I gave it one star only because there is NO STAR to click on. I've been with Pogo over a decade with millions in points. This EA has ruined what was fun and obsessive daily games. They have my money for this year, that's it I'm done with this rotten disappointing excuse for fun. I'll be giving up all those hours to get those points because Pogo has hit the skids. Don't bother.
This pogo is nothing but a piece of garbage they update the java then half the games don; t work and then you keep getting plug ins and have to use the box in the top in order to play the games. They have changed regular scrabble so now that you can; t even get a new game. I will not be renewing my subscription next year have been on here almost 5 yrs its a waste of money since they don; t give a damn about how their games work and when it comes to fixing them they are the laziest in the world!
I've tried to play this site's games on both a high tech gaming computer, as well as a run of the mill computer (at home and at work). The site crashes religiously every ten minutes. They run the same Dove add over and over and over. I was considering getting a paid membership on this site, as some games are very limited in what you can do unless you pay for their service. However, it's not worth it with a constant crashing. Also, I've recently received warning through my anti-virus system re: malicious activity stemming from this site. Completely not worth the time and effort.
Games freeze, you get booted off, they are always trying to load unsafe scripts on your computer, If you join and quit, good luck trying to stop them from still charging you. There is no customer service!

I had two accounts that were hacked. Contacted pogo support numerous times with no luck. They refused to refund my money. They told me that they have plenty of what they call pals that monitor the rooms, this is so not true. In my 5 years of playing different games and rooms did not ever see one of these so called monitors. Something needs to be done, about this because all they care about is taking your money
I have been a member of this site since it began 12 or 13 years ago, never had a problem with it until it changed hands since then they have repeatedly stolen my money - I've paid for memberships which have been "lost" in their system. They bury their customer service info and when you finally DO find it you'll discover that you have to sign up for another sister site just to access it. Once you go through all of that and actually file your complaint they tell you they will look into it and then go on to just ignore you. I have already filed complaints with consumer protection but EA games doesn't care because they already have your money and people assume they are legit and still keep buying from them. All those cash prizes they offer? BOGUS all the winners are fictitious players and I have confirmed this firsthand with "winners". Every time someone joins the site EA gives itself a high five and laughs all the way to the bank.
Not only have most of the really fun games disappeared due to the discontinuation of Java and Flash, there is virtually NO customer service with Pogo anymore. You might as well be talking to a wall. The so called "Mods" are game Nazi's who have nothing better to do but bully and censor, the site is rampant with the same old cheats and the games are boring. I play Scrabble only and use new accounts on guest passes to play. I will not join again, ever.
Don't join Pogo unless you love daily frustration. The games do not load, on Explorer, Edge, Firefox etc. I have been a member for awhile now and am quitting my membership before it comes due again. The people who run Pogo do not care how bad it is. They never give any technical support when you ask for it. They say games don't run because my Flash is out of date, even though I have the newest version installed. I have Windows 10 and they say my operating system is out of date and no longer runs their games. Baloney! Do not join, you will be very, very sorry you did. When we joined they had a lot of members but when they interfaced with Facebook, everything went bad. They now have less that half the members they used to have. I have lost total interest in Pogo because it is such a waste of time on something that is broken and never works.
October 2018 I was finally able to get a refund for my POGO account after continued technical difficulties. The first individual I sought help with was extremely rude even telling me at one point to "have my lawyer contact their lawyer."
Lo and behold, even though I never signed in to any website of theirs since I cancelled, I recently received a bill for another year. The only telephone number I could find on line is disconnected. When I tried to chat I was connected to a technician who transferred me to an "expert" technical person where I was expected to enter my credit card number to receive an answer.
Don't trust these people.
Pogo is at an all time low, someone hacked my account and changed my password, contacted support and no help except, would you like to buy a better security for your PC? This site should be shut down! Beware, when you contact Pogo, they want access to your PC to check your virus protection, Don't let them do this!
After 13 years it's time to say good-bye POGO. None of your games load anymore. No it is not my computer, at first I thought but just look at the complaints! Your player numbers are dwindling fast. Thanks or the good years but I have had it with you!
Be ware of free offers from Pogo! They are bogus! I signed up for free trial in Aug. Four days later, i cancelled for (va surgery), two weeks later,(i didn't need surgery) i rel-logged in, to play, they re-charged my credit card! When i contacted them and told them of thier error, with cc statement as proof, they disconnected me. Fact
I'd rather buy a scratch off ticket than have to spend money between advertisements and playing games. The ads take away from the fun of what it used to be. My family has been playing since I was 8 and I'm now 24 and they always complain Pogo isn't what it was.
Games load slow and run so sluggish that they are not fun to play. I won't risk paying for games since most reviews say they don't improve after joining pogo. But I just realized Sitejabber does not let me sort reviews in time order and most of the reviews I am seeing are at least 6 years old.
It was enjoyable playing with other players and chatting. It really feels like a rip off. When my anniversary comes up I am dropping pogo. Or bring back the old games. Add a photo, really! Been a member since 2005 This really pisses me off.
This site used to be great. I've been a member off and on since 15 years ago at least. My laptop is 2 years old. I have Mozilla and Explorer. Neither works. Neither will open a game window. Thank goodness I paid with PayPal. I don't know why they had to change everything. I used to be able to play any game I wanted. Then they make you jump through hoops depending on what browser you use, and they STILL don't work.
I understand that you need ads if games are free, but to play Risk, there is basically a 1-minute ad for every minute of game play. And... the programming sucks so bad that the ads are usually just dead space, with a penalty timer. This website used to be fine, and now sucks donkey testicles.
Pogo USED to be good. Now, not so much. Their "problem reporting" screens are just about useless. It is like pulling teeth to report a problem. No 800 number to actually "speak" to someone. Not worth the $40 a year anymore.
I liked playing scrabble on this site for more than 10 years. Now I have to find a new one because games no longer load on this site. I guess they don't care too much, though, what's one customer? Except my friends and online acquaintances are leaving too.
I have enjoyed POGO for years but all my favorite games are being destroyed while being touted as wonderful HD. All the fun is gone. No spinning for tokens. No history of winning. Basically NOTHING! Please go back to the way it was.
