Free to join, just go look through the blogs to see what sort of discussions are to be had. That's your primary way of getting to know others on the site and as mentioned, it's filled with (mostly) one demographic - African Americans, who all seem to be caught up in complaining about the opposite sex - women complain about the men being players and nothing more, men complaining about their baby mamas or women who didn't reply back to them. All democrats, even the whites, who mostly use the blogs as a conduit to complain about Trump and hating America. Very alienating experience if you're not black and/or not caught up in US politics.
There is NO intelligent discussion to be found anywhere on those blogs - or on that site - for the matter. My experience on there reminded me of watching violent chimpanzees in an enclosed area.
I'd like to add that the app is not Chinese owned as some other contributors here have claimed. It's owned by a company based out of Ontario, Canada called Successfulmatch inc. who owns and runs several other dating sites that are predatory in nature. They own both of the largest herpes dating sites (PS and MPWH) as well as other 'kink' sites like olderwomendating.com and seniormatch.com which I assume aims to prey on older women looking for love? You need to PAY to message other users on all of these sites.
There is a special place in hell that's been reserved for the people who run and operate these websites.
Do NOT go to Positive Singles or MPWH if you're sad or feeling insecure. The experience leaves much to be desired and may cause you to fall into deeper despair.
Yes, you may have a sti, but this site isn't the answer. It's full of abandoned profiles and it's a complete waste. I was on it 5 years. Trust me, I know. I once sent out over 20 messages and didn't get back one reply. I did meet three people in 5 years from it, but they were just hard up for safe sex. It was distasteful to say the least. I will never go on there again.

I have been a user for over a year now, and have used both free and premium versions. Although there are plenty of legitimate people on the application and I have met with users in person, it is VERY heavily monetized. The app is basically useless unless you shell out $33.99/mo. In my experience, you are unable to message and chat with a match unless *both* of you have premium. This is very frustrating, to say the least. The app will try to mislead you and at the very last second request a credit card swipe. Furthermore, the app seems totally unmoderated. Chatrooms are filled with so much hate speech and vulgar insults that it is reminiscent of 4chan. Some users in those chatrooms even openly promote pederasty. I am a male, and have not received any negative attention on my profile. However, many of the women I match with have their photos and profile flooded with vile and degrading comments that all users can see. Although I still have the free version of the app installed in the hopes it will change, it seems to be on a downward trend playing host to trolls, bigots, pedophiles, misogynists, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. Some moderation from the dev team would do a lot to help clean up the app.

I've had an account on this site for years (probably 10 or more?) that I didn't interact with much. A subscription seemed pretty pricey and a lot of time on the site I wasn't even living in the US. I had noticed a couple notifications that I had traffic on my profile so I tried to sign in only to to find myself suspended. I have not even contacted anyone on this site in years, and hadn't been on the site weeks if not months. Funny that one day they are trying to lure me to the site with activity and the literally next day I'm suspended. I contacted them and they want a picture of photo ID with only my license number blacked out. I emailed back asking for a reason for the suspension as I didn't want to provide my ID without knowing there was a chance I could be unsuspended. I do use a VPN and sometimes it connects to some random wacky countries, so if it was as simple as you signed on from another country I don't see why they can't tell me that and we can resolve an issue like that.
But they emailed back stating they can't tell me why and assuring me my data will stay confidential. To which I said no thanks, you can't actually guarantee that, you could have a bad apple employee or be victim of a hack. That is not really a site I want my association with leaked.

This app is garbage. Unless you pay $34 a month, anyone can message you from anywhere in the world constantly so my DM's are overwhelmed with people I have no interest in. If you don't pay for premium, you can't talk to any other members who aren't premium either. You also can't add any info to your bio such as Snapchat to help someone contact you if you aren't premium. This just feels like a kick when you're already down. This app is clearly profiting off of manipulating a vulnerable group of people and it's $#*!ed up. Not worth it, even the free version.

I just created a profile today. Being a single mom who has HVS is hard and being rejected is harder so I thought let's try it. Well, the person that was hacking me was literally blocking me from talking to potential matches and being able to be on a blog without somebody having a set up a trap to disrespect me. So if I was chatting with people that was nice and kind, I wasn't allowed to chat with those people. I was only specifically allowed to talk to people who would disrespect me then when the problem became bigger and I contacted PS customer service about my account instead of helping me with my account they deleted my whole account And they blocked me from further making a new account. I never met anybody on there. I don't plan on meeting anybody on there. It was just a little app. I downloaded on my phone and I really started to like it because it was almost like Facebook and now I'm locked out of there so even when I go and sign up with a different email address, it directs me to already account suspended and I'm forced to upload photos of my license of myself, etc. etc. That is not safe for anybody having my photo or my name my address or my license number through the Internet. I was typing anything because I knew what was going to happen. It's like I'm blacklisted with ps because my account is suspended before I can even finish creating the profile and changing emails doesn't make a difference when it should. Now I contacted ps to help with my account and instead of receiving help and protecting my information I was punished even further. You just helped the hacker you (profanity)
