like I got my money's worth because it was not in fact, all inclusive. My booking was very misleading.
I was given the runaround, told to fill out the survey emailed to me, which I already did. As I was STILL TYPING, I got a response that said, "Perfect! We will review your response and reach out to the resort with your feelings of your stay! Contact us again in the future with any customer support needs." Then the chat ended... While in conversation. The phone call equivalent of hanging up on me.
What kind of customer service is that supposed to be?
I booked a car through priceline in my name. I was charged immediately, though I didn't realize I would be and it was apparently non-refundable, non-changeable and non-cancellable.
I was unable to make the trip. My husband got to the rental counter only to find out that he couldn't access the car. The rental company said it was fine with them to change the name, but it would have to be through priceline. Priceline refused.
I spoke with Chelsea (a "supervisor") whose employee # is *******. She kept telling me that there was nothing they could do. I corrected her to the fact that there was certainly something they COULD do, but there was apparently nothing they WOULD do. As such, I have disputed the charge and my husband and daughter will use Uber instead.
Given the number of alternative options in this space, it is staggering to me that they are so unwilling to accommodate their customers.
No problem, I will no longer be their customer. Good riddance priceline!
Total rip-off Priceline gets your money then they tell you where you're staying for the price that they gave you total rip-off hotel is old as dirt no security locks supposed to be full breakfast Continental must have used pictures from 20 years ago for the hotel will not recommend Priceline to anyone anyone that I know
Pre-Booked a room for a night in Capital City through Priceline. It was a Special Offer which Included Late check out etc. Rang Hotel to verify late checkout, before booking flights, and no special promo was received from Priceline. Contacted Priceline, and they passed the blame to a third Party who picked up the Deal. This Third Party then contacted Priceline, who denied there was a Promotion. Would avoid at all costs, going by all the other reviews i have seen.
I am happy now to be out of Georgia, where the only monopoly - priceline group is availbable. Tired of cheating owners who try yo deceive you, deceive booking.com and cancel booking. Even if you do not agree to cancel cheating owners set status of no show.
Namely booking number *******647 Hotel "Orbi Sea Tower Flat" in city of Batumi The only ID is phone number +995 555 43 43 77 address is Khimshiashvili, 15 block A, 5th floor room 5-08
On 1 June I arrived at apartment, contacted the host by phone, got in and paid money (200 GEL). Host's assistant Hatuna offered to cancel booking and pay her less money (120 GEL). I rejected that offer.
On 2 June I got message of "No show" with questionnaire to fill. I suppose that the host posted this status to not to pay commission to booking.com (*) I immediately contacted support and posted photos from inside apartment, photos are attached to this mail, I've also recorded video when the host herself came on 5th June to take back the keys from apartment.
On 4 June I got an email from your employee Artur stating that case is closed.
But it's not. Until now status of this booking is still "No show".
The latest message I got from booking.com was stating that once status "no show" is set it cannot be revoked.
That's not correct. I remember how several years ago I got in similar situation in Russia when a host set status "no show", but on the next day after status was changed to correct one with help of booking.com support.
But not this time. Support fro country Georgia is not answering my mails.
There is no phone support in small country as Georgia is. You have to make international call to Russia. It required booking.com 14 minutes to even pick up that call!
TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! STAY AWAY!
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET HELP FROM THEM ABOUT AN ISSUE I HAD WITH MY HOTEL RESERVATION. THEY ARE JUST NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. THE FIRST LADY TOLD ME THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME IN 3-5 DAYS. ITS BEEN WAYY MORE THAN THAT AND I HAVE TALKED TO THEM FOR TEN TIMES NOW. I AM JUST SO UPSET! DONT BUY WITH THEM! ITS NOT WORTH IT! I HAD AN HUMILIATING SITUATION IN ONE OF THE HOTELS I BOOKED THROUGH THEM AND ITS BEEN SUCH A NIGHTMARE!
I rented a car through Priceline. I needed to merely change the driver name because my husband (the listed driver) was unable to travel. I couldn't access the car, that I paid for, because my name was listed only as the reservation name, not the driver name. Every supervisor insisted that it was impossible to change the name! My advice... don't rent a car through them.
They are false advertising. We have had trouble more than once but this one took the cake. It was supposed to be a hotel with a casino and advertised as one. But even when we traveled an hour to get there after calling Priceline and telling them it was wrong and that their phone lines didn't even work they still did NOTHING. Even staff told us that Priceline knew they were false advertising and still did not change it.
I will be attending a conference on June 20 -24,2018 that has a conference rate of $105. I looked up the hotel information online thinking I was calling the actual hotel so I could get the conference rate. Only for me to find out that I did not call the Marriott. I called Price Line instead. Never once did the representative state she was from Price Line or that it was a 3rd party reservation call center. The reservation was nonrefundable so I was stuck paying $129 per night instead of $105 per night. That was my first interaction with Price Line. I WILL NEVER MAKE A RESERVATION WITH PRICE LINE AGAIN!
DO NOT BOOK WITH Priceline they ruined 2 nights of our family vacation. After spending 2 hours on the phone with them they told me tough! They booked us in a hotel room that did not meet the minimum requirements of the express deal. Told me: they would not give me a refund because the hotel wont reimburse them. Here are some pictures of the place we had to stay in because they would not back up their agreement... A MUlti million dollar company that wont back up their agreements... straight up crooks. This tv is from 1999. I have a Ton of pictures But they didnt care
I was billed by Priceline at $350 for a 3 night stay at a hotel that was way below expectations/ At checkout I received an invoice for $250. After almost an hour and 3 customer satisfaction agents it was explained that I would not receive a refund of $100 because Priceline had to make a profit on the transaction. Each night on the hotel invoice was noted 'Priceline Low Cost'. Horrible first time experience, only offshore reps to talk to, no satisfaction. First and last time. I'll go direct or look at hotels.com as a better business partner/
Beware of Priceline's "deals". If you book a "deal" flight and whoever is going with you can't go (even in 3 months notice), they will not refund or even let you give the ticket to a friend! I have to eat a $400 airline ticket now.
Beware, their web site defaults to flexible fares even though nonrefundable fares are less expensive. I emailed Priceline on the evening that I booked the trip telling them that I thought I was purchasing the lowest fare. The next day I received an email from them that I had to have called them on the same day to request a refund and that an email did not coun even if it was sent on the same day as the booking. When I called to complain the customer service agent just kept asking me over and over again, "Didn't you read our policy? I can email you a copy", every time I protested that I wasn't aware that I was purchasing a non-refundable trip. Over and out, Captain Kirk.
Booked a "non-refundable" rental car through them, and had to cancel the whole trip four days in advance. They said they could not give my any refund, but it's a lie! The car rental company advised me that they still could refund, minus a small early cancellation fee. Total scam!
If only I could give -0 I will rate them negative -0 as in I spent 3hrs. Over the phone they kept me on hold several times. I wanted to cancel my flights from them and the issue wasn`t even resolved. Spending more than 3hrs. Is way too much!
I got charged $400 to change a 600 ticket, where the departure time was moved by a day.
Yes this was really the the airline hitting me, but I have come to expect better support from a travel agency than this, better negotiation.
Your better off contacting the airlines directly, I would have at least save $60 in pricline fees.
No savings with the site, no help, very costly mistake to use them.
Their "areas" included hotels that were 30 minutes away from where I was searching. When I contacted their customer service, they were unable to do anything - they said they do not reach out to the hotel. So I contacted the hotel which was much more accomodating, but they were only able to cancel it if Priceline contacted them. I called Priceline again and finally got them to call the hotel.
Horrible experience; hours of my time wasted.
DO NOT USE THEM! - HORRIBLE
One I used express and the hotel was not a known name, not in the area that was shown, its not downtown Seattle where I wanted not near anything. Somehow it also got nilled to my daughter (she uses the computer too) Not sure if its hackable from there program or what. But they will not fix that either its NON CANCELLABLE and they are NON CUSTOMER SERVICE! HORRIBLE! And the price was not cheaper one they add everything on I could have gotten the Hilton for over 100 dollars cheaper - DO NOT USE THEM!
My experience with Priceline was terrible. I called their customer service multiple times because they messed up the dates for my travels. They charged me double for the hotel, and then they didn't put my information in correctly so I was charged by the hotel as well. I was back and forth with them on the phone for TWO weeks, and the customer service was EXTREMELY poor. I was very upset by this and will never book a hotel through Priceline ever again, and will recommend that people book hotels anywhere but Priceline. It may be cheap, but it is definitely not worth all of the problems they have caused, and all of the inconveniences. I had booked through Priceline since they had decent prices, but I ended up paying two-three times more due to their mistakes, which is very frustrating. Do yourself a favor and do NOT book through them, otherwise you'll have to deal with potentially being double charged, have your payment for the hotel through Priceline not go through and have to pay the hotel too as well as Priceline, and try to get help through customer service which doesn't help at all. Save yourself the trouble, and book through another company that may be a bit more expensive because at least then you'll know that they actually put your payment through instead of just taking your money and charging you twice and conveniently not having any answers or solutions.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
