Sweet software! It is fairly expensive for what it does and you can find others out there for less money but I trust pqdvd as they have been around for years. I did have a problem buying the software using mozilla and if pqdvd is reading this they should fix that. I then used IE and the transaction when through fine. I would not bother buying there extended 1 year protection plan to download the software again. Just keep your email with the account information on it and you can download it anytime you want.
I have been using pqdvd for years back when they just starting out in the video converting business. There are dozens and dozens of similar products out there on the internet, but pqdvd is one of the best and their product works. They are also a reputable company and won't screw with your CC or personal information. I highly recommend this company for that reason.
PQ DVD is no longer in business. Therefore you cannot get technical support more can you activate your copy so I would strongly suggest you not purchase it since you can't activate it. It is unfortunate as it was an excellent program as for the other person's review about needing a new code that is untrue. As long as he has the old code that would still work, unfortunately their website is down and gone so it won't, no code will work.
I have seen this site reviewed here on sitejabber before and never really saw a purpose for it in my life until now. At work I got an iPad to use on the job and now really want to convert DVDs into movies I can watch on it. I see DVD to iphone conversion but not to ipad. I think it is probably the same thing but I am not sure. This software is just what I needed! Thanks jabber guys.
This site describes the product range well but the support is non-responsive. I have contacted them in the past and it has taken more than a week for them to get back to me.
Recently the support team have not responded to any contact. The "Live" chat is never open and orders have not been fulfilled.
It's a pity as the software is excellent.
I just got their software and it works great on my laptop using windows xp, but it does not seem to work very well on windows 7. I emailed them but have not heard back yet. Very good at what it does but I don't know if they support windows 7 and looking on their website they say only xp and vista :( In any case, I can now watch all my dvds on my iphone! Yippee
Awesome way to fill your iphone/ipod with tons of movies. Why waste your money on itunes... I use netflix to rent unlimited movies, convert them to iphone using pqdvd iphone suite and I get all the movies I want. No point spending $8.99 per movie at iTunes.
I bought this to convert movies to my i-pod and my laptop crashed and I have e-mailed them to give me a new code to transfer to my new computer. I've e-mailed over 20 times with no reply. It looks like they have no customer service. I would highly recommend you find another company who answers when you have a problem.
There is no support since 2008. I need to reload and never received my paid for CD for loading. I first loaded on the web but thought I would get the CD. Now I need answers or reload and am unable to contact them. There support site does not work and no way to contact them. I would love to find out a contact to get back with them as I have recommeded this to others. With no support or follow through I can no longer recommend this software. I do recommend Cucusoft as they do support it but they have a higher pixle compression and I likje the lower one that PQDVD offers.
OMG! I love this software. I have converted about 25 DVDs to my iphone and now can watch them whenever I want. Software works great and you can easily record the exact part of the DVD you want to.
