Never again Prestigia!
We had booked a hotel in Jeju. Arriving at the hotel we were told that the hotel had been renamed with a new owner. Our booking through Prestigia was therefore no longer valid. The Prestigia hotline didn't work for 2 hours. After that, Prestigia apologized but told us that they could give us an another hotel but we couldn't stay in the hotel we had booked because it's way too expensive now. We didn't want to accept that. We paid the extra price and stayed in the booked hotel. The additional costs of €450 were not reimbursed. Instead we were offered a ridiculous 10% off coupon for our next booking - as if we'd ever book with Prestigia again after such an incident like this!
I booked with them and once i reach the hotel they said that we didn't receive the money from them and i paid again and i contacted with them to refund my money back as hotel said and they round and play with me only more than 6 months
Beware of Pretigia! Never Again!
After charging full payment and providing a booking confirmation we were advised that our booking actually DID NOT EXIST! We booked with Prestigia via Trivago, to attend a Taylor Swift Concert in Melbourne with my daughters and despite being charged full payment, 7 months in advance, and receiving a booking confirmation, our booking actually did not exist! Upon checking with the hotel directly we were told that we never had a booking with them!
So why does Pretigia take payment and provide confirmation for bookings that do not exist!
We are now significantly out of pocket after having to quickly rebook with another hotel due to the increased pricing for the same date period. They will not take any responsibility which is amazing!
Trivago should take them off their platform!
Currently the world is going through a pandemic. I had a 5 month trip booked starting from 1st Aug with 26 accommodations booked. Thankfully only 1 through Prestigia. The rest are through Agoda and Wotif. All my accommodations were booked under ‘non-refundable'. Agoda and Wotif have contacted the hotels and they have agreed to waving that condition and refunding my money back. They have been great throughout the whole process.
But here we have Prestigia who will do absolutely NOTHING to help you during this time but keep your money. They have nothing in place for the pandemic. I have now contacted the hotel requesting my money back and informing them how Prestigia is treating me and other customers during this time.
Site reload was slow but I was able to complete the transaction. Also, information about all fees seemed uncertain and hidden. I am not fond of hidden fees and like transparency. It would be helpful to have all fees displayed in a organized fashion.

The hotel is telling me they have not received my booking but my credit card has been debited for the full amount. Am awaiting confirmation from Prestigia as to when the hotel will see & confirm my booking. Needless to say, am bit restless.
I booked a reservation on 5/20/20 for a room in October. They charged my credit card on 5/21/20. I cancelled the reservation on 8/28/20 well before the October 6/20 date to receive free cancellation. I have not received a refund. I can not speak with anyone. I waited on hold, as first in line, for well over an hour and thirty minutes.
Don't waste your time and money with this reservation system.
Booking was very easy. I immediately received my email confirmation that contained the link to print my invoice and voucher. Clearly states to print and bring voucher when checking in. Also clearly states to use received email if cancellation is needed. So far so good. True testament won't be until we actually arrive and check in.
So far the experience has been simple and easy to book. The price was far better than booking directly. I will be keen to see if this flows as easy to our check-in with booking through prestigia. Thanks

Need to cancel a reservation and the policy mentioned free cancellation and your credit card will be charged before certain date.
They charged you as soon you make a booking and they will retain your money. This is the reply I got:
Kindly be informed, since the cancellation occurred in the event of a force majeure, we are complying by the general sales conditions, hence Prestigia will not be processing refunds, and will instead offer a credit note for a future stay.
The experience can only be seen at the hotel reception. The benefits advertised are not visible on the booking! That's pretty strange. Breakfast and access to the spa should be included free of charge. This can no longer be seen on the booking confirmation.
I've never had such a bad booking confirmation and before the pandemic I traveled 100 days a year.
I just learned this and feel compelled to share this information. A case against this company has been opened with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center. Hello I had one big issue: I requested a room for three and was quoted a price. But then had to pay additional fees to bring my 2 guests.
However the hotel is amazing and they have great guest service and management. They called right away to let me know there would be an upcharge. Then they minimized the upcharge.

Prestigia support team are not updated with current situation in my country which the government suddenly announce travel restrictions due to spikes of Covid-19 cases. I am not able to go to the hotel due to the restrictions and would like to move my booking date until the travel restrictions is lifted. The government announcement is last minute so it is definitely not my fault. I really don't want to cancel the trip, I just want to change the date until the government lift the restrictions. This situation should be an exemption. I am willing to pay modifications fee to change the date instead of getting charged for no show. This is a very bad experience and this is going to be the first and the last time I'm using Prestigia.com. I will never use Prestigia.com again in future!
I am extremely disappointed with this company. I was offered one price and then at payment they charged $20 USD more per night! When I emailed to resolve this issue, they ignored me for days. After repeated attempts, they said it was dynamic pricing. On the personal email with an advertised price, they say they guarantee the best price. They said nothing about limited time offer. I booked this hotel 1 hour after the email. They refused to honor the price. What is more this hotel is not luxury!
I book a room in AC but needed to cancel. I realize that booking was done in UTC time zone and I'm in EST so I was to late. Reluctantly I went to AC worried all along worrying something was going to go wrong. Check in went ok. On to the room which was very nice, clean and had a view of the bay. So far so good. I later learn that the $27 resort fee I paid include $18 food voucher and discount on valet parking which only cost me$10. Im waiting for my credit card statement to make sure everything is ok there, but all in all I had a good experience and probably would try them again

Bad experience
I booked a room through Prestigia two months ago to stay at the Hyatt Regency Amsterdam in August. I gave a deposit with the plan to pay for the room upon arrival in August. Today out of the blue the hotel charged my card twice for the full stay. Prestigia is is useless. I talked to some half asleep disinterested Middle Eastern man in London. He was completely indifferent. Then I talked to Ana at the Hyatt Regency - she said yes was card was charged twice -sorry. I then called Hyatt customer service and they said they would look into when they had time. No more Prestigia or Hyatt for me.
Despite "Free Cancellation" refuse to refund money, credit only. Horrible costumer service, nobody pics up a phone (one cell phone line?). If you chance booking with them use a credit card that can get you your money back!
Answer: I doubt it. I didn't get a refund when I cancelled way before the deadline for free cancellation. I have heard from no one, no one answers the phone. I was on hold for an hour and thirty minutes as " the next one in line" I gave up. Don't waste your time, energy or money on this reservation site.
