Pogo

With my last review, I can only say pogo is the only place where 5 out of 6 people at a tab le will share a straight jackpot you get kicked out of room at least once a day, Pogo doesn't care that is what bothers me since it's a 30 dollar month membership. They should care!

I used to really enjoy playing Monopoly World Edition on Pogo. Today, I spent several hours trying to complete a game just against some AI opponents. I constantly had to start over because the game would crash or freeze up. Above the game is a message that says I must use IE 11... which is an old version of IE. I tried running the game on Google Chrome, Firefox and Windows 10 new "Edge" browser and they all have the same problems. It just seems to me like all the games on Pogo haven't updated at all since they were first created and they don't even care. It's run by EA so go figure.

It typically takes up to 45 minutes of repeated tries to get a damn game to load these days... that's IF you can get your game to load at all. I'd rather be playing games on someone else's website than wasting my time repeatedly asking POGO to please let me into their game rooms. The games used to be fast loading and fun but apparently POGO just doesn't care anymore about their paying members actually being able to play. I'd pass POGO by and keep looking for another game site if I were you. That's exactly what I am doing.

I first became a member in 2003 but due to illness (cancer), there was about a year hiatus but renewed by 2004. Changed my email not realizing I'd lose my points but over the years still managed a nice over nearly 27 million points. I have spent thousands on all the upgrade/gems only to watch much of that being given away before it just kinda ended... and then... all those points and work and time playing the games... POOF... gone!
I'm done!
They have turned their so -called new graphics that are designed for a kid and me in my 60's.

Does not work properly from day one, using 2-3 tests per cartridge, readings fluctuatings and are off from other more reliable devices. Im sure seller knows that but selling this device. Scam

Anybody who is saying this website is 3 or more stars is either out of their head, or they are a paid reviewer.

The site is always going down in the middle of games, freezes, horrible AI, lousy customer service that basically dumps you onto old mother hen forum types who just try to feed you some Pogo Kool-Aid! It is what happens when gaming sites take your money, then decide to never upgrade anything. And I say this as one who has used pogo for over a decade. It has gone downhill, but ALWAYS had these problems. The poor level of support is perhaps the icing on the cake, especially for what paid members are charged for this.

I used to play Pogo long ago, decided to revisit today and omfg What Happened!?!? This site has gone off into the ditch since I've last played! After spending an hour just trying to get the games to run at all, when I was finally lucky enough to get ones to work, the insane amount of ads popping up every minute slows the page to an unusable point. I found that 8 times out of 10, after an ad plays, it is supposed to take you back to the game you were in the middle of but no such luck! You get booted! I'm sorry I spent the time creating a profile because it will never be used again! Stay away. There are WAY better game sites out there.

I can remember a time when the so-called 'intermissions' only happened between games of Scrabble. Now, thanks to a new regime that has succumbed to greed, the 'time-outs' occur every 4 minutes or so. They evidently want to frustrate you (call it what it is: bullying) with the interruptions, that you'll join their little 'club' just to stop the torture of the game being stopped every few words. I refuse to be intimidated and to pay for something that I've been brow beaten into. I don't play much any more. The site also has the bad habit of locking up my computer. Save your money. From what I've read of the other reviews, it ain't worth it!
