You guys have to be able to change some of the car rentals. I mean I just tried to switch from manual to automatic and you guys can't do it and the car rental company said only you guys can change it. So please try and make this option easier in the future. I had to go and cancel my first rental and get a second rental afterwards? Please!
Never again! Found a BETTER deal on Priceline. Does not match "best price guarantee" because it is an upgrade with the SAME company for a lower price! They will not honor. A fine print ripoff!
I had a reservation for 2 beds, but the hotel was sold out of that, so they only have 1 king first I start to chat with Priceline and after half an hour that guy thinks I'm lying and give me a customer service number of Priceline and told me to ask for higher representative and that number never works.
So I googled it and found a new number and called it, after many holds and talk with four different persons, and one of them hang up the phone on me so finally, the manager called my number after about 4 hours struggling to get my room with my 84 years old grandma.
The manager told me she couldn't do anything even give me a refund or my price difference between my selected room and the room they give me (1 king).
It was a bad experience with Priceline, and I have the screenshots of my room I request, and on my copy of receipt it says they guaranteed on everything you booked, but the manager told me we guaranteed a place for you at this hotel on this date, it's so frustrating.
I never again use Priceline.
I purchased a flight on Priceline.com and found a cheaper one on the airlines website. I had 24 hrs to cancel the Priceline booking per policy statement. The website would not allow me to cancel whole trip so I had the misfortune to call a customer service representative... I told him I needed to change dates and this is reason for canceling. He was rude and arrogant and not at all friendly or helpful so I told him that he was in the wrong job because his customer service stinks. I got my flight over $150 cheaper using the airline website and noted insurance was $10 cheaper too. What a scam. I vowed never to use Priceline again after this unnecessary experience.
Spent over an hour on the phone in regards to a cheaper advertised listing to only get hung up on. SO then i go to chat. I found a room advertised almost $100. Double room is how it was listed (which we know, that means two beds, because you can't find three damn people in one bed!) and priceline listed the room as double bed's. I said, ugh, same thing. The rep says "it depends on the hotel" WTH did i just fall into another dimension?!?!?! Dude, we are talking about the SAME hotel, just a different website! They clearly don't want to follow their price guarantee as they advertise. Lost total respect for this company. Nobody like a liar. No longer want to book through them. Done!
Priceline has been the worst flight service I've ever used in my entire life. Not only is their cancelation policy worth nothing, so is the flight insurance they offer. Additionally, their cancellation policy is also different than the airline you choose to fly with. So if an emergency comes up and you have to cancel/refund your ticket ahead of time, Priceline says you can do so without hassle. WRONG. Check your airline policy first. Of course, the airline I chose has a no refund/return policy no matter what. So once you buy your ticket from that airline, they will NOT give any refunds. It's a scam and it ridiculous. Priceline is slick and tricks you with their cancelation policy, that way you think you're covered in case something goes wrong. Also, you may choose to go through them to get cheaper tickets. Whatever you do, if you're traveling, do not use Priceline. Not only could I NOT cancel the tickets that I bought months ago, but the flight insurance I bought to cover myself in case of emergency, just like this one, was only good for a month after I bought it. Now, the only thing they can do for me is reschedule my flight. Not only is there a $300 dollar cancelation/reschedule fee, but there is an additional $900 fee because the date we decided on is that much more expensive. No thanks. $#*!ing thieves.
Shame on this company. Learned my lesson tonight and will never use Priceline or stay at a Country Inn and Suites in Murrells Inlet. Dirty, beds are broken and mattress' are worn out.
The Manager will lie to you and tell you this is a clean hotel. Don't stay here and do not book through Priceline. We thought we booked through them for the Holiday Inn Express to find out we were at this dump. Took pictures for proof it was that bad. Long night without sleep but will rest and head home in the morning without touching the FREE BREAKFAST.
I booked two weeks of a hotel on Priceline.com. The website advertised "Free Cancellation" on the hotel. That is the ONLY reason I was willing to select as I was unsure if the dates I was anticipating would be exact. When I attempted to adjust the dates with Priceline.com a week prior to the start date, they told me that the sale was final and I could not get any refund or change the dates. They argued that the bottom of their checkout pages state that all purchases are final. Then what does "Free Cancellation" mean?! They basically told me too bad and kept referring to the disclosure. What?! A fee for 12 days at a hotel! THis might be amongst the most sly and unjust practice I've ever come across. Do not use this company! They are crooked. Any reasonable interpretation of "Free Cancellation" is that you can cancel and get a refund.
I went to their website and talked to them even supervisor named Ronald and clearly should have gotten half money back but no go paid $34 a day for same thing why?
Found out the motel was charging $25+ less than I paid Priceline. Talked to numerous people online and on the phone for nothing. No resolution, no interest in making things right. NEVER AGAIN!
If you use Priceline, you immediately eliminate the potential for a refund in case of circumstances such as bugs found in the sheets. This happened to us and we immediate left the hotel. But because we used Priceline, who took the hotel's side, we were unable to get a refund from the hotel and Priceline did not help us! The hotel clerk even told us that the manager told him to never say there are bedbugs there because it would be bad for business. The manager refused to speak to us or give us our money back. And Priceline took their side. Worst experience ever- dealing with Priceline and the Rodeway Inn Sandusky Ohio.
I purchased a ticket from Priceline with a trip protection plan. When I had to cancel the trip for a reason. They denied the refund. I would never ever use their platform again. Also, I have used Expedia before for protecting my trip. The refund was so easy, I wish I had used Expedia instead.
They admitted to me that you are not guaranteed to get what you paid for! In other words, they knowingly book rooms that are not available! And of course they will deny you a refund...
I called to ask about pricing for a hotel. The man on the phone was completely unprofessional and rude. When I asked why the price was different online than on the phone he was belittling and hung up on me. First and only experience with this company. Will not be coming back.
They are booking rooms that are NOT available, keeping the money ( the extra paid for better rooms) and when you call they state it was booked threw a 3rd party- Google omg. Google for real? Then they proceeded to keep me on hold 42minutes! Will not be booking threw Priceline anymore, and suggest to just use hotel website or call! Save yourself the hassle and disappointment
Priceline trip protection is a huge scam
Don't waste the money!
Allianz insurance is just ripping folks off!
Priceline is hiding a lot of " non clear policies", in order to co-operating with a lot of crapy companies, its very possible to have hide "benefits" between priceline and those small and non reputable companies, please DO NOT DEALING with Priceline anymore!
Very dishonest company. They will run you around for hours but do nothing to resolve issues... was given totally different answers by different representatives
I had made reservations at a hotel and it was all wrong they seem to not care or pay attention to what the customer wants or ask for and when you try to talk to them about it they care even less about what is going on with there company and the customer so it is my apinon that the company is not worth dealing with and are nothing but liers and theifs and don't care to do there job or care about the customer and the company sucks as a business and should not be in business at all they have no regards to the customer what so ever
They charged me $138.28 in additional fee and services charges from the price that they quoted me. If you call the hotel directly they will always beat the PRICELINE price. DO NOT USE PRICELINE, YOU WILL NEVER GET A REFUND EVEN IF AN EMERGENCY PRESENTS ITSELF AND YOU CAN ALWAYS BOOK DIRECT FOR LESS.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
