Ordered & got confirmation email, then they notified me TWO WEEKS later was cancelled bc ran out. Was counting on it as a gift and now don't have time to purchase before Christmas. Terrible and unprofessional customer service.
I bought a bunch of Day with Funko's for my daughters. They packed horribly and when we got 5 were smashed. They asked for pictures I sent a slew of them. They then told me packaging does not matter as that is only to protect item during shipping.
They said I could Return and repurchase. I asked if I did if it would come in crap packaging. They responded saying if I continued to abuse staff and using profanities they would block me which would keep me from getting help. The only word I used that maybe could be considered a profanity is crap...
I tried 4 times to do a simple order. Each time I got a message that "something" was entered wrong and I had to call support to resolve the issue. Nothing from my perspective was wrong. Secondly the message did not give me a contact number or email address. A child in first grade could build a better site
I'm a nice guy but this is the worst experience ever. Was told my pokemin double pack would be shipped ahead of time before release date so it would be here in time and here I am at 8:54 PM on release day and it still hasn't even been shipped! Customer service keeps only saying they are working on me and I ask if I can get a refund and they stop responding. Please don't pre order from these guys they have to learn you can't have horrible service when your a billion dollar company im so furious and will never order anything off pokemin center what a joke.
Absolute garbage of a website, one tries to make purchases and it doesnt even let you. Then you contact customer support and they reply with an automatic message and has no help at all. "Just use another card", mate there is nothing wrong with my card, I used every day to make transactions. How do they even have a budget to hire people, how can they make a profit if there is bad at selling products? They should seriously consider taking the web page down.
Ordered a product as a gift and the box came tampered with and the most important items missing. They gave me a refund but they were not able to send me what I originally ordered. This was the shipper or someone in the stock room as the box was ripped open and resealed with tape. Shipper not identified.
I placed an order for something right when it became available because I knew it would go out of stock quick. I was so excited when the item finally arrived, only to open it and find out it was damaged and missing pieces. I immediately contacted customer support regarding this. It took them days to respond with a "I'm sorry can't do anything about it just send it back." They wouldn't replace the item for me and now it's out of stock online. This is not the first time I've received defected/ damaged items and their customer service doesn't care and is never helpful. I will not be purchasing any more items with them. I do not recommend.
I used to love the pokemon center website, but it's gotten very bad and worse since the pandemic. Most of the items are always sold out and you have to click and see what's available because they don't remove or grey out items that are out of stock. Because of this the site thinks you're a bot and blocks you. I'm trying to decide what to buy to get free shipping but I have to constantly click on items to see what's available. I've been blocked because of this. The site is not user friendly.
Not only does the site crash on you, they will block you if you click "too fast"! Very frustrating as this mechanism was supposed to allow actual users to have access to item instead of bots... this has actually worked more in favor of the bots than actual users! I have heard many others who expressed the same and its also all over reddit! This has been so discouraging with the shortage and scalpers, i am on the verge of giving up on the hobby in its entirety which is a travesty because I love pokemon and been collecting for over 2 decades but all the recent events is such BS.
Shipped my item to my billing instead of my shipping address. Had to contact them because they didn't realize it. Contacting them is difficult. They said that the will set up a reshipment. Still no info yet and the package has arrived. I contacted them 4 days ago about this. Now i have to do extra work, have my present not arrive or arrive really really late, and deal with the extra work required to fix this issue. No compensation for their mess up at all.
Not only did they not help me with the problem, but they completely avoided it by just sending my different links to other services. Which had nothing to do with the game I was playing. If i could give 0 stars i would.
I absolutely love the Pokèmon Center. It has very high quality items and my packages always arrive on time. The only downside is it's expensive but you definitely get your moneys worth. If you're a huge Pokèmon fan then this is the site for you. I highly recommend it.
I had 2 items, in my order of 14 items, that were damaged. Customer service told me that I should expect items to be damaged in shipping. But they were clearly shipped already in poor condition. Very untrustworthy site!

Ordered a nice hat I had been eying. Bought it and they canceled it because it was out of stock. Apparently they don't monitor inventory very well. Contacted them and they just shrugged and said sorry. No trying to make it right. Will not buy anything from them ever again.
Ordered a Special Delivery Charizard and let me tell you, I've seen cleaner vintage cards that have been stored in a lunch box for 20 years. The thing was just thrown into the box with no protection along with everything else. It was bent, scratched and every edge was damaged and their QC must have been blind because the centering was shocking. When I contacted the support team they said I would need to return it at my own cost before they could send a replacement. I had a friend that dealt with the UK store with the same issue and they gave him another code without question and even offered a discount off his next order. I suppose the US team just have something against Irish customers. I will never deal with Pokemon US again and I would advise everyone else against it too if you want nothing but trouble.
The Pokemon Center has the best selection and prices of Pokemon collectibles anywhere! I also love their collectibles and the care they take to package them. I've never ever had an issue with the store. I go there frequently to shop for myself and even to send surprise gifts to friends!
I got stuff from them 3 or 4 times, usually booster boxes or 3 pack blisters. The booster boxes & other stuff got damaged every time I got them due to improper packaging & the product had way too much space in the box to bounce around in. All they had to do was put extra bubble wrap or use a more fitting box to ship in. They can care less if you happen to be a collector & want ur product in good shape.
Handles promotional releases badly, customer service is beyond bad, I can't stress this enough customer service is BEYOND bad, they will mess up your order out of incompetence and then not allow you anyway to rectify and won't allow returns/refunds.
I ordered a shining fates tin from their website, which was a task and a half since their website bogs down anytime something new comes out. I have been eager to receive 1 tin as scalpers have been cleaning stock everywhere else. Then Pokemon center sent me an email saying they cancelled my order. They would rather send their stock to scalpers instead of distributing them to collectors. Don't buy from the Pokemon Center website and don't buy from scalpers, it's time to eliminate the scalpers by not giving them any money and to not buy from the Pokemon Center site to make them realize change is needed.
Answer: It's so not a scam. I've always gotten my products. Whenever there's an issue, it has something to do with USPS.
