If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a pool over 3 months ago. Since then I have co tacked them through email, I've called, and I have had no success in getting an update on my order. Today I got a email saying they refunded my order without any communication or response to my questions. To add insult to injury they charged me over $100 for this stupid pool cleaner they gave me for free with the order. Why do I need a pool cleaner without a pool! They have had my money for almost 4 months and now I have to go through the hassle of sending back the stupid cleaner to even get all my money back. Sumer is now almost over so no chance of buying a new pool in time for the kids to play either. Screw this company. Horrible business and horrible customer service.
Great price, free standard shipping via Fedex ground... and received my order within 48 hours. Thank you for excellent service :) Was able to replace my old diverters and have everything working properly again! :)
My story is a replica of the other reviews. Hang up on your call, no response to emails, the chat button on the web page is not active. Spoke to a supervisor yesterday(after an hour and 11 min wait on hold) who promised to call me back with an explanation as to why after 4 WEEKS I haven't heard anything about my order and can't get an answer or explanation. She gave me her extension for me to call her, I dialed the extension countless times. No answer! Very frustrated! Advise! Do not even attempt to get something from this company! If things are that bad they should disclose it on the website before you order. It only says expect an addition 72 hours. I have exceeded this time frame by far. Terrible customer service.
Horrible service and company. Would never use again. Ordered product from pic. Was not as described. I contacted them right away, but could not communicate due to the way they request communication. Email doesnt work like that! Terrible customer service! I called next. They say they sent return label and cant do anything (NEVER recieved). Now, they say too late to return. Still in original shipment box. Never opened. $450.00 down the drain unless small claims court. I will proceed due to principle and terrible company. (Incorrect photo)
Ordered the wrong size pool vac hose tried to contact them and after three tries of perma hold attempted online chat. Sent three emails for RMA to no avail-you will never get a response from this company. Ordered the right size hose to avoid 15% restocking fee and they sent me a flimsy vac hose that will not stay attached to my vac head. The ultimate insult is I'm stuck with a worthless vacuum hose and Pool Supply World still charged me a 15% restock fee. Run fast run far from this company unless you want hours of hassle on the phone and low quality products/service along with out right lies.
A resource amongst all others out there. We have had problems ordering pool supplies online. Pool Supply World has solved this for us. We love to read Pool Supply Worlds Blog - we like reading the articles and learning more about our pool. We are thinking about buying a spa from them as we feel we can really use one. We are currently shopping and thinking about going with one of their spas. We have shopped with PoolSupplyWorld for two years now. We buy all of our chemicals from them, whether it be 3 inch tablets or Natural Chemistry - they have it all. We are soo happy we found this company online as it makes it so easy.
Above ground metal frame pool was faulty. Pool Supply World did not allow a return even though the manufacturer of Intex was hard to get in touch with. Do not buy from them unless you want a major hassle! Their customer service is horrible and they definitely do not value their customers!
While product selection and price are good, forget about receiving your order in your lifetime. I placed and order for pool filters and misc. Replacement parts. After more than a week with no shipping information I tried calling, sending an email, and even their chat line. The only people answering phones can only place new orders, can't check on existing orders. No reply to email, and the chat feature says no one available.
I only ordered from Pool Supply World because their website said the product I wanted was in stock. Well here I am weeks later and still no product. The customer support lady (who was friendly and helpful) said there was a problem. Well the problem was told that the manufacturer need 3 more weeks to get it to Pool Supply World. So, do not purchase an item from this company. I have not been able to use my pool all the while this is going on.
More than two months after my initial order, and having never received the item I ordered, I've finally seen my refund credited to my credit card account.
This follows numerous emails and four phone requests. None of my emails were answered, and none of my long wait phone calls generated a prompt response. I finally threatened to contact the BBB and Arizona state attorney general's office.
So, I have my refund, but overall this has been a negative experience. I suggest you consider other sources for your pool needs.
I should have looked up reviews prior to ordering. I was just excited that I found that I was needing for a cheaper price than local stores. I found out the hard way why it was cheaper. It is not the correct product that was pictured on Pool World Supply website. I was finally able to get through on chat. Lucy was nice but the "higher ups" as she referred to them as made the decision that the correct item was sent regardless of the none matching pictures. Now in order to return this item I have to pay for the return shipping and the restocking fee. SO basically they sell the wrong items and then make money off the returns. I would not be surprised if this item has been sold and returned many times over.
I ordered a ladder that stated that it would ship within 24 to 48 hours. That was not the case. I cancelled the order and it has been since 6/21/20 and I still have not received my money back. There is no reason it should take this amount of time to refund my money. I will tell everyone to NEVER use this site or this company.
Parts are not well described and uses 3rd party companies to supply them. Charges $15 to ship back and 15% restocking fee after you supply detailed information on the returned item. No customer service at all and would not recommend using this company.
I placed an order for a ladder on 04/30. Site said to allow another 72 hours due to Covid. I continually checked the website for order updates to no avail. At first if you contact the 800 number it disconnected you. Sent an email and 5 days later got a response to tell me they would look into it and let me know in another 3-5 days. Still waiting for that follow-up. Used their live chat and all they would tell me is they have no idea as the warehouse hasn't processed it. This supposedly got escalated to their management and they were going to call me on this. That was four days ago and still no call. By far the worst experience I have had on line ordering something. I ended up cancelling the order. Having to wait 3-5 days for my money back. If you order anything you better not need it right away and forget getting any follow-up. Buyer beware.
I purchased a pool cleaner from Pool Supply World about 5 weeks ago. It was delivered to someone in California and I live in South Carolina. For the past month we have spoken to 5 different people at this company. It takes at least 30 minutes on hold before you get someone. We STILL do not have our pool cleaner. All they do is just keep feeding you a line of BS to get you off the line saying they are going to give it to a supervisor and they will call you back the next day. NOPE! Haven't heard from anyone. They have confirmed it was delivered somewhere else and they will not make it right. DO NOT BUY anything from this company. I will never shop with them again.
Purchased a Hayward above ground skimmer. Upon installation and filling the pool, the skimmer body had leaks. I contacted customer service immediately expecting they would send me a new one. NOPE! After spending a day arguing with them, they told me I had to "trouble shoot" the problem with Hayward. WTF?!?! What is there to trouble shoot about a leaking piece of plastic?

I was using for 5 years another products from different stores. Every year I had bad looking pool with green algae all 5 seasons. Finally, with your product I do not have any problems with my swimming pool! Thank you!
Placed an order and was given an "on your doorstep" date of a week. When I went to track the order 6 days later it was in "process". Called the company and was specifically told it would be delivered the "next day". Finally, I received information from the shipper and they had just received it and it would be on my doorstep in a week. Turns out that nothing was done with the order for a week until I contacted PoolSupplyWorld. I called again to find out what was going on and how to remedy the tardiness of the shipment. I was told that "not one person in the entire company could help me help me" and then was "disconnected." Great prices if you can stand horrendous service and outright mis-truths. My business is going elsewhere.
I ordered the Legend pool cleaner on Sunday and it was delivered by Wednesday. The price was the best available and the status updates were timely and accurate. I like the fact that they have several distribution centers in the USA so that ground shipping is economical and timely.
We ordered our pool steps almost two weeks ago. Still in the status of processing. Suppose to have shipped right away. We called the 800 # they said they don't ship the item so if we don't hear anything in the next few weeks to call back. We will never order from them again.

Answer: Pricing was slightly better -- In the end, totally NOT worth it. I imagine if everything would have gone well it could have been a positive experience? However, if you have any issues, this may be the worst company on the planet to do business with. Horrible customer service!
